Insane Cafe 3: The Curse of the Haunted Hotel

Once they were handed out and decided who would get what Terry activated his belt and it added a hundred pounds of muscle and changed his clothes to is green ghost costume, including sealing it.  The extreme dinosaurs put on gas masks and they all picked out their weapons.  

Once done Terry activated a digiportal and they exited outside the hotel.  The extreme dinsaurs and the Dynaman team remained close together with Terry as they looked for invaders to fight.

Jason first dropped off the dragonzord under the water then set the tardis down on the area Odysseus had indicated.  They filed out of the tardis which once everyone was outside faded from view since Jason had activated the stealth mode.  

"Let's fan out but stay close." Odysseus said.

Sara's uncle turned himself invisible then went to some nearby rubble to quickly enchant it with a temporary golem spell so some of it could fight any invaders who came nearby.

More of the dragon's rock skin was taken off by the missles that struck it as it flew down into the town, landing on the ground away from everyone else at the moment, stepping forward some as the ground shook beneath its feet.

Eevee giggled some "Um, I found these" she spoke, stepping aside to reveal some berries, sticks, leaves, fruit and what have you "Are they any good?"

"It's going well actually" Marcel spoke back, looking to what was loaded at the moment "I'm making sure nothing goes wrong as well, can never be too careful"

[Serris]

"Excellent," Haresh said. "Eevee, do you have anything to carry your goods in?"

Haresh then tossed the edible bark in the messenger bag.

A refugee with a basket containing what looked like potatoes passed by on his way back to camp.

A chef from Zemoth's uprooted a peanut-like plant and shook off the dirt before he started cutting the edible nuts that grew underground.

The Dachshund nodded and started stacking up the arrows that Clive and some of the couriers had carried from the Great Valley.

Another refugee returned from the great valley with a metal bucket filled with sling stones. He placed that aside.

A Cobalt soldier entered. "Someone hand us a belt of .50 caliber ammo!" he barked.

Mr. Bigmouth fired off his last magazine and switched to using his charged arrows. His first shot blew apart a Dragonstorm mage.

The enemy squad thinned considerably with the help of the helicopter gunship but they were running low on ammunition and a fair number of archers and SPVDF troopers were dead.

"Bulk! Skull! Get in! I'll take you back to help me get more ammo!" the Bull trucker shouted. He shot an oncoming Dragonstorm soldier in the head as he ran to the next door parking lot (shielded from the battle by the abandoned buildings) where he had parked his truck.

The troodon went around the hotel to see if there were any folks he'd need to help with, being a doctor.  Then he went to the great valley to see about things there, and curious also about how dinosaurs that were not in dinotopia were like.

Both Myra and Roze continued to go at it, neither of them seeming to give in as they exchanged attacks before stopping, both in a stance, ready to attack once more "You don't have to do this Roze" Myra spoke up first.

Roze left off a small scoff "Listen to yourself, you sound just like everyone else who attempted to stop me, just from saying a few words....and of course, it failed for them, failed misserably"

The dragon let off another loud roar that echoed down the streets as some soldiers appeared in an attempt to stop the dragon, only for the dragon to swipe its tail at them, killing all but for one, to which the dragon turn and bit down upon him, ripping him in half.

"Um...." Eevee begun as she looked around "I have this thing here, a really, really, really big leaf thing" she added in, showing him a rather large leaf, to which she soon, put her stuff onto it and started to drag it off, well, dragging it the best she could, not really getting far by dragging it either.

[Serris]

"That'll do," Haresh said, knocking down some ripe sweet bubbles with precisely aimed bursts of fire.

Several more Cobalt soldiers arrived. Most of them needed extra ammunition but one of them had been shot.

Dr. Kerzach dealt with the casualty. "We've got a soldier with a gunshot wound to the left thigh!" he shouted.

"Marcel! Deal with the soldiers who need ammo. I'll fetch some more arrows and stones!" Clive said.

bulk and skull threw a few stones, then decided that they were not cut out for warfare, and took off towards the truck, diving into the bed of the truck
Spyro and Cynder knocked down a number of surface to air missiles..
 after  about 5 hours of fighting, it evident that the defenders were holding their ground,
agumon and Agumina had digivolved to their champion forms and were holding back an ene,y squad with repeated fire blasts..

The dragon was now making its way through the city on foot, destroying buildings in the process as well as killing what defenders it had come across, some of its mechanical inner-workings was seen on its chest from the missing rock skin.

Eevee grunted some as she continued to try and drag the leaf along the ground, not getting that far either.

Marcel gave a nod back as he headed over to where the ammo was stored, grabbing what was needed as he handed it over to whoever actually needed the ammo.

over in the shopping District, Nick was shooting it out with a Dragonstorm group from inside the mall, which was one of the few buildings still in relatively good shape. Scooby and Dixie used their rings to send spells into the midst of the enemy lines. return fire deflected harmlessly off of their magic armor.. "rhis ris rot run1" scobby panted as he threw another fireball..

More soldiers ran through the streets to stop the assult of the dragon, firing at it with a few rockets, causing some more of the rock skin to fall off the dragon, revealing some more of its mechanical workings.  It swung its tail around and sent a nearby bus flying at the group with a roar of anger, the bus in turn, slamming into the group of soldiers, killing them instantly.

The Bull trucker sped through the streets.

A Dragonstorm mage tried to use her telekinesis powers to stop the truck but the trucker simply accelerated and ran the mage over, killing her instantly.

He sped through the battle ravaged streets, passing by a squad of SPVDF soldiers hiding in a ditch who threw Molotovs and shot at a small squad of mages. Several of the mages had been ignited by the burning turpentine but in the process of extinguishing themselves, their concentration lapsed, allowing some snipers in the nearby buildings to kill them.

"Medical team!" Dr. Kerzach shouted. He was trying to stop the bleeding on the soldier's wound.

The soldiers hastily reloaded and left the hotel.

----------------------

The explosive stones killed some more members of the Dragonstorm squad.

A final volley of rockets from the friendly gunship blasted the remnants of the squad to pieces.

The gunship headed back to Telson AFB to rearm and another allied helicopter joined its place.

Mr. Bigmouth looked at his quiver of charged arrows. "That's that," he said with a sigh. His body ached with the effort of repeatedly firing the charged arrows.

He looked around him. His squad of 200 soldiers had managed to eliminate a platoon of 500 troops, metal and normal. But at the cost of losing 150+ men.

Another enemy squad marched through the road outside the building where Setsuna and the mages were located.

Several explosions ripped through the air as the squad detonated the magic bombs that Setsuna left. Several dead bodies and a burning APC were left scattered on the road.

Suddenly a tremendous blast shook the building as a mortar shell struck the roof.

Setsuna staggered to her feet. She cast reflection and confused an enemy soldier causing him to shoot at his allies.

chong frowned as he continued pushing into Surf point, things were not going as planned ' Mr goat, a list of fatalities please,, we're losing a lot of men..' he scowled ' that damned squirrell... i underestimated him..' chong muttered to himself

Sara continued to fly support on the part of town where she was, adding support and attacking any flying enemies she saw with fire or spells, or sometimes both.

The extreme dinosaurs fought together, using their Saurian Stomp to make  a local earthquake and one that opened the earth beneath some attackers, as well as using their guns and special abilities.  Including Bullseye's sonic attack yell.

Sara's uncle continued to enchant some ruble and trees.  He took some weapons from dead soldiers and put them into trees and some other places, giving them the ammo belts so they could shoot at attackers if they came into range.

Jason and Growlmon fought enemy troops together using distance attacks.  

The Dynaman power ranger team fought together, combining their weapons at one point.

Odysseus used a bow, made by dwarves and requiring higher then normal strength to draw and use it.  he would shoot and change position, so the enemies were not sure where the attack was coming from or how many troops they were fighting.  Similar tactics he as Littlejohn and Robin used along with their merry men centuries ago.   The Bow was magical, among other things it could shrink to pocket size.

One section of the town was already wiped clean of defenders thanks to the dragon, its mechanical workings were now seen on its chest area, the only area where its rock skin had fallen off.

The mechanical workings of the dragon had a pulse of pulse energy within it as well as it roared, its roar echoing through the streets again as its tail slammed down upon an approaching truck before grabbing it with its claws and slowly, but surely, managed to rip the whole truck in half.

Meanwhile, both Myra and Roze had taken their little fight to the sky next, exchanging blasts still, Myra getting a bit weaker as well.

The imps however, looked at Jusa, some were dancing as some readied their attacks and threw their little fireballs at her.

a large husky rushed over to tend to the wounded soldier ' we need to evacuate the wounded as soon as possible " He said, applying a tourniquet to the injured leg,
Stripetail knocked another solider backwards causing him to falll several sttories. another mortar shell struck the building and cracks began to appear in the ceiling
- Time to go" stripetail said as he made his way down the stairs he had created a shield that caused enemy fire to be deflected away from him.. ' we will need time to rest and regroup..' stripetail said  he tapped his wrist 'Everyone! Come in
- we're here' Dixie replied..we're hanging in there
0 stitch and angel were busy fighting enemies in thier section of town.. stitch grabbed a gun from and enemy and bent it rendering the gun useless.

The Goat gunned down a SPVDF soldier who tried to grenade the group.

"I think we've lost about 3,000 men," he said. "But last I heard, one of our gunships killed a squad of roughly 250 men before it was bought down by a drone."

A Predator drone painted the stone dragon with a laser designator and launched two anti tank missiles at it from nearly a mile away.

Clive placed a bundle of arrows in the proper location and radioed Stripetail. "Commander! We have no more charged arrows!" he said.

Ms. Swimmer's squad snuck through Surf Point. Several of her dinosaurs were were dead and she was covered in bruises and scratches and she was fatigued. She and several of her "commandos" were covered the blood of the enemy soldiers they had slain.

"We'll need to head back!" a Runner with a bloodied piece of rebar said.

Ms. Swimmer nodded. "We do need to keep up our energy.

"There's too many!" Dr. Zanasiu shouted, throwing a grenade at the metal soldiers. The group had blasted many of the soldiers to scrap metal but even with the assistance of a Predator drone there were too many.

"Retreat!" Zachary shouted.

The group piled into the Humvee and sped towards the hotel.

jusa parried the attacks as best she could '' this is not going well she thought' as she rolled to avoid another fire blast..
- we;re here' cynder reported in as she and spyro flew towards the mechanical dragon
 we're fine.. well sort of ' Tiger replied a bit tersely.

Setsuna sent another parting fireball as she dashed away from the window.

The sound of helicopter blades could be heard outside the ruined hotel. Stripetail's radio crackled. "Commander Stripetail, this is WildFire we are providing cover. Over,"

"How can wildfire help us?" Setsuna asked. A bullet bounced off her reflector.

Four members of the SPVDF rushed in carrying a seriously wounded Bison soldier. He in turn was followed by some more SPVDF soldiers, some of which were cut and bruised. But others, carried by their companions were  were seriously injured.

"Take the injured to the Great Valley!" Dr. Kerzach ordered.

The dragon roared as it was struck by missiles, more or its rock skin falling off as well, revealing even more of its mechanical workings as it moved down a street, out of the way to where it found the attacks had come from.

The streets in question were rather clear, well, except for the dead bodies lying around.  One wounded soldier attempted to crawl away....only to be stepped on by the dragon as it continued to walk down the street.

The dragon looked up into the sky to see a gunship flying around, ready to be locked onto the dragon, only to have a car thrown at it, the gunship loosing its engines as it spiraled to the ground, crashing into a nearby building.

get back to the hotel1 You've fought valiantly, but we need to rest and treat our injured' Stripetail radioed back. ass captain milos made his way towards him. he was limping slightly ' out of bullets and outnumbered by ten to one.. things are going bad.. eh wizard..'
 actually we're holding out pretty well, but we need to get rearmed and get treatment to our injured..we also need to measure our losses.. which will likely be pretty high..
 nick shot and enemy solider with the last of his ammo and turned to scooby and dixie ' lets get back to the hotel...Both Great Danes nodded they wee getting tired, and drained from using so much magic..
 return to the beach!" chong waved his hands.. ' a brief respite then back into the breach..'
