"I'm not sure, but I hope it isn't" Dr. Zanasiu said readying his shotgun. He also looked around the room for anything that could be pressed into service as a weapon or a distraction.

Alfred and Zachary readied their weapons too.

Magneto was now outside the lab. He tried the door only to found out that it jammed shut.

He gave the door a tug with his magentokinetic abilities and found out that it was indeed magnetic. He pointed at the door and concentrated, his body crackled with lightning as he did so. The powerful magnetic fields from his hands were slowly but steadily pulling the steel door out of the wall. The sounds of wrenching steel were heard through out the room.

"Damn it! It's coming!" Zachary whispered. He was crouched behind a heavy lab bench.

Everyone else took cover behind anything that was nearby.

"How's that thing coming in?!" Aiko was stunned as he hid behind a table near his workshop.

"It must have some kind of electromagnetic control!" Dr Joe replied from the office.

"Something tells me bullets won't stop it easily," Feral growled under his breath.

"If it is electrokinetic as well, shorting it out may incapacitate the experiment, giving us time to kill it or run away." Zachary said.

"How are we going to do that? Run up to it and jam a piece of metal into it?" Alfred asked.

"That may work but the electric current will flow through the piece of metal, through you and into the ground, killing you in the process."

Dr. Zanasiu thought a moment. "Remember when we shorted out Cale using saline? Even ordinary tap water contains enough solute to conduct a substantial current. Failing that, dissolve some sort of soluble salt in some water. Strong bases and acids will also work, in addition to causing tissue damage and being irritants, they are also strong electrolytes due to the free ions."

"Get to the point." Zachary grumbled. "No time for a lecture."

Dr. Zanasiu sighed. "Find something that's an acid or a base or something that has a salt."

"Wait, if he can control magnetic fields, could be trick him to attracting something dangerous, like a piece of steel?" Alfred asked.

"Great, and it's only 2 more months before I get my own electromagnetic coil gun..." Aiko muttered.

Aiko's words lingered in Dr Joe's mind as an idea popped up. "Hey guys!" she called out. "Take the metal tables and make a channel in front of the door! Its powers will make the tables magnetic! With that, we can use Alfred's idea of sending a sharp steel piece at it!"

"We'll make a railgun out of it with his powers!" Aiko responded with excitement.

"Technically, it's more of a coilgun." Dr. Zanasiu said "But it will work. And the projectile will only accelerate if the coils are magnetized and demagnetized in a pattern: one coil attracts the projectile, that coil turns off, next coil attracts the projectile and so on."

Zachary and Alfred each picked up one of the tables and aligned them perpendicular to the door. They repeated their actions until a channel aimed at the door was made with the steel tables.

Dr. Zanasiu looked at the heavily damaged steel door. "We don't have much time."

"What if this guy can control his powers at will? Like he can vary the strength of his magnetic fields or even turn them off?" Zachary asked.

"In that case we'll try and provoke him into using his powers then we'll throw a magnetic object at him."

Alfred went to the utility closet and removed a large crowbar and placed it in the middle of the channel.

Vic, Aiko, & Feral helped in creating the channel of tables, and then took up positions behind other desks set up for them and the others. Snow went to the office and stood next to Dr Joe, whom now is hidden from sight of the doorway.

"In order for him to keep us from shooting him, he'll have to use his powers up the channel to get the guns," Dr Joe stated over the noise of the screeching metal. "In theory, it should work!"

Magneto had now torn the door out of the wall. He magnetically held it in front of himself like a shield while his right hand was covered with a ball of electricity.

"Come out and play." he taunted.

Alfred popped up from behind a table and fired a single round at Magneto. "Come a little closer!" He the ducked behind a table.

He quickly moved the door to ward off the shotgun blast and sent a bolt of lightning soaring over the table.

Zachary also fired a short burst then ducked back down.

Before Feral even turned to call Snow for assistance, the former experiment joined the fray and sent forth a blast of fire at the Dragonstorm monster, aiming it low at his legs...

Feral & Aiko took the opportunity to send a lethal spray of gunfire at the experiment, most of which ricochet off the creature's only defense. Vic reached into his bag and took out an odd object, and then fitted it right on the muzzle of his gun...

Aisha joinee the fray unleashing a lorrent of bullets from her gun. the door was now riddled with bullet holes.. but she kept firing..

Magneto held the heavily damaged door in front of himself, blocking Snow's flamethrower attack. The door glowed red with the heat and started to soften. He fired a lightning bolt at Snow. A short burst from Zachary grazed him.

"Give me those guns!" Magneto shouted. He gestured and tried to soon everyone felt the powerful tug of Magneto on their weapons.

"Alfred! Go!" Zachary shouted.

Alfred grabbed the crowbar and aimed it like a rifle. As soon as he felt the pull of the intense magnetic field he let go, sending the crowbar hurtling towards Magneto.

Aisha struggled against the pull Magneto was exterting on her gub.. DR Landon called out to her. "Let him have it.." "I'm going to" as she saifd this she saw Alfred's release of the crowbar.. Inwardm, she grinned.. that was a good move..

Zachary's great strength was no match for Magneto's pull. He fired off a short burst and then let go of his rifle.

Alfred let go of his shotgun and threw a fire extinguisher at Magneto.

Magneto moved the door to deflect the rifle fire but he left part of body exposed and the and the crowbar crashed into his side, staggering him. He moved the door to deflect Zachary's rifle and used his other hand to magnetically deflect Alfred's shotgun by the fire extinguisher crashed into his head, dazing him.

Get him while he;s stunned!" Aisha said, opening fire with renewed vigor. the blow had weakened the pull on the gun long enough for her to gain control of it fully.

The lightning bolt grazed Snow's left shoulder and she fell to the side, a clear black mark of singed fur through her equally blackened jacket. Dr Joe quickly ran up to grab her and pull her behind a desk.

Aiko couldn't hold on to his gun as it slipped out of his grip. But he quickly drew his sidearm and started firing.

Vic held on long enough to put the object on his gun, and when the magnetic pull weakened, he raised his weapon and aimed. The object was a newly created door-breaching explosive designed to be fired from any assault rifle. "Fire in the hole!" he shouted, and fired...

As the bullet flew towards Magneto, A blast of electrical energy enveloped it, forming a glowing field around it.

"Heh...Sorry we're late, guys!"
"That we are. We were...rendered unconscious by the crash."
"...Apologies, everyone."
"My apologies for being late, sirs"
"Snow! Are you okay?"
"Did we miss the party?"

Standing nearby were Cale, Slash, Kagetora, Hawkeye, Neku, and Agito...

Alfred and Zachary, having used their guns to stun Magneto, started throwing everything they could reach at him. Chairs, tools, desks and even pencils went flying towards him.

The grenade struck the door, destroying his shield. His magnetic powers prevented most of the shrapnel from getting near him. The shrapnel was quickly accelerated to bullet like velocity by his powers and sent towards Aiko and Dr. Zanasiu. However the shockwave and heat staggered him.

Dr. Zanasiu ducked behind the table as the shrapnel flew towards him. He was lightly cut by the shrapnel though.

Magneto dove behind table as Aiko's burst of fire headed his way. In the process, he narrowly avoided geting hit with a heavy wooden chair thrown by Zachary.

Aisha reloaded her gun, with the last round of ammo, and kept firing. ' So whats the plan of escape!" She said.. looking at ZAchary.. I'm all ears!"

"Alright, guys! Let us have our shots!"
Cale yelled, facing the new experiment and forming his glass sword and shield...

"He's right. We should've been more careful getting out of that crash. Now, we'll make it up to you guys"
Slash said, small gashes forming in things close to him...

"Target identified. Dragonstorm: Magneto. We'll eliminate him."
Kagetora said, drawing his blades...

"Sir, you are officially relieved of combat!"
Hawkeye exclaimed, cannon arm ready...

"Let's party!"
Agito cackled, spikes shooting from the ends of his sleeves...
