"Just not tired," he replied, washing his face.

Rime was cleaning his rifle in Dr. Zanasiu's room. Two refugees were also asleep on the couch.

Morning came through with the gas still hovering alround the hotel, the light was a sickly yellow . the trumpet sounded signaling the seven am wakeup call. awakingDixie and Cynder.. "Geez" cynder shrugged as she stretched. "That horn is really loud ad annoying..
_ you said it" dixie said, facing her, and getting up out of bed.. "You only got a couple hours of sleep.. no no You go back to sleep.." cynder protested . Dixie gave her a kiss on her snout " Thanks for caring about me.. but I'll be fine" "Come on Dixie, I've tried going without much sleep before.. you need your sleep.. trust me... Look I'll go get you some breakfast and bring it back up to you.. I mean it.. get back under those covers..
- Dixie triecd to move the door by Cynder blocked her way. Scooby and Shaggy both stiorred "time to get up I guess.." shagy stretched " Hey Dixie.. when ydid you get in last night..
_ late.' Cynder replied ' shaggy your her owner, tell her to get back to bed..
_ " cynders right" Shaggy said as Scooby stretched and got out of bed. "Scoob and I will get you something.. Rah, rou ronly rot rwo rours rof reep, rats rot renough"
_ Soon everyone in the room was awake " there was a knock on the door, and Shaggy went over to open it " It was Genki Tiger and Tigeress "So wheres Tigeress' girlfriend? Gemnki smirked.. "Shes still sleeping or at least We're trying to get her to go back to sleep..." shaggy replied..

She does need her sleep" Tigress said waiting as Freddy and Dpahne headed put of the room and headed downstairs. " i'll stay with her Cynder, you go get her something..

Scooby then headed out of the room, with Shaggy. Cynder in turn kissed Dixie on the cheek and followed Spyro out of the room, where they met Hunter on the stairwell.

The Lipizzaners, the NUMA group, Setsuna and the Pelvanida group got out of their rooms and made their way downstairs. Several refugees followed them as well.

"Good morning!" Ms. Swimmer said cheerily.

"Damn it, how do you stay so cheery with so little sleep?" Werner asked groggily.

Haresh, Dr. Kerzach and some chefs from Zemoth's were busy cooking breakfast.

Haresh was putting together a fruit salad from the Great Valley's fruits.

Dr. Kerzach was brewing coffee and several chefs from Zemoth's were preparing pickled herrings.

Dixie Settled back into bed, while Tigress kept an eye on her from the front of the bed.

The Scarecrow and his non meat friends from Oz who didn't need to sleep went into the tardis so they could all talk quietly in the tardis control room so they would not disturb anyone since they didn't need to sleep. They left the door open a a bit so they could hear when people woke up and were more active. Also during the night one or 2 of them would take turns walking around in the hotel to see if anyone needed any help.

Jason and his friends who were sleeping in the tardis awoke and went to start their usual morning routines of getting ready.

fred and Daphne took seats at a nearby table. Gabumon Biyomon and Tentoon sat next to their pasrtners, Palmon was munching on some fruit. "So should we explore the hotel.." He asked the others as Matt came by with some orange juice.

Dr. Kerzach carried out a large platter of fruit salad. "The Great Valley's bounty!" he said.

Hans, Werner and Franz got some plates and began helping themselves to the salad.

Dr. Zanasiu was eating the pickled herrings.

"Where's Mr. Bigmouth?" Rime asked, munching on some tree stars.

"I believe he's monitoring Darren's injuries," Ms. Swimmer replied.

Deimos coughed as he drank some tea. "Darren... he's alive?"

"You know him?"

Deimos nodded. "I do; he's one of my friends from Pelvanida. I didn't think anyone survived that mission they willingly went on,"

Paul and Anton were eating breakfast. Paul was eating some fruit salad and Anton was eating some sausages.

Some waiters were also serving meals to the refugees outside in the main foyer.

We actually saved 3 from that mission " stripetail said to Deimos as he walked up towards the counter to refill his glass. "Each of them had bombs thrown into crates with them, they were bound gagged and beaten when we found them. They were the lucky ones.. Thanks to them we know that we are facing a force of as many as thirty thousand, although it possible there could be more.. If You want to visit with them... by akll means do so..
_ Tigress yawned as she kept an eye on Dixie, the lack of sleep was catching up to her...
- Genki and Tiger got some fruit and headed towards a free seat, which were filling up quickly. cynder carried a tray on her back and made her way down the line.. as Nick Came in with a fresh supply of food.. Food supplies that would normally last for weeks or months were being tapped to feed so many..

"Chong must be planning something," Deimos said with a frown. "From what I've heard of him, killing them would be more in line with his behavior. In any case, I would like to see the three."

"They are in room 652," Ms. Swimmer said.

Deimos got up from the table and headed out of the cafeteria.

At the same time, Mr. Bigmouth entered the dining room. His hands were wet as he had recently washed them. "Darren, Gustav and James are doing quite well. Also, thanks to Hans's seredipitous discovery of the powerful healing capabilities of essential water, they should be perfectly healed by the end of today," he said.

Mr. Bigmouth then went to fetch some fruit salad.

In the kitchen, Haresh and Dr. Kerzach were cooking some hash browns.

"Nick, do we need Ms. Swimmer and Mr. Bigmouth to go on a foraging expedition again?" Dr. Kerzach asked.

Deimos entered Darren's room. The room had a first aid kit on the nightstand and Darren, heavily bandaged was sitting in bed. Gustav and James were reading some books.

"So Darren, how are you feeling?" Deimos asked gently.

"All set?" Mr. Bigmouth asked. He was wearing a messenger bag that a refugee had given to him.

Strut was wearing his custom made backpack.

Ms. Swimmer had found a clean ice chest to store fish in. She was planning to go spearfishing with Ruby and Chomper.

"Let's go," Ms. Swimmer said.

The two then stepped through the portal.

Setsuna was entertaining some refugees with some magical pyrotechnics.

That was if we suceeded though..' Darren said a third of 750 000 is 250000. i'll take it though and give something to families of the others who were killed..

Cynder Piled her p try with food and made her way to the stairs I'm just bringing this food to Dixie.. once shes finishes eating, then i'll rejoin you" She said to Spyro and Hunter " We'll save you a seat Hunter replied, As Bulk and Skull sat down at a nearby table.. "Hey Bulky I wonder If our fiolks know where we are.. "Skull asked as he munched aon a doughnut " Bulk took a huge bite out of a biscuit sandwich " Skull. with that stuff outside we can't leave.. not even the Powerr Rangers could get through that stuff..even in thier suits..

"Nick, remember the Molotov cocktails we used against the Shurlups? If we can get gasoline or some other flammable liquid we can arm the refugees with them," Rime said.

Zachary saluted Nick and went back to the closet. The closet had sacks of potatoes, rice, beans and other staples. He opened a burlap sack containing red beans and inspected it to ensure that it was not moldy.

Dr. Zanasiu entered the freezer and took inventory of the fish.

Dr. Kerzach stuck his head into the back kitchen. "Guys, tell Ms. Swimmer and the forage group that we're running low on fruit," he said.

Jason's friends (except for Sara who was with Tarrax in their room, & maybe Velma who may have slept elsewhere or maybe in the tardis, no idea, met in the console room after they were done getting ready.

"I think we should eat some meals in here. It may seem like we are less friendly maybe, but our eating some or all meals here will help stretch what food the hotel has for the others." Jason said.

"Good idea." Odysseus said.

I"ll be right back. I'll go and see if they need more essential water and see if Sara has filled those out." Jason said. He took out the staff that Stripetail had given him and walked outside the tardis, having the staff float next to him, shrinking its size a bit to fit the limited space better. He then went around to the various places where containers of water were to refill them with essential water, even those that were still mainly full.

Mr. Bigmouth was using his stone hammer and a metal chisel he bought in his messenger bag to extract some of the so-called "juice bark". Several pieces were already in the messenger bag, along with several coconut like fruits.

Some other dinosaurs were assisting him by shaking treestars loose and placing them on leaf sleds.

Strut was in another portion of the Feeding Grounds. He was dragging a leaf sled behind him. The sled was full of berries and tender shoots.

He plucked an orange watermelon-like fruit and placed it on the sled.

Over by the Thundering Falls Lake, several dinosaurs were relaxing. Ms. Swimmer, Ruby and Chomper were gathering fish and other seafood.

Ms. Swimmer speared a large fish with a stone headed lance she borrowed from a nearby guard and tossed it into the ice chest.

Chomper was gathering clams and placing them on a leaf sled.

Ruby was also spearing some fish as well.
