Cyrix smiled as it seemed they were finally getting underway. He managed to keep his feet steady and take one step at a time to keep the pace equal with Mim, Littlefoot, and Ecco. After walking a few more steps, Cyrix smiled again as he sniffed the air and said, "I can smell the hot water...we are close everyone. Just a few more steps." he then looked down to his nephew and gave a happy smile.

Mim and Littlefoot kept pace with the others. When he heard Cyrix's speech Littlefoot sniffed the air, "Yea, I can smell it too." He said.

"We are very close now, just a bit more and we'll be there." Mim said to everyone to try to keep their spirits up and focused.

Cayso sniffed the air - "Yeah, we are close indeed." - Cayso kept on walking, he gave a breathe before talking again: - "hot springs may be the better part of places near smoking mountains." - He then looked at the dinosaurs carrying Longtail in the travelling nest - "How are you doing there Ecco?"

Cayso smiled: - "You don't change Ecco, that's good." - As they all kept on walking, the view of the hot springs became now more clear.

Cyrix smiled as he said, "Yes i agree. Keeping a slow and steady walk will make sure that nobody is rushed and..." Cyrix however didn't get a chance to finish his sentence as he tripped over a rock on the ground, and in an effort to catch himself put all his weight onto his side of the nest causing it to topple.
'Oh dear.' thought Cyrix as he watched Longtail roll out of the travel nest, and right into the hot springs. The elder Rainbowface was glad to see that his nephews head managed to stay above water even as the rest of his body started to sink.

"No." Littlefoot said, remembering Chomper falling into the big water and not being able to swim. He ran the rest of the way to the water and jumped in. Mim saw what happened and where LIttlefoot was going and ran to the water to jump in on the other side of Longtail from where Littlefoot had gone.

(ooc: Not sure if someone is closer to the hotsprings, part of why I didn't post either of those characters getting to Longtail, in case someone is closer, & if more want to help save him too.

After finally standing up, Cyrix ran over to the hot springs and took several steps into the water just far enough to make sure that Mim and Littlefoot could keep Longtail from being completely submerged in the hot spring. "Thank you both...for keeping Longtail from drowning."

Longtail at that point however even though unconscious he could feel the hot water making the pain in his throat disappear. It was slow at first, but he could feel it working.

Wow, glad that nothing bad happened to him, Ecco said, still a bit shocked.

See, Ruby said. He is fine now. Do you think you want to take a bath too? It could be good for your injuries.

"It sounds like a good idea, thank you for everything." - Cayso nodded, he also told Ruby he can walk his way to the water, so he did and got inside. After a couple of seconds, Cayso felt far better as the hot water did it's job. - "I should do this more often, this really makes you feel better, specially after a great fight."

Littlefoot put his tail under Longtail to try to keep his head above the water as Mim held onto Longtail's sides to help what Littlefoot was doing and try to prevent Longtail from slipping off of Littlefoot's tail.

"Just try to relax." Mim said to Longtail quietly. "The water will help you to feel better." She said.

"Yea, it is really soothing and relaxing." Littlefoot said.

Cayso's body did feel much better now indeed, the hot water makes him feel relaxed, to see Longtail been in the water too with Cyrix, littlefoot and Mim made things even better. Cayso then looked back to the dinosaurs still on the land and told them happily. - "Ecco, Ruby, you should come to the water too!, here it feels so great!."

Cyrix sighed as he watched Littlefoot and Mim hold Longtail in place to keep him from slipping under the water. He then stepped over and said, "I'll hold him for now...you two go relax." He then reached underwater and picked up his nephew as he sat down in the hot water hoping that Longtail would get better soon.

Longtail after a few short moments finally opened his eyes and looked around without moving his head, and he smiled as he recognized where he was. He then took a small breath of air through his nose...being careful not to breath through his mouth.

Cayso saw Longtail waking up, as he tried to approach a little to him and his uncle he said. - "Hi, don't try to speak yet until you get better, but I want to know if you are feeling ok."

Longtail could only nod his head slightly in response to Caysos question. But he knew he was feeling better.

Cyrix gave an ear to ear grin as he said, "Yes, I think Longtail will be just fine as a matter of fact. He just needs some more time to let his neck soak in the hot waters a little longer."

"and maybe some leaves for his wounds once he comes out of the hot water. " Mim said then looked over at Cayso, "and a certain other person's wounds. You folks rest in the water, I"ll be right back." She said and got out of the water and headed to where there was an area of various types of plants and started getting some leaves of this and that type.

Littlefoot nodded to Cyryx, "As long as you are sure." He said. He then moved a bit deeper into the hot water so he could lay down with just the upper half of his neck and head above the water. "It is very relaxing." He said as he half closed his eyes.

Cayso looked at Mim, and then to his friend with much curiosity - "Ehh... ok... Are you sure Ecco? you may regret to not come in here." - Cayso smiled and then he closed his eyes for a bit, to try to relax some more. Even though almost his entire body aches, what is still hurting him is Longtail's bite on his left forearm, where his large scar is. Cayso grabbed his left forearm with his right arm as he sat down, just leaving his head out the water.
