The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Little Foot then responded, "Also, if you look over here, there are some families with their kids. Then over there," Little Foot pointed with his nose. "There is the bubbling mud if you want to relax."

Seeing Rick and Sam enjoying the sweet treats he also said, "If you guys like those, you probably would like to go to the west of the valley and find some tree stars."

"Not right now littlefoot I'd rather see the rest of the valley first,' sam said.

Anna could not have felt more nervous.  Surely, Mr. Threehorn would see her as a real quack if she told him she was from the future.  She then thought of the fact that threehorn fossils have only been found in western parts of America, not eastern parts.  With that in mind, she spoke up.

"Well, I come from a place far, far east of here in a land my kind call America," she answered, still worried she was in for it.  Anna did not like fighting unless it's a last resort, and she certainly did not like confrontation.

"Oh okay..." Little Foot felt a little embarrassed for having his suggestion turned down.

"Then, let's go this way, the thundering falls is over there." Little Foot motioned for the others to follow him.

"What is "America"? I never in my life heard of a land like that." Mr. Three Horn raised a brow.

"I'm not sure how to explain it.  I believe dinosaurs here would see it as part of the Mysterious Beyond.  My kind tend to give places names in order to identify which part of the world we come from.  I don't think dinosaurs are too familiar with the names we call places.  That's probably why you've never heard of it," Anna replied.

Grandpa Longneck smiled, "Ah, Bron is here.  I'm sure Littlefoot will want to know so he can spend time with his father and Shorty." He said.  "Finding Littlefoot can be a bit difficult since his friends and he like to play and run around a lot, as any young one does."

"Maybe we go play at Thundering falls." Petrie said.

"So...humans live all over the world, but where your from it a place called Colorado. You live in houses, and drive cars and our able to eat both meat and plants.....does that mean you would eat other dinosaurs" asked Chomper naively.

Drew looked stunned at the question, as he laughed "Ha ha!! No way!! Do I look like I even have the teeth to do something like that". He leaned down in front of chomper as he flashed his teeth whilst crossing his eyes, making a funny face.

Chomper giggled at the face, as he siad "No, I guess not. Heh heh".

Drew sighed, as he said "Sorry i didnt tell you earlier, I didnt even know that I could switch back and forth between dino and human". He didnt want Chomper to think that there was another friendly sharptooth, when...we'll there kinda was".

Chomper smiled as he waved "Aw, its alright. I'm not mad at you, and you did tell me the truth. You still want to meet my friends".

Drew nodded, but thought "I wonder if I'm the only human here at the moment". Before he could think any further on the subject, Chompre started tugging at one of his arms. "C'mon, there all probably gonna be at the thundering falls. That's where most of them like to go when they want to swim and relax, or just all around play". Getting in front, he grinned "C'mon, I'll race ya there in a game of tag".

Drew became uncomfertable at the idea, as he said "That's kid stuff, I'm uhh...kinda old to play a game like tag, and besides what if someone else sees me doing that". He couldnt think any further, as Chomper tagged him and laughed Tag.

Chomper ran as he dissappered into the brush ahead.

Smiling, Drew said "Aw, what the hell. Your going down Sharptooh". With that, he bolted after him out into the great valley, and towards the thundering falls.

"What would you like to do now, Spike?" asked Ducky.

_______________

In the meantime, Anna was trying to stay ahead of Mr. Threehorn by thinking of what he would ask next.  She had been certain he would've asked her a simple question, such as what business she had being in the valley.  To ask where she came from was a tough one to answer.  She knew he was stubborn and concrete in his views of strangers, and to attempt to explain to him she was from the future would certainly seal his view of her as a quack.

Mim stepped out from the trees, waving her hand to indicate the large area.  "And this is the Thundering Falls area, a bit obvious how it got it's name.  Many come to this and nearby areas at various times of the day." Mim said.

"Interesting." Flapper said, finding actually seeing the thundering falls was different then seeing an animated 2d version of it as he had done before.

Chomper giggled as Drew tried to catch him!! Jumping over logs, and hopping over pounds from rock to rock, he jumped through a large bush that led to the thundering falls. As the name implied, it was a large waterfall that thundered viciously as it all poured into a large pool of water, near plenty of green food. Up ahead, he could see Spike and Ducky. "Hi guys" he waved, as he went to say hi, when....

"CHOMPER, WATCH IT!! I'M GONNA" Drew shouted in alarm as he tripped over a root sticking into the ground. As he fell towards the alarmed Chomper, the two crashed as they went into a roll, heading down the hill at fast speed, shouting pain the whole time.

Chomper fortunatly, landed on his rear but Drew ended up landing on his head, as they we're at the feet now of Chompers two friends. "Heh, hows it going" he chuckled.

"Owww....my head" Drew groaned in pain, as he grasped his head. "Someone make the world stop spinning" he groaned.

Spike gave a gentle laugh at Ducky's question as he turned and began to eat a nearby bush, as if to say 'like  you have to ask'.

~~~
Rick finally snapped out of his trance with the treesweets and looked over to where the Thundering falls were and began to follow Littlefoot. "I can't wait to see this." he said aloud.
Grandma Longneck walked after the small group shortly after she was sure they were all heading the right way.
As John left the Thundering falls, he caught a glimpse of Grandma Longneck and another, unknown longneck, John glared at the longneck suspicously as he left.
Grandpa Longneck continued along his way till he got to where some underwater plants were and started to eat some of them, in his usual no need to hurry style.
"Maybe others at Thundering falls." Petrie said, meaning their other friends, and how much fun they could have, instead of those scary adventures.
Mr. Three Horn sniffed, asked Anna to wait a moment so he could drink.
After he was satisfied, he commented, "I see. I suppose you have family over there, since you look as though you came by yourself. You must them don't you?"
Amazingly in that moment, his stern glare suddenly softened and became sad and sympathetic.
(Rat_lady7: Thanks. :DD I already posted in the discussion thread for this RP, in which I included that information.)
The strange creature groggily awoke at the edge of the Mysterious Beyond. Having been lying on his stomach, he pushed itself up onto his hands and knees, before standing up, balancing uncertainly on his hind legs.
Instinctively he reached for his glasses, before realizing that he could see perfectly (better than usual, in fact), even though he wasn’t wearing them. Furthermore he noticed that his glasses weren’t anywhere near him. He wasn’t even in his room! In fact, he didn’t recognize where he was at all! Springing fully awake at this realization, he scanned his surroundings with a panicked expression. He appeared to be in a small open rocky area, surrounded by tall, pointed boulders. Enormous mountains towered imposingly in the distance.
“Okay,” he thought aloud, attempting to calm himself, “When I’m dreaming, I usually wake up once I become aware that I’m dreaming. So I can be reasonably certain that I’m not dreaming right now.” At that moment he noticed something anomalous at the edge of his peripheral vision. Holding his arm in front of his face, he squawked in surprise (something that was actually not abnormal for him to do) to see that it was covered in dark reddish feathers.
“What the heck?! I’ve turned into a bird overnight?! How does that happen?!” But he discarded the possibility that he was a bird upon noting that his hand still had its fingers. Granted, there were fewer of them, and they were longer, and tipped with claws. But they definitely did not belong to any modern-day bird. His initial shock replaced by curiosity, he twisted his head around in an attempt to examine himself.
Not just his arms (which, as he noted, were now large, flamboyant wings), but his entire body was covered in feathers. Those on his belly and the underside of his wings were tawny yellow, while the rest were a dark red or maroon. Even his legs were feathered, all the way down to his feet. Twisting his neck (now much longer and more flexible) to look behind him, he saw that he had a long tail, tipped with a fan of yellow feathers, which he quickly discovered contained muscles that he could flex and twitch. “Definitely not an avian characteristic,” he thought, his heart pounding with growing excitement.
Only now did he carefully run his hands over his head and face, investigating its shape and texture by touch. He felt a crest of feathers, similar to those adorning his tail, on the nape of his neck, and a dully pointed, unfeathered muzzle that he estimated to be about twice as long as his head was high. Clicking his jaws together, he discovered that they contained teeth. Testing them with his tongue, he found them to be moderately sharp; the teeth of a carnivore or insectivore. It was the confirmation that he possessed teethótogether with the clawed hands and bony tailóthat cemented his certainty of what he had become.
“I dunno how it happened,” he muttered, speaking aloud as he often did, “but I’ve gone back in time and turned into some sort of maniraptoran theropod. One with feathers on its legs. Maybe Pedopenna or Microraptor.” The thought sunk in. “Holy buckets, I’m a dinosaur!”
"Okay, let's go then." Little Foot announced and he lead the way to the thundering falls. When they go there, he suddenly skided to a halt. He saw Spike, Ducky, Chomper, and the others. He was worried what the newcomers would think, so he tried to distract them from going that way.
----------------------
Amy limped until she to came to a stone that encircled something. It looked really familiar, but she wasn't so sure. She scraped against the stone with her claw. She then looked at her claws and she whispered, "Cool."
---------------------
Very blind, Red Claw banged against the ditch. He roared for help, he roared so loud, and so sad that it bounced off the walls of the ditch and against the boulders circling around the Great Valley. Then it bounced to the Mysterious Beyond. He may have been a proud sharptooth, but he knew when he was defeated and down. He then stopped and decided that he should heal before trying to climb up the ditch, if he could climb up that is.
I will get that flyer for this. Her blood will be in my veins by the time I am out of here and well.
