Rose: my question would be to Marita: why did you come back for me?. I was busted for drugs, ended up selling my dignity and body for credits at a dumpy joint, we had to break off our relationship because i was so doped up i would spend days not doing anything of importance. heck that fox confiscated all my possessions when she busted me ' including a 'intimate tape ' we made together after i suggested it to you. i've banged i dont know how many guys, and more than a few girls, just to scrape together a living.
Marita: Because you were my girlfriend, and you meant a lot to me. It was heartbreaking when I found out how far you had fallen.Course, Rescuing you was not entirely my doing, as that very same fox, held, um,'certain evidence' over my head as a means to get my assistance on a police case. if I didnt cooperate, well we'd likely both have spent long years in Lanthae Federal Prison, wasting away in 8 by 12 cells with just a cot, with barred windows and maybe a wall poster to look at. So I cooperated, and flushed you out of there. and in the Process we ran into Marie. truthfully I thought she was cute the moment she served me a drink, but I was there on business, not pleasure. You've shown a lot of inner strength since then Rose. Going through Biproxytol Detox is not easy, not cheap, and its easy to relapse, the drug is that addictive. The Fact you and I survived the spiked drinks, and you didnt try to find some biproxytol afterwards shows your resiliency . A lot of folks would have given in after such an experience , and would have gone straight back to shoveling the stuff up their nose or injecting it into their arms. But you didnt, and I;m proud of you. Mine would be to Marie; What drives you?
Marie; Not an easy question to answer. Well perhaps the desire for something more. I've never really had jobs that would be considered great. Truth be told the Black Sheep was humiliating for everyone who worked there, except the owners who made money coming and going, whether it was skimping on the clothes, nickel and dimeing you on the paychecks, ignoring overtime laws, you name it. the casino pays me better but not great, the guys i deal to, aren't known for tipping well, and then there the odd attempt at a movie-plot heist. I haven't seen my folks in years, they lived in a city called Gregorus, and sent me to Lanthae to live with a relative when i was very young, i think it was because they couldn't afford to take care of me. once i turned 18, i was sent out to make a living, did odd jobs here and there and ended up as a waitress at the Sheep. Thats where i met Rose and was her co-worker for, i think 2 years. if not for Maritas intervention, i think she would have continued to decline until she died either onstage or backstage from the drugs finally being too much. while I didn't intend at first to come along, with the Sheep destroyed and me now jobless, i decided to to tag along, with nothing better going on. i have since found a home with Rose and Marita and I hope some day to reunite with my folks. My question is for Rose; How are you with Money?
Rose: I save every way I can. when i go out for pizza I always go to the Double Slices because they accept coupons, even slightly expired ones, and give you a free salad bar and refills. i try and scrimp and save everywhere I can, Unlike someone in our household, who seems to think money is no object at all. i bet that if Marita was given a list at the supermarket, she'd pay three times more for food than I would, since I always try to limit myself to the essentials and go for the things on sale. comes with the territory of living on just a few credits a week. i''m always looking for ways to save money, whether its turning down the temperature a few degrees, or putting the tv on a timer. and then there's the change in the street. i always pick them up, I've got jars of them in my closet. never took the time to count through them, never had the time really.
