The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Ask a question, get an answer!

My coworkers and I are going out for pizza after we all get off work, and it will a double celebration due to my roommate and I sharing a birthday :yes.  I have just received some presents from back home, and my biological family sent a card with all their signatures accompanied by a stuffed animal of a Snowy Owl (my brothers and sisters picked it out).  It really is cute, and now I have to think of a name for (I decided its a) him :DD.

Besides the recent incident involving the fish hook, :x any news on how Max has been lately, health-wise? I remember you being concerned about a potential tumor the vet had found on him.

Thanks for your concern :).  I keep hearing that he's doing fine.  Not a thing has changed about him, including his eagerness for walks and, of course, food :p.  He even continues to be a "counter surfer", which is a dog that sneaks into the kitchen and swipes bread, cookies, or anything else that has been left on the counter and only leaves the packaging behind.  Worse, he's taught Pepper how to be a counter surfer :rolleyes.

Will you be posting any more LBT fanart soon? :)

Owls are cool. ^^

When it comes to money, do you usually tend to be a major spender, a saver, or somewhere in between?

Most of the time I tend to be a saver.  We did not have much income wen I was growing up, so I was taught things like looking for sales, using coupons and even bargaining in some cases (garage sales, for example ;)).  Even when I travel, I'm more wise about souvenirs and only pick out meaningful ones, since I'd rather spend money doing adventurous activities or trying out local foods and drinks ;).

I tend to be a bigger spender on Christmas and birthday presents for loved ones.  I like giving presents that are meaningful and not just fads :yes.

What kinds of wildlife do you most enjoy seeing or watching in Yellowstone?

I have no favorites since I like wildlife in general, so it's very hard for me to single out any particular species .  I'm still on the search for Gray wolves, though.  I've heard them at night but I have yet to see these guys :).

This may be a little strange, but I had some questions about the idea you posted in my “Ask Me” thread
the idea you posted in my “Ask Me” thread about a thread for the funniest or wittiest things members have said or heard in real life:

First, do you think such a thread would be best placed in the Party Room, the Fridge, or the After Midnight section?

Second, any suggestions or preferences for what it should be called? I was thinking “Real-Life Comedy (The funniest things you've said or heard)” or “The Funniest Things You've Said or Heard (Quips and conversations from real life)”.

Third, do you think such a thread should also invite members to share amusing personal stories, or be specifically limited to quotes?

P.S. Congratulations on finally seeing some wolves! :D

Okay, I think I finally have an answer :p!

1.  I think the Party Room would be okay, provided members keep quotes/stories at an appropriate level and keep the censorship rules in mind :angel.

2.  “The Funniest Things You've Said or Heard (Quips and conversations from real life)” sounds like agood title :yes.

3.  I think amusing stories should be allowed.  It's a funny thread, why not :lol?

Been awhile since I asked you a question. :)

So I know you have a sweet tooth, what is your favorite sweet treat? Or do you have more then one favorite?

Also, I overheard the news at yellowstone park. Are you and the other guides there okay?

I have a lot of favorite sweet treats, and I'll go with what my tastebuds are craving at the time :lol.  My most recent addition to my sweets list is the huckleberry milkshake.  I've grown quite fond of huckleberry products this summer :p.

Yup, the others and myself are all okay :yes.

The only stupid question is the question not asked ;).

As for pet peeves, mine include:

*When folks don't use their common sense.
*Parents who don't discipline their kids and let them be out of control.
*Mean people.
*Mosquitoes :rolleyes.
*Debt.

What would you say is the scariest wildlife encounter you've ever had?

I had this question hanging over my head for awhile, so I wanted to ask now.

Did you move to Wyoming? Or are you just there for the summer?
