After a few thoughts, how he will manage to find Longtail, Ecco thought about where Longtail could be. In the Great Valley? In the Mysterious Beyond?... Moment! Wait a second

Hey, everyone listen, I think we forgot something. A very important thing. Ecco adressed to the group. This purple light changed everything. Here and in the Mysterious Beyond. It is still there. So we can definitly tell, this is the cause, why the GV looks like it is right now. But where the light comes from, that we don¥t know. From what I¥ve heard from Blueberry, it came out of the ground, and not from the sky.

Blue-eyes nodded. "Some of the flying sharpteeth who are members of my herd mentioned to my great grand father seeing skyfire of that color come from the ground and head to the sky, instead of sky to ground like skyfire does usually."

He looked at Scarface, "We are not sure where Longtail is, but if we take care of the problem Longtail should be ok."

"Or it'll be much easier to bring him back." Mr. Thicknose said. "Either way at least some have to see about dealing with the cause itself."

"He may be with whoever caused this or someone who is utilizing it for their own benefit." Zal said.

Zaine still couldn't get what Soul said out of his mind. Let go of what I fear to lose? "I don't know if I can do this Dante. I've never been told to kill a friend before, especially Longtail. I'm so confused."

Cyrix sat down across from Blueberry as he sighed and replied, "well...as a matter of fact, I have heard stories of such a place...last time it was spoken of it was called "Unknown Valley" or was it Forbidden Valley..well nevertheless I know that most dinosaurs who travel there just don't return. May I ask why you ask?"

Cyrix gave a small smile as he said, "Well Blueberry I did have my suspicions about your past, but it seems I was right...at least partially. If it makes it any easier, I too know about the Ancients. It is something I've been wanting to tell for quite a while. But I didn't tell Longtail for...personal reasons. I think I may know of the important thing you speak of..."

Cyrix took a breath and continued, "It happens to be part of the song I had Longtail memorize as a matter of fact. It goes like this... By the Guardians light...we live to fight...to protect the ones we hold at night...to see the light...at the end of the fight...and know that it warms our hearts." And that song was supposed to be sung by the Ancients to show that the world that both dark and light were needed for our survival."
