The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Not really.  DVDs can be kind of expensive over here, and the only way to watch them is on a Japanese DVD player because their Region 2 lock...   :rolleyes
Ahhh...the wonders of unlocking DVD's and cracking region codes....  It's actually quite simple with the right equipment.  You just need a computer with a few simple programs.  And before you go saying you don't have a region 2 DVD player in your computer, you can change your DVD drive's region a few times (3 I think).  Just pop it over to region 2, copy the movies directly onto your hard drive, and you're 100% golden!  MKV format works great for this.  That's one of the reasons why a lot of Japanese anime is in MKV format.  I have a few friends from Japan that can get me exclusive content that isn't available anywhere else.  If you do end up buying any anime when you're over there, do the rest of the internet a favor and share.  It really sucks when that one anime you want can't be purchased in the country you're in. :(

You should try and do what Land posted. There for you can watch movies on your DVD Player.

Here's yet another video.  Today there was a little Mochi festival at the International Exchange building.  And I got in on the tradition of pounding the dough with giant wooden mallets.  :lol   As you can see, I'm wearing a happi coat representing my host university.
