Twiz gave a small smile, "Hey, come on now" he gave Azure a hug, trying to cheer her up, "it's going to be ok". He'd been about to say he promised but...didn't really want to promise in case something did go wrong.

Little Flip also walked over and gave his mom's foot a hug, trying to follow what his dad was doing and cheer her up.

Azure smiled at both her mate and her young son as they tried to console her. She then giggled and said in response, "Alright boys...you win, come on lets go searching for some survivors."

Longtail stopped walking at the sound of Spikes voice and gave a wide and almost too happy grin as he said, "YES! And Cera...I know there is someone here you are going to want to see!"

"Did you hear that?! I think Longtail found Tricia, yep yep yep!" Ducky squealed in excitement.

"Aw, man! I hope it's her!" Renn added. Spike nodded in agreement as Aurelia turned to Cera.

"Did ya hear him? Longtail may have found your sister!" Aurelia said in excitement.

"and I don't think he'd have said that if he hadn't found her" Petrie added. He didn't say it, but he knew it was because no one wanted to unduly get Cera riled up.

"Oh I do hope so" Kit said as they followed along, "Say where'd Twiz and Azure get too?" she wondered. "Oh I saw Twiz trying to convince her to come a ways back, you know she's not use to adventures and all" Petrie said, "she and the others always just stayed near the nest".

Longtail stopped walking as he came upon a patch of leaves on the ground. He looked back at his friends and turned to face them, he then cleared his throat and proudly proclaimed, "And together we can help those who cannot help themselves...HEY TRICIA! Come on out here!"

Immediately after that the Cera's younger sister stepped out of the bushes and smiled as she saw faces she recognized, and quickly ran over to Cera and began to nuzzle her older sister. "I missed you so much!" she cried out.

Petrie smiled, extremely glad to see that Tricia was ok. Kit was too. They let Cera have her moment of private, to greet her sister, though.

"I am so glad Tricia is okay, yep yep yep," Ducky said in a cheerful manner. Renn and Spike nodded in agreement. Aurelia watched the two reunited sisters. She was happy to see at least one of Cera's family members had survived.

Longtail smiled as Cera and Tricia were reunited...but another smell caught his nose and he turned and rushed into the bushes and after a few moments gave a cry of joy unlike he'd felt in his life.

Pearl looked over at her mate as he disappeared into the bushes and was curious as to what he'd found that would cause him such happiness.

However when Longtail stepped back through the bush he could be seen with tears in his eyes, and his wings folded as if he were carrying something, and indeed in his wings were two of his little hatchlings both crying as well at finally finding their father after all the danger.

As he made his way over once more with Azure and Flip, Twiz looked startled, but gladly so to see Cera and Tricia (for the first he glimsed) embracing. "She's ok" he said, "well that is a relief".

Petrie smiled at his sister, Azure, "Especially after all the trouble we went through to pull her out of the fast water on the Day of the Flyers" he said, before realizing that that came out all wrong, "Uh...nevermind" he wilted a bit.

Cera remained silent as she reached down to nuzzle her sister. "Tricia..." was all she managed to croak as she forgot her normally tough exterior and let tears flow freely.

"If Tricia made it, perhaps their parents made it too, yep yep yep," said Ducky. She was, however, not about to ask Tricia if she had seen her and Cera's parents. Not after all the little threehorn had been through.

Pearl immediately rushed over and hugged both her mate and her children.
"I...I'm so happy to see you two..." she cried aloud.

Longtail smiled as he looked down at Pearl and said in reply,
"They are lucky to have such good friends looking after them. Thank you Tricia, we owe you much more than you think."

Aurelia, Ducky, Renn, and Spike all approached Cera and Tricia.

"I am so glad you are okay, yep yep yep. How in the world did you survive that mess?" Ducky asked as she gently embraced Tricia.

A voice answered Ducky's question.
"I believe I can help you with that..."

Longtail and pearl both turned and faced the owner of the voice and smiled as they recognized the dinosaur who had spoken.

"Uncle Cyrix....it is so good to see you." commented Longtail with a tear in his eye as he now knew his Uncle was safe after this horrible event.

Cyrix continued to speak.
"It was a horrible moment when I realized that something was wrong...and then I knew that we had to seek shelter, and that's what we did. When I noticed your young hatchlings crying in fear I did what I could to ensure their safety...b-but I'm sorry...these two were the only ones to be saved..out of your original twelve."
