The Insane Cafe 2: Rise of the Shurlups

The crashing noise immediately woke Dr. Zanasiu up. "Are we under attack?!"

Rime also leapt to his feet. "It's coming from outside." I'll go check it out. With that said, he left the cafeteria and headed towards the noise where he found 3 strange creatures and Wataru about to fight.

"Zanasiu! Deimos! Get my gun!" Rime shouted.

Dr. Zanasiu, grabbed Rime's rifle and his shotgun, loaded them both and ran out the door to where Rime was. He handed the rifle to Rime.

"Now what?" Dr. Zanasiu asked.

"If those creatures make any threatening moves, we fill them with lead." Rime replied. He switched on the flashlight mounted at the muzzle of his rifle.

Strut had just returned and he was carrying several hundred rounds of ammunition for everyone's weapons.

"Well I got the ammo. Apparently, a dinosaur buying ammo is pretty rare sight here." Strut said. He placed the backpack containing the ammunition on a table.

"Take whatever means necessary to take them down. but be warned, the females have a very potent poison, which they can afflict on you through a cut or bite. Kenji here nearly died from it." Stripetail.

"Huh?" Cynder blinked. "What about Spyro and Scooby?"

She kissed Dixie again this time not ennvisioning Spyro in her place. She broke the kiss after fifteen seconds.

The feral Wataru was the one to make the first move though. He growled and charged at the lead shurlup. He leapt to close the last few feet between them and brought the gurulu saber down on it. The creature wasn't anywhere near as tough as a fangire and the demon beast sword sliced through its chest with ease. Another slash served to finish it off.

The other two shurlups fell on him at one and he was forced to use the sword and his right armor to block their claws as well as occasionally launch a blow of his own. The creatures might not be as durable as fangires, but they certainly were strong. He was flung backwards by a slash from one of the creatures. He rolled to his feet and slammed his hands against the pavement angrily.

Rime aimed at one of the creatures and opened fire.

Dr. Zanasiu aimed at the other creature and also opened fire.

The sound of gunfire echoed through the cafe.

"There's trouble." Deimos said. He ran to where he and his gang had kept their weapons and armor. He quickly put on his body armor, helmet and bandolier. He grabbed his rifle, loaded it and grabbed some extra magazines.

Deimos then ran out the cafe door into the alleyway where the shurlups were. He took aim at the nearest one and opened fire.

'I love him, and you love Spyro. " Dixie explainied. "What we are doing is figuring out the relationship between us. Tonight, we will mate with both our partners, me with Scooby and you with Spyro. Use the truicks i've taught you, Cynder... " She said. "Two more kisses, We;ll do it five times in all.. afterwards, well, we'll just say, we explored the upper floor, and talked.. about your home world, and my time as a performer..'

Wataru growled as he saw the gurulu saber was no longer practical with his allies shooting bullets at the shurlups. The sword floated out of his hand, compacting into something that resembled a statue, while his armor regressed to its base appearance.

It didn't stay that way for long though as he grabbed the green fuestle he had previously tried to use in the Pelvanida facility and inserted it into Kivat's mouth. "Bashaa magnum!"

Castle Doran, a large dragon with a castle-like armor covering everything except its neck and head and it's stubby legs and small legs roared from high overhead, spitting out another yellow orb which descended towards Wataru.

He caught the statue inside which unfoled into a green gun. Chains shot up his arm from the gun and then shattered, revealing scale-like armor with a fin pattern in its place. Chains also covered his chest and then shatter, revealing the new green armor beneath. Lastly, Kivat's eyes and the omnilenses turned green.

Wataru pointed the gun at the shurlups, his mannerisms changing from the fierce and impulsive gurulu form to the almost feminine elegance of the Bashaa form. He squeezed the trigger and jets of high pressure water shot from the gun. The barrage of gunfire and the blasts of water quickly felled the two remaining shurlups.

"Okay," Cynder said. She had expected such an answer really. "I guess it's your turn then."

A problem with this plan occured to her though. What if Scooby, or Spyro where to ask for specific information that Dixie, or Cynder had learned from their supposed talk?

She decided to worry about it later and puckered up for the next kiss.

"If they ask' Dixie Whispered, "Just tell them, that we discussed things only you would know..." With that, the fourth kiss began. This one was slightly longer than the third, and Dixie let Cynder's claws move around her throat as it progressed. The awkwardnesss of them kissing was now gone... Dixie pulled away. "Alright, one more kiss. This will be the longest of the five... you'll start as you have for the first and third."

Cynder leapt forward and wrapped her front legs and wings around Dixie for the last long kiss in which her tongue explored Dixie's mouth afresh. She waited for Dixie to break it.

Wataru lowered the sea demon gun, staring hard at the two bodies. He had managed to identify several weak spots on the shurlups thanks to Bashaa's influence and he was positive they were dead. He let go of the gun, which folded back into its statue form and floated up to Castle Doran.

Kivat disconnected from the belt and the Kiva suit turned grey and shrank into Wataru's skin.

"Thank you for the help..." he said turning to Rime and Dr. Zanasiu.

But Dixie Held Her Tight, as the kiss continued she let Cynder's clws go lower and lower, until finally they touched her chest. In all the kiss lasted about a minute, and When Dixie finally pulled away, it was with regret. "ok. I love you, Cynder' It was a simple statement. "But we should reserve our love for the boys, if we end up in this situation again, we can infer two things, One, Either One or both our relationshipss are not going well at all, or two, we really enjoy being together in this manner. So tell me your thoughts, and we;ll head downstairs."

"If it's difficulty, maybe a friend of mine can take you back. He can go anywhere that exists in any multiverse. I can give him a call if you want." Douglas said.

'We need to destroy the Shurlups first. I don't want them using this place as a breeding ground for them.."Nick said. "Once they are taken care of, then everyone can go home, or visit other places. I'd like to go to the Great Valley too, but first things first..

"What are these things?" Dr. Zanasiu asked.

"Well, it doesn't matter. They're hostile and now dead." Deimos replied. He reloaded his rifle.

"Come on let's get something to eat." Rime said, shouldering his rifle.

"Agreed."

The three combatants entered the cafe.

"What was going on out there?! It sounded like Pelvanida all over again!" Mr. Bigmouth shouted.

"We got attacked by some weird creatures." Dr. Zanasiu replied. "Armor up as we don't know if the creatures will continue attacking."

Dr. Zanasiu, Rime and Strut all put on their body armor and helmets. They along with Zachary and Mr. Bigmouth grabbed their weapons.

"I guess buying ammo now was a good idea." Strut deadpanned, as he loaded his shotgun.

"We'll need to speak to Nick." Deimos said.

"I'll do that." Rime replied. He went over to Nick. "Nick, we were attacked by 3 creatures outside the cafe. Dr. Zanasiu, Strut, Deimos, Zachary, Mr. Bigmouth and myself are all armed. What shall we do now?"

Were they big , hairy, smelly, and did they have sharp claws, and teeth? If so, well congrats guys, you met your first Shurlup. The females are worse yet. And we've got about 200 or so more Shurlups in our dining room.." Nick said in reply.

"They looked like huge balls of hair and they smelled terrible." Dr. Zanasiu replied.

"About these Shurlups, what does it take to kill them? I'm not sure if Dr. Zanasiu and I killed it in a hail of bullets or it was our companion's spells."

"Nick, if these things are so dangerous would you mind helping us defend against them? You've already got the armor and the gun, we'll provide the ammo, thanks to Strut."

"Sure. But our last attempt to drive them off didn't work, indeed Kenji nearly died from being poisoned by a female. As for shooting them, You're gonna need all the ammo you have if we want to kill them all. And they aren't easy to kill, lets say you used twenty bullets on each of the shurlups, well if there are 200 shurlyups in there, that means you will have to use 4000 bullets.." Nick said frankly.

"Then you'll obviously need more bullets," Sparx pointed out.

Wataru sighed and sat down on the floor. He had thrown what was left of his burger away when the shurlups had appeared. Nago looked over at him, halfway done with his own meal.

"Could you get something made for Cynder?" Spyro asked hopefully after swallowing the last of his steak.

"Well... it was interesting, but I don't think it's something we shoul do regularly," Cynder said. "I don't want to give Spyro the wrong idea."

Rime looked at Nick and whistled. "Anything else that may be effective against them? We can't use magic."

Strut emptied out the rucksack on the table.

Dr. Zanasiu looked at the amount of ammo on the table. "Hmm. It looks like we've got at least 400 rounds of ammo for each weapon we use. Okay, we only about 50 shotgun shells." He then turned to Nick "Will this be enough?" he said, gesturing to the table.

Deimos then turned to the crowd. "If anyone needs a gun, speak up now."

Good point. Had we continued much longer anyway, we would have ended up mating.." Dixie said. "I don't want to give Scooby the wrong idea either, Cynder. And him walking in on us when we're in the middle this, would DEFINTELY give him the wrong idea. SAme with Spyro. I don't want to run that risk, at all. So Let's go downstairs and join the rest of the group. "Dixie kissed cynder once more on the lips in parting. This one lasted only a few seconds. Dixie pulled away and got up off the bed. "Come on.."

Cynder jumped off the bed and followed. "I'm not sure things would have gone that far..."
