Spike was using his sniffer to smell for survivors, and so were Ducky, Renn, and Aurelia.
"Hehe, this reminds me of when we sniffed for water, yep yep yep," Ducky giggled.
"Huh? Oh, yeah! Then we found the water and got to enjoy it, even though it was brief," Spike reminisced. "Hey! I think I'm starting to smell...starting to smell...oh, uh, burnt treesweets." Ducky gave Spike a cross look.
"Spike! How can you even think about food right now?!" Ducky scolded.
"Now, now, Ducky. He's just trying to help. Ain't that right, man?" Renn said in hopes of dissolving a conflict before it starts.
"You're right," replied Spike. Ducky stepped over to Spike and embraced him.
"I am sorry, Spike. You did not deserve that, no no no. I am getting hungry too, and it is starting to make me feel bad. It is, it is," Ducky whispered.
"It's okay, Ducky. No harm done," Spike said with a smile. The group continued to walk on.
"I do wonder what we will do about food, yep yep yep," Ducky said to herself.
