In my case it depends very much on the role play game. I have never taken part in a role play game where there hadn't been serious problems sooner or later. I think it is necessary to agree on a few rules and maybe on a basic ploline before starting a role play game.

It kind of depends on the RPG. I've seen some weird crap happen in those games, so as long as its fairly sane, I'm usually okay with it.

I know, it can get out of hand if you can't keep to the plot. Maybe we can talk about a few ideas and come up with a great plot and great RPG.

We can always take in turn, do one after the other. So we all are happy that we had our RP ideas done. I don't mind going first, second, thrid or last for my idea. I am not bothered but like to do some with buds on this forum.

if we can arrage a list from first to last with the members all can do a RPG of their own idea. Even how silly it is. It is freedom of a RPG but not too far over the top.

The main problem is that a complete role play game makes at least a short story, so what I meant by agreeing on a basic plotline was mainly to suggest that there is not the freedom to tell just any idea one has. For example in one role play I took part in the participants had different ideas on where the characters ought to go, and like in a tug-of-war everyone was trying to pull the dinosaurs to the place of the own favor.
Anyway, I don't think I'm really fit for role play games. I'm too "fanatic" in sticking to the limits set by the first movies and try to make it sound like a book rather than like a role play.

We can get a plotline down and then have a rough idea what the bounder lines are on it.

I voted yes. Depends on the theme and on my mood, but in general I do like to rp. Though I do like to take breaks from it also. I had a few rp ideas, to shy to ever run one. I think GVG said he'd do one of them eventually. I had a few others I mentioned in a thread, most got no response. I guess since most are based on various movies or tv episodes with some changes.
