Go out on a few dates with KOpa first before "Getting close' This is also Hali and Ramiki to consider. kopa will not just beciome a king , but a father as well. as for Kovu, hes done a great job earning my trust, and hes had my daugthers hearts in paws since they were cubs " He laughed ' I believe Vitani that will make an excellent mother to Kopa's Cubs and will be a fine queen. I expect to be a grandfather before too long, and then I can relax and spoil my grandchildren rotten!' he laughed again.

Damon had remained Silent and had kept to himself, but maybe he was only making things worse. So the black fured cub found Simba and walked up to him. " Simba, I know it's late but I need to talk to you." He said, his eyes looking to the ground in shame. " I Know I've been a jerk but I think I need someone to talk to." He said to the king.

Damon laied currled up alone until Makaila curled up next to him. Damon looked up, but laid back down after he saw who it was. Damon drifted off to sleep as Makaila soon drifted off to sleep.

Kopas turned back to sleep as he did his thouights landed on Vitani. He had enjoyed spending time with her, she had a good personality, had a sense oh humor, but what attracted Kopa the most were those beautiful violet eyes of hers...

Damon winced as the sunrise woke him up. the young cub carefully got up, so as not to wake makaila. He walked into the Den and carefully made his way to rock Simba and Nala slept on, He the sat down at the base ad waited for them to wake up.

Kopa was the first of the royal family to stir. hyis years with Nuteri had made him intoi an early riser, he was usually up right at sunrise, or just after. The Crowb prince stretched and went out of the cave, abd looked around, and was startled to see Damon sitting at the base of pride rock. " So what can I do for you,m Rocky? said with a yawn. " why are you up so early?

' Kopa replied.As far as relieving painful memories, all you cvan do about that is accept that this happened to you, and it will always be with you to a degree, but it does not define who you are..

Damon sighed. He thought about waiting, but Kopa's offer seemed more appealing, besides Kopa deserved to know the truth. "Very well, Brace yourself, and get ready to be disturbed." He said, hanging his head low. " My Father is Leo, a canibal lion as well as the son of Scar and Zira." He told Kopa. " I was born in a cave not too far from where Zira and her group lived. Me, my brothers and my sisters lived in fear of leo. Our mother, a lioness named Zuri did her best to comfort us, but as soon as we were old enough to eat meat and our mother too weak to bear him more cubs, Leo forced us all to consume her." Damon said as tears flowed from his eyes. "He then forced us to fight each other, then he threw us into an underground river. I alone survived." Damon said. "It was then he named me, up until then none of us had names. He then pushed me even harder, training me to be as bad as evil as him. He drilled into me that we were preadators, not royalty, that titles like kind made lion prides weak." He explained.

Scar had no children, which is why kovu was selected as his heir, well that and Nuka wasn't king material." kopa replied. ' if your father was indeed scars son, then why did scar name kovu his heir? By all traditions, if a king has a son, that son inherits his kingdom. I find that part of your story to be very very unlikely as it goes against everything i know of scar. He was my great-Uncle, in case you are wondering. the part about your father doing terible things to you and your siblings, that i can believe as you show all the signs of dealing with trauma, and not very well i might add..Your father is absolutely deranged, we are predators yes, but we don't eat our own kind, its simply not done..we eat prey like wildebeest, gazelles and the like.. i'n sorry damon that this has happened to you, but you cannot deride yourself as a moinster because of it. Nor can you act unkindly to the other members of this pride, and you certainly cannot backtalk to any of the royal family, be it my father, mother, myself kiara, or kovu..we will not put up with it. you have a home here damon, in this pride, but only if you want it. if you don't want to be here, just say so, and we;ll find another pride to take you in..' Kopa replied.

He listiened to Kopa's words, taking them in. He dried his tears and smiled sheepishly. "No, this pride is my family by blood, granted a evil bloodline, but still family." Damon said as he looked up. " Besides, your right, But after he abandoned me, I just wanted to find a place where I could just lay down and die. I thought if I was a jerk, no one would want me around or miss me should I die an unnatural death, but I see now that I've been letting my guilt and fears have too much Power over me, so much that I was missing out on all the good oppertunities I have now." He said as he rubbed up againist Kopa's leg. "Thanks ugh.. Prince Kopa, for everything. I promise that from now on, I'll treat everyone around here beter."
