the party followed

Jake was running a lot faster than Rex

The party ran to a small hole in the ground, barely big enough for the party to go down one at a time. That was where they had taken her.

The party went down the hole, one at a time. They went through a tunnel. Rhiga snuck up on the sentry who was stationed at the entrance of the tunnel, and stabbed him through the throat.

The adventurers then went into the main hall, where the tribe of kobolds were gathered. There were hundreds of them.

"A Distraction may be needed." Kravik whispered, thinking of what sorts of creatures he could summonthat would be a distraction.

"I could do a spell to increase someoen's strength." Sivar whispered as an idea she had.

Sasha was tied to the altar, with her garments removed. The kobolds priest was preparing an incantation, and a servant was seen sharpening a dagger.

Sivar nodded and cast the bull's strength on Rex to increase his strength. She figured the 6 minute duration of the spell should be enough, she hoped.

"We need a distraction." Adykon said. "I, Rex, and Jake will sneak over to the left of the kobolds. The rest of you, cause a distraction on the right. When the kobolds move to get you, the three of us will move in and rescue Sasha."

In the background, a male and female Red Dragon pair slumbered.

Kravik cast the highest level summon monster spell he knew, not liking to show off he usually used weaker ones. He aimed the spell so it would appear away from where the party was, just within the limits of the range he could cast it, about 30 feet away, summoning an 8 foot tall fire elemental.

The elemental distracted the kobolds, who were in a panic to stop it, or run from it. Some of them thought that it was created because of what they were doing to Sasha, and the assistants fled from the altar. This gave Jake, Adykon, and Rex the chance to fight. Adykon attacked the head kobold shaman, while Rex and tried to hold off any kobolds who might attack. Meanwhile, Jake went to rescue Sasha.

Sivar getting the idea from Kravik summoning the medium fire element Summoned some celestial giant fire beetles off to one side, to try to add to the distraction.

Adykon drew his sword and attacked the shaman, who, seeing the summoned creatures, got the idea to summon a couple of fire sprites himself.

Kravik cast an overland flight spell on himself so if he need he could add flight to gain air advantage in the battle.

Sivar cast a searing light into a mass of Kobolds hoping the bright light would temporaly blind and or stun some of them to add to the confusion.
