"Well...you know, our pint sized herd was getting antsy" Cree covered a bit as he landed. He frowned at the sight too though, "Yeah, somethings up, I'll go spy" he said with a grin, "I'm good at that, it's how I found out you were the one to eat Tylr's last treestar that day as kids and you never knew you got found out...don't worry I didn't tell him" Cree grinned again before flapping off.

He crouched behind some rocks and listened as best he could... He heard the sharp beak tell the fast runner "let's go", but go where Cree wondered.

"Toss the seed it is, then" Misty said with a smile.

"Yes, that sounds like a very good game to play so we will have something to play so we won't be bored" Ruby said.

"Yeah, we'll just have to watch how high we hit it" Misty answered Deon, "but I think we can do it".

Screech and Thud moved out this way and that, helping scout the perimeter for anything on the patrol that Redclaw might miss. A little lizard scurried behind a rock, but it wasn't intelligent enough to talk so Thud paid it no mind as he spotted it and moved on.

Terri nodded to Dil and said, "Thank you Dil." she then turned to Chomper and said, "Dear, your father has food, but we should probably eat it outside...so as not to make your friends worry or nervous."

Peal shook her head and yawned.
"I think I'll take a nap. Just try not to hit me with the seed okay everyone?" she said with a laugh.

Pterano sighed as he watched Cree try to do his little spying game, but Pterano knew that if anything went wrong he could potentially lose a brother, and that was something he was not willing to do, but either way he sat on his rock waiting for something to happen.
"Do be safe Cree. You always were foolish enough to try anything." Pterano said quietly to himself.

"Ok mom, let's go outside," Chomper smiled. "You can start the game without me guys for now," he called back.

Rory first grabbed the seed. "Heads up!" he said, tossing it to Misty

"Well, I'm not exactly sure. It's true that I am younger, but perhaps other herds may feel less threatened by me, as they are naturally going to be suspicious of a stranger. If you would rather go that is also fine, though, but we should probably make this decision quickly." Ruby's mom had begun glancing around surreptitiously, as if expecting Redclaw's return at any moment.

"I would rather go but, you are younger and they may feel less threatened with talking to a female then a male. I've observed most folks do find females less threatening and tend to be more willing to take to females before males." Ruby's Father mentioned, not liking the facts but they were as he observed.

"Sounds neat." Deon said.

"And fun." Ruby's brother said.

Misty laughed, "Ok, we'll try; and if someone does I'll snitch them out" she said with a smile, it was unsure if she was kidding but she probably was.

She prepared as the seed was tossed to her and then, running, batted it with her tail sending it flying off in the other direction.

"I got it because it's coming to me" Ruby realized and hit it with her own tail, sending it flying off once again...

Cree frowned as he continued to easedrop, it was definitely a cooperation of some sort...but why, as the fast runner glanced around, he wondered what she was looking for. Maybe he should get closer...

Cree glanced about himself and spotted an outcropping of rocks nearer the group. He braced himself and leapt up to try and flap over the distance quickly, only he tripped on the take off and instead the flyer ended up tumbling right before the sharpteeth and other such dinosaurs.

"Well that was embarrassing" he said to himself, standing and dusting himself off before he remembered the sharpteeth and nervously glanced up.

"Woah, uh" he flapped up to gain air space once more, "I...uh...wasn't listening or anything and even if I was, I uh, gotta go now..." he debated how to dart off the quickest...

Blue-eyes used his tail to hit the treeseed and knock it over towards the dino closest to him."

Rita caught it. "Misty, it's coming your way!" the girl rex smiled, tossing it the egg snatcher's way.

"Throw it here, throw it here!" Ruby's sister giggled yet again, darting to and fro.

"Yes, it seems like they would be more anxious regarding a lone male," Though it was difficult to admit to herself, Ruby's mom also felt that her mate would be more capable of defending their children, should the need arise. "I will do my best to return quickly, and I-" she jumped slightly as Cree tumbled into their midst. After a brief stunned silence, she realized the flyer was preparing to leave. "Wait, wait one moment!" She addressed him.

Misty rushed over and intercepted the seed, tossing it over to Ruby's sister as the little one jumped about for the seed.

"Uh, no one important" came Cree's hurried answer to Ichy. Against his better judgement he paused as the fast runner called out to him, "W-what do you want me for?" he asked, a part of his mind almost afraid of the answer, "I just told you I wasn't doing anything, look I should probably just get back to hiding before Redclaw comes back" he continued to try and dodge his way out of what he saw as a sticky situation.

Pterano gives a startled yelp as he flies to Cree's assumed aid. He quickly flaps over and lands in front of Cree.
Pterano was shocked to see the that the sharpteeth and fast runners could in fact understand each other, but that wasn't his most immediate concern. He then turned to Cree and asked, "Are you alright?"

Dein turned to face the two flyers and decided not to speak so as not to startle them.

Cree had a shocked look fixed to his face at Pterano's backing him up and even to his own danger; he wasn't sure why it should shock him, perhaps just because off Cree's behavior he couldn't think of anything that warranted this...well maybe the last few hours counted for something, but even so this was quite a leap.

"Uh...well, of course, I had it...completely under control" Cree more than half lied in trying to cover his own fear. His tone gave him away though.

He caught the bellydragger's question. "Look why do you keep asking us that?!" he said, "what do you want to know your food really well before you eat it or something? N-nevermind I am still curious why you've got fast runners just standing here talking to you...". Cree shook his head to try and get back on track, mainly saving their own scales.

"Because they are friends of ours," Dil replied matter-of-factly. "Despite what you may think, sharpteeth can be quite nice, and we don't eat every leafeater we see."

Ruby's sister couldn't seem to stop giggling. It was nice to not think about Redclaw for a while. "Thanks! Chomper, here!" She threw the seed back into play.

"Please, flyers, perhaps you can help us! You see, we were all also hiding from Redclaw." Ruby's mom stated quickly, in hopes of keeping them from fleeing.
