The humans watched as the shurlups attacked, few of which darted their hungry eyes at them.

"Uh oh..." the second human started, and turned to his companion. "You better change quick, Talon."

"Gimme a few moments," Talon replied. "It takes time to get out of this suit. Be right back" He then ran into the nearest bathroom.

The second human rolled his eyes. Talon had went into the LADIES' room...

Petrie nodded, "Me agree, it look bad." He said letting go of Ducky's arm.

Ducky started over with doing the sweeping gesture of her arms and bringing her hands together, Petrie did the same. Able to activate the power that Mr Thicknose had been the guardian till a time of need arose and he found those able to wield the power correctly appointed by the spirits that swelled within certain mountains and peaks around the Great Valley as the last living guardian of his generation.

"Great Valley swimmer guardian." Ducky said. Water seemed to come from the floor and covered her sinking into her and changing her to her guardian form.

"Great Valley flier guardian." Petrie said. Lighting struck down through the ceiling roof, not damaging it and struck Petrie, the bright flash hiding him for a moment as he changed to his guardian form.

Ali recoiled as the lioghtning flashed through the ceiling. "WHAT exactly have you guys been eating lately" She said, asgape at their new forms. She gave both of them a glance.

Both angel and Stitch were bouncing up and down, striking nearby Shurlups with their claws, and sending them backwards from the impact. This was a distraction to allow, Shaggy, Nani, Pummba and Pleekly time to escape.

"Just some thing we can do, only under times of great danger though. We are the current secret guardians of the Great Valley, as Mr. Thicknose was among those before, though he's the last of his generation and the keeper and teacher, he is." Ducky said.

Petrie nods, "No one else in valley know but 6." Petrie said.

Ali shook her head. " I can guess who" She was interrupted as a sHurlup attacked her. She yelled in pain and it bit into her side with its fangs. "get off of me, you beast" She snapped, whipping her tail around and smacking him off of her. the shurlup went flying and smashed through a nearby wall. leaving a large hole.

Ali, please stop... that!" Nick said, under diress from Shurlups. "We already have a huge cleanup job facing.. us.. after this.. Bashing them through the walls, is only going to make things worse." he said swinging at the Shurlup with his club.
_ Dixie parried a thrust by a large Shurlup. She could feel its rank breath through her helmet. it was foul and reeked of mold and bad meat It made her queasy, and she stumbled. She stumbled into a direct blow from the Shurlup, which sliced iinto her side with a huge swipe. It didn't break through the armor but it did force it into her skin, and cut into it. She retched in a spasm of pain, and dropped her sword in falling backward. She backed into Scooby, who was being forced back himself. She braced herself agauinst him, and stopped her backwards momentum. this came at Scooby's expense however, as he was forced to turn away from the shurlup, in order to maintain his balance. 'Re rare retting rour rutt ricked" He muttered, as the Shurlup took a swipe at him. There were more Shurlups climbing out of the holes. there was now close to twenty in all. Dixie breathed hard, the cut was probably a deep one, as she could feel the blood dripping down her left leg."It cut me.." She gasped. " We need to get out of here... ret- retreat" She said breathlessly. The loss of blood was begginning to affect her. Heer vision was starting to become blurry, and Scooby took a swipe in the gut. Things were going very badly..

Try your rings!" Stripetail called out. Setting another Shurlup alight with his fire spell. "Do it now!
_ ROK!" Scoobby barked through his helmet. as he pointed his right fist at the shurlup. The Ring began to glowly bright. Scooby began to think.. 'RIRE!" He said loudly, and a blast of flame shoot out of the ring, hitting the Shurlup. This was not like Stripetail's magic, this fire could be put out by rolling on the ground. But it was the best he could think off at short notice. he turned to lok at Dixie, and she collaspsed into his arms. She was really starting to feel the cuts efects, it must have cut into an artery, because it was not stopping. "Take- take off my helmet.. please cousin" She whispered. "I'm about to pass out."

"Sky fire." Petrie said as he pointed at the nearest tentacle and lighting launched from his fingers at the tentacle.

"Ice teeth." Ducky said, a good size icicle appearing in her hand and flying at another tentacle.

Snoopy hit one with his piece of chair as Skitter jumped off the table, not sure what to do. He jumped over a tentacle and onto the floor admist some mithril.

The human backflipped away from one of the foul creature's wide slash, almost landing into a second one trying to sneak up behind Ali. He quickly regained his posture and leaped into a spinning back kick, his foot landing square in the shurlup's hideous jaw and sending it flying headfirst through the hole Ali sent one into earlier.

"What's taking that stupid raptor so long?" he muttered.

Scooby obliged unbuckling her helmet. Dixie's face was tight and drawn, and she was breathing pretty heavily."Ret Re rarry Rou" He said softly. "No,cousin, if you do that I might pass out." Dixie said. you're going to pass out shortly anyway, she told herself. she clutched at her side,the blood now was dripping on the floor. Scooby noticed it and his face grew solemn. He them picked Dixie up and put her over his shoulder. he them nade a dash for the door blasting away with fire baklls and slashing away at his sword. likewise, angel and Stitch were also heading for the door. a blinding light filled the room. Stripetail had unleashed a lightning spell. this killed many, but not all of the shurlups, this was enough however, to buy time for the rest of the group to escape. "everyone, OUT! we need time to bandage our wounds and think of our next move' Stripetail said. He put his staff away and made his way to the door. _
Scooby carried Dixie a short way from the diooor and set her down. "Rhe's rurt" She said. As Stripetail came up to him. Stripetail bent down "We are going to have to remove the armor by hand, since I will have to clean it before she can weatr it again. " He said. he unbuckled the top part of Dixie's armor and took it off. her dress was in shreads, and was stuck in places tio the armor. "Do you have any spare clothes Dixie" shook her head. She was now seeing two of each person.
Scooby removed the middle section, and the wound was revealed. it was a fairly large wound, and it was a deep one. "She's nicked an artery" He said, reaching inside his robes and pulling out a vial. "This will stop the bleeding, but it will sting" he pulled the vial's top off and poured it on the wound. Dixie conoluseed, and Scooby hasd to hold her down. Scooby removed the last of Dixie's armor, and pulled it off of her, and set it aside. the vial did its work, and the bleeding stopped. Dixie began to recover.

(OOC: I don't mind. I'm just trying to slow my already slow pace for Aves to stay in the game.)

"Talon!" the human shouted, "You're moving slower than a tortoise! What's taking you so long?"

Just then, Talon, no longer a human, but a 7-foot tall forest green Utah raptor, stepped out the LADIES' room, dragging along his unfurled parachute. "Yeesh... I always forget how impatient humans can be..."

He was interrupted by the snarl of three of the rancid beasts charging at him. He leaped with grace and power over the shurlups, his parachute blanketing the monsters and their vision, which gave him plenty of time to swing his powerful tail across in one mighty arc, knocking the trapped shurlups out of consciousness.

Skitter saw some of the others leaving and decided to follow them out of the madness. He used his tail to whack a piece of mithril from time to time at a tentacle, attempting to cover the retreat of the others.

Snoopy ran into the kitchen and grabbed one of the chief's knives and ran out to start using that, a bit better then using a chair.

Ducky & Petrie continued to attack different parts of the same one, Ducky with her ice teeth attack which shot an icicle at the creature. She changed the area to to ensure it could not get use to her attacking the same area.

Petrie sometimes used lightning that he called his sky fire attack, and at other times used his big blowy wind attack to blow some mithril and bits of a chair and other small stuff at the creature.

"Some others leaving." Petrie said.

"We will provide a distraction." Ducky said.

"Yoou hold them off, while we get out of here" Ali said, looking at her friends and she turned and bolted for the door. she winced as she ran, the air stinging the bites she had recieved, Shurlup nipping at her tail. She bloted through the door. Now only a handful of defenders were left, the floor was strewn witry dead Shurlups, and the reek of them was horrible.

Dixie sat up, and breifly looked at herself. . "Relax" stripetail said. "Just take it easy. "you've lost a good deal of blood, and your armor is covered in it on the inside. You'll not be wearing this for awhile" Can't you return it to my ring then?' She asked softly, as a wave of inertia rushed over her. "No, the armor must be repaired and cleaned first" Stripetail said.

I have siome blankets in the car" Nani offered. she can cover herself with that. "I guess we';ll be spending the night out here then?' "Most likely" Pummba said. 'Well I'm not going back in there, until those monsters are driven out!"Pleeky said huffily. Ange;l and Stitch nodded, they were tired from fighting the Shurlups, and needed to rest. Lilo shivered as wind blew through the area. It was now nightime and the temperature was dropping. the cold didn't help any of the injured feel any better.

Ducky nodded as she dodged another attack, and ignoring her injuries made over to where Petrie was. She held out her hand and said, "cold wind".

Petrie grimaced at the pain from his injuries. He nodded as he heard what Ducky said and took her hand with one of his. They could now combine their abilities to an extent. Together they said, "Big cold blowy wind," causing a wind to come up that blew some mithril that it picked up at the creatures left. Where the wind touched on the creatures and around them it froze as it touched, or made the area very cold, leaving most of the surrounding area untouched.

Skitter meanwhile made his way out, jumping over attacking tentacles and managing to get minor nicks, some from the sharp edges of the mithral or glancing attacks from nearly dodged attacks.

Nanuii ran to the car, and unlocked its trunk, reveakling a pile of blankets and a knapsack. This was filled with food, they had been going to have a picnic when this whole thing started. She grabbed the knapsack and blankets and returned to the group. "here she said handing a large green Blanket to Stripetail 'Have Dixie put this on. We 'll give her space to change. " She said, handing out blankets to everyone nearby. "Lilo help me hand them out' she said to her sister, who got up and took
_ Dixie slowly gotr to her feet, and staggered a little. She was woozy from the loss of blood. "I'm going to change over there behind the building. Every-everyone give me space." Stripetail nodded. "I'll cuiurse anyone who peeps on her,." He said coldly.
- Dixie went behioind the building and undressed, and wrapped the blanket around her knotting it in the back, and covering her most private areas. her dress was a loss, and she muttered. 'this waas one of my favorite dresses" She said to herself., picking it up with slight disgust, and carrying it with her as she returned to the camp, and sat down tossing it in front of her in a dejected gesture. Scooby sat down beside her. "Rou reeling retter?' he asked. 'A little" She said quietly, as Scooby put her arm around her . Shaggy came over and sat down by them.'Hope you're feeling a bit better Dixie,' He said pettung her on the head, causing her to smile a little.

The human watched as most of the others left the building, and then turned back to the shurlups now making their way towards him. He opened his skyjumper's suit and tied the upper half around his waist, revealing what seemed to be a black, plated, sleeveless shirt. Just as he finished, he slid to the side as one of the beasts lunged at him, using both their movements to complete a spinning ax-kick down on the monster's head. Instead of stopping, he placed his weight down on the foot he used and ducked down low underneath another shurlup as it swung at him, quickly spinning around to land his other foot into the vile creature's hairy ankles...

Talon stepped back as two shurlups charged at him, using his powerful legs to back flip flawlessly towards the wall behind him. When it seems he was going to collide with the wall, he landed just inches from it and stops his momentum with one of his talons digging into the plaster. He then launched himself off the wall into a frontal flip over the pursuing monsters and spun, striking both creatures back with a jaw-breaking whack with his tail. "Maybe we should join the departing party?" he said at last.

"I think there's still a few others trapped in this place," the human replied as he right hooks a shurlup in the chin. "But I can't see anyone else among these things!"

Ducky and Petrie continued to hold hands. They looked around and saw the others they could see had left.

"Maybe we leave?" Petrie asked not seeing anyone.

"We should, to be sure the others are ok." Ducky said.

"You can get us out faster then us alone." Petrie said. They released hands and as Ducky turned around he took a deep breath and grabbed a firm hold of her tail. She then took a deep breath as well and made as if to dive into the floor. Instead of hitting the floor she instead went into it as if the floor was water. Another of her abilities, she could swim through more then just water, dirt, rocks, ect. Petrie went along with her as he continued to grasp her tail, carried along since he was in direct contact with her.

Stripetail turned as Ducky and Petrie broke through the ground a short time later at the makeshift camp.. "welcome you two. You should be among the last of those still inside. I think those humans are the last. " He said, looking at thetwo of them. "you two meed to rest.."

Ducky looks in the direction they came in, "I hope the get out ok." She said. "I'll wait a bit to see if they will come out." She said.

Petrie nodded, "Maybe they come out soon." He said having relased Ducky's tail and looked back where they had come from.

"We must be the last ones left!" Talon shouted as he tripped a shurlup with his sharp talon. "I don't see anyone else in here except these things..."

"Talon! Watch it!" the human interrupted as he sprinted towards the raptor and used the momentum to leap over his friend in a spinning crescent kick, striking down a pouncing shurlup that had snuck up behind the dinosaur. Just as he landed on both feet, another shurlup swung at him with its hairy arm in a clothesline, knocking the human off his feet into the air...

But the human was ready. He leaped into the air into what seemed like a backflip just a moment before the monster "struck" him. With his arms clinging to the smelling arm of the brute, he swung his foot out and sent his foot into the back of the beast's head, and then finishing the momentum to land back on his feet. The shurlup he hit flew forwards straight into Talon's clothesline, forcefully interrupting the initial flow of movement and flipping it backwards onto its head upon the ground.

"You're right, for once," the human said as he watched more of the stank monsters appearing around the room. "Let's get out while we can!" He then ran back to Talon and hopped on the dinosaur's back, and the duo left the building amidst the growing mass of monsters to what seems like a makeshift war camp the others had made. "You have got to be kidding me..." the human muttered.
