The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Cyrix smiled at Petries' enthusiasm. He then began the story,
"Long ago when the bright night circle was high in the sky, many said that a flyer with no fear flew throughout the land...watching over other plant eaters and making sure they were safe. Some believe the flyer had magical powers...others thought he was just a normal flyer...but the one thing that made him a true hero was when he stopped a smoking mountain from blowing its top!"

He took a breath and continued, "The night it happened...they say the flyer knew that those near the mountain were in danger, and he flew to the mountain as fast as he could...and when he got there the mountain had already started to spit firewater and much of the land was on fire. Some say it was the wind...others believe it was him who did this next trick, but all he did was breath as if he were trying to blow a leaf on a tree....and the fires disappeared! Then they say with a flap of his wing the firewater on the smoking mountain was pushed out of his way as he climbed to the very top...and without blinking an eye, or even thinking about it...he jumped in diving down, down, down into the fire water below."

Cyrix smiled as he came to the end of his story.
"Although this story is told from many different views...everyone agrees this is what happened in the end...that the flyer's spirit and heart were so strong to protect those in the lands below the mountain that the firewater and the smoking mountain vanished as if they had never ever been there...and to this day, others say that the flyer with no fear still flies these very same skies watching over all of us...to make sure we are safe and happy."

Terri had to admit...the story was exciting...even if it was about a leaf eater.

"Ooh...me no know a flyer could be that great! I mean, me know they probably rule world at beginning, but that 'nother thing" he smiled and shrugged.

"They did what now?" Cory asked. "Um, me tell you other time" Petrie said.

"But, the flyer ended up ok right? I mean, he came out of the smoking mountains again right?" Kit asked, trying to figure out the last bit.

"Well if he's a not live ghost thingy I don't think it matters" Cory said.

"I don't know if a Flyer like that one could even exist... but that sure is inspiring." - Rhamphy said, his two different coloured eyes shining brightly.

Trod leaned back after hearing the story. - "That sure sounds great. Imagine to have the chance to meet someone like him."

"That is a good story, sad ending, but a good story, it is, it is." Ducky said nodding.

"You are right Ducky, it has a sad ending... but imagine all the inspiration that Flyer gave to all the dinosaurs that got to see what happened and for the ones that were told as this will turn into a legend." - Trod said cheerily.

"Even sad things can have good effects on others," Chomper said, then turned to his folks.

"<Your turn to tell the story dad.>"

Ducky nods, <You are right, you are.> She said.

"Yeah, maybe someday me be that great" Petrie couldn't help thinking. As he said this out loud though, Kit frowned, "Oh no you don't, I wouldn't dare let you or Twiz do something dangerous like that!" she said with a frown.

Cory grinned over at the two flyers, "See...what I tell ya, girls related to you always ruin your fun, it's a fact of life, like me and my sisters, but now let's listen to Mr. Chomper's dad's story!" he waited anxiously for what the big sharptooth had to tell.

"Well, I am not as crazy as some Runners believe I am, but I would be happy to be able to solve problems without sacrificing myself." - Rhamphy said as last comment before turning his face to Chomper's father.

Trod smiled. - "It is good to know that Rhamphy." - he looked back at Chomper's father as well. - "<I think we are all looking forward for any story you may want us to tell mister.>"

Dein walked to a middle and began speaking: "I am going to tell you the story of how I had to cross great mountain range." he cleared his throat "It was a long time ago, before I've met Terri." he give his mate a little smile "At that time I was wandering with a group of fastbiters and... and..." In this moment he felt a slight pain in his chest, but he continued his story.  "...one other sharptooth. We were tracking a huge herd of leafeaters, but they had the adventage over us and using a shortcut thrugh the mountains was the only way...." The pain in his chest became stronger and his heart was throbbing quickly "It was the only way..." He also had head rush "The only way to ca..." he did not finish his sentence as he fell to the ground, blacking out...

Terri gave a momentary roar of fear as she stepped over to her mate and nudged him with her snout, hoping he'd open his eyes. When he didn't she began to panic.
"Chomper I need you to find some of those orange leaves that taste like fire...those should help like last time hurry!"

Cyrix looked up and asked, "Is there anything we can do to help ma'am?"

"Yeah" Kit added, frowning worriedly. "If not we could fly to find some more" Twiz offered, also hoping the leaves Chomper had brought would work.

Out of the many leaves Chomper brought back Terri could see the ones that would be needed. She picked them up and placed them out of the way of the children as she raised her foot and stepped on them revealing the gooey mess under her foot, however not having time to think Terri licked up the goo and turned to face Dein and said to her mate. "Open your mouth...please." She then turned to the children and asked, "Please help me get his mouth open."
