Gilda grinned and took the cupcake, taking a bite out of it happily.
"Heh...Thanks, Dawn."
She said softly, looking like she wanted to say something else...

Dawn just grinned again as she ate, yet, another cupcake, smiling to Gilda with her mouth still full. She wasn't exactly the cleanest of eaters, but it was as if Dawn didn't seem to care either as she looked at Gilda and said...something, but her mouth was rather full to make out what she had even said.

She swallowed what she was eating and spoke again "Are you....okay?"

Gilda smiled a little.
"Hm? Yeah, I was just thinking about the last time I did something like this."
She chuckled, looking up and smiling.
"It was back when Dash and I were just kids. We snuck into the kitchens at Junior Speedsters."
She said with a nostalgic grin...

"You mean, you and Rainbow Dash used to eat cupcakes all the time?" Dawn asked as she grabbed another cupcake and started to munch on it "Were they nice and delicious ones?" she asked with her mouth now full.

"Y'know, I can't even remember if they were or not. All I do remember about those days was spending time with Dash."

Dawn slowed down withher eating as she heard Gilda sigh. At first, she didn't understand why she was upset, until it clicked in her mind as she spat what she had in her mouth, onto the ground as she thought for a moment and grinned slightly. She pushed the tray of the rest of the cupcakes towards Gilda "Take 'em, you know, to Rainbow Dash" she smiled to her.

"Besides, I wanna go have a little look around as well, so uh, go to Rainbow Dash, take the cupcakes with you too. She'll like them, I'm sure that she will. Everyone likes cupcakes" Dawn added in, still smiling to Gilda all the while "I'll be fine"

Gilda shook her head.
"Heh. It's not...that. I mean, she and I...well, we had a falling out... and besides, she's got he friends coming soon."
She said hastily...

"Well, if you had a falling out, then go and make it all better" Dawn seemed to push back, pushing the rest of the cupcakes even closer to Gilda "I mean, you wont know anything unless you try, it's like me, I didn't know I could uh....fly! But with the help of Rainbow Dash's launcher....it sort of worked. But the tree and the swamp don't count!" she added in a bit hastily "So you have to try at least"

"Maybe later. But right now, I think 'Lestia would be mad if I let you wander around on your own. Besides...Dash and I've both grown up a lot. Things've changed, we've changed...I dunno, I guess...I'm just...I dunno..."
She said, running a talon through her feathers...

"But if it's later, the cupcakes will be cold and wont taste very nice" Dawn spoke, sticking her tounge out a little bit "Just cause you've grown up, doesn't mean everything has to change...." she added in a little quietly. At least, that's what she had hoped. Then again, she had no friends herself. Gilda was at least lucky to have had a friend.

The idea just seemed to cause Dawn to go a bit quiet by that point as she looked to the side somewhat "You should've at least still remained friends with her...."

"Yeah, I know I should've...but...I guess I wanted more than to be her friend... And then, she just...she left Flight camp, without telling anyone...without telling me..."
She shook her head a little.
"Stupid, right? Getting all upset about...her leaving without letting me at least know...at least go with her..."

Dawn's expression by that point, seemed to change yet again to a more serious one as she walked right up to Gilda and started to try and push her along with her head "Then go and talk to her, and I am not going to take no for an answer" she grunted as she did indeed, try to keep on pushing Gilda along, grunting all the while.

"Alright, alright. Just...here's some advice. You're young, but...if you ever feel like you love someone, just tell them. Don't worry about what the world will think, otherwise...you may lose some part of yourself, and it's awfully hard to find yourself again. Just keep that in mind."
She said, walking off nervously...

"Fall in love with someone?" Dawn asked herself, looking to the side slightly as Gilda walked off. Yeah, there was someone, but she wasn't even sure if she should tell her, especially on what her fellow friends would think. Yet, Dawn just shook the idea out of her head for the time being and turned around to decided to go and have a look around the general area.

As she wandered around, she saw two other fillies hanging out by themselves. Dawn thought for a second before she decided to approach the two of them. Perhaps it was best to at least, try and make a few friends.

The two fillies in question, glanced at Dawn with one speaking up "What do you want?" she asked, a bit rudely for that matter.

"C'mon, Gilda...you can do this...you gotta..."
She whispered, tears welling a little in her eyes as she walked over to Dash.
"Hey, Dash...can I talk to you about something?"
She asked, her voice unsteady...

"Oh uh, nothing, just....taking a look around, that's all" Dawn quickly retaliated back.

"Well, stay away, you see this little area? This is ours" the filly sneered back rather harshly. Though, she stopped as she looked at Dawn "Wait, you're that flying pegasus that crashed into the castle before, aren't you?"

"Uh yeah, that's me alright....pretty cool, right?" Dawn asked hopefully as she took a few steps towards the other two fillies.

"Yeah, I suppose" the filly replied back with a roll of her eyes.

"My name's Dawn"

"Skye, and this here is Mint Berry" the filly replied back.

Sure Gilda What is it? Dash replied looking at her " Truth be told Dash had meant to say goodbye to her before leaving the flight camp, but things just didn't work out the way she had wanted...she noticed the look on glidas face and fell silent...

"Ummm...well...Y'see...I wanted to say sorry...about being such a jerk towards your friends when I came to see you last time... It was just...I was so glad to see you...and...have a chance to tell you how I felt...that when they kept interrupting...I guess I just snapped. I'm really sorry..."
She said, never making eye contact with Dash...
