I just recently burned myself a new mix cd (yes I still do this for my car). This is of ones where ballads have come out of animated films/shows. I think I got most of them if not all. Realistically, many of them sound a lot alike down to tempo, instrumentation, and vocalists.

A ballad from an animated film either is based on the film’s main theme, or was performed during the film by the title character(s), and played over the end credits in a pop ballad. Pop ballads became popular when the hit duet between James Ingram and Linda Ronstadt, Somewhere Out There made it big and almost all animated films had them for a decade after. These ballads fell out of favor by the end of the 1990s, turning towards pop music for the credit rolls.
(That last part was on my notecard I put with the cd.)
So, how many of you have heard these, and/or like them?
