Captain Carson landed in the Duke's lair with Ratchet still clinging to her. "I have one," she said.

Captain Fairchild nodded as he launched a volley of rockets at the mountain, blowing the entrance wide open.

He radioed Stripetail and Tarrax. "This is Captain Fairchild, the entrance is now exposed."

At the same time, the repulsorsled carrying Dr. Zanasiu, Deimos, Ms. Swimmer and Mr. Bigmouth was rapidly ascending the twisting pathway to the mountain entrance.

i.. have you.. right where i want you ' ratchet muttered ' his armor was protecting him from the electricity in carsons suit, but he was still getting thrown around like a rag doll..
spyro and cynder landed as did the other dragons. tiger and tigeress hopped off quickly, followed by the rest of thier team.. stripetail reached the enlargened opening and jumped off

Captain Carson flicked Ratchet into the air, grabbed him with her talons and threw him towards the Duke. "Your next orders, master?"

The sled was parked at the entrance of the cave.

"Go! Go! Go!" Deimos shouted as he hefted his rifle. The rest of the team leapt out of the sled, brandishing their weapons.

ratchet threw his wrench banging the duke on the beak and sending him flying into the wall.. hard.
-Open fire on the duke Stripetail ordered.
and the battle was joined waregreymon and wargreywomon started throwing magic at the duke
stitch broke off a stalactiter and swung it around at one of servants owls who flew into actyion to protect, thier master. hunch flew down in front of rabbit and fox.
Cynder threw some fear globs at some of the owls
spyro used earth..
Tiger and Tigeress used Blizzard on thier nearest foes.

The Duke, annoyed by the pain, quickly flew upwards to avoid all the firing being shot at him.

Sara threw a few plasma sphere spells around, hotter then fire balls since they reached a higher temperature.

"Execute 17." Jason said.

"Cool, mass destruction." Gnash said as he drew out a small sphere and tossed it, an anti matter grenade.

Jason reached into a pocket and drew out his 7d sphere and seeing him do it Joe did the same. Jason threw his at Guilmon and Joe as Gomomon, their digivolutions to Zudomon and Gallantmon seeming to take less then a hundreth of a second and they started to attack the enemies.

"Keep close." Jason said as he drew close to Joe, seeing some of the owls coming for them.

"What can we do?" Joe asked.

"This." Jason said poking his staff at the ground. A flash if intense heat hit the nearest owls. Then a tiny line of fire came out and circled around where the 2 of them were, but then it flared up suddenly into a wall of what looked like fire rotating with small spheres of fire within it, even hotter then the initial flash. "Just a little spell, some call it firestorm, others Plasma Wall or Blast Bomb, among other names in various places."

Brooklyn went into the air and drew out his katana against flying opponents, with Gnash beside him tossing the few bombs he had then drawing out his shorter sword to use also.

"You can't just say yes!" she exclaimed.

"You have to barter! Or else they'll think you're weak."

"But Stripetail just told us to pay the money," protested Shakila.

"We will....after bartering."

"Just let me do the talking!" sighed Shakila. She reopened communications. "We agree to the sum you requested. I've sent you our ship's parameters, now it'd be a show of good faith if you sent us yours."

Ms. Swimmer charged into the fray, knocking aside Owls with her electrified sticks. She sheathed one and offered a hand to Rabbit and Fox. "Come on! I've got to get you out of here!"

Dr. Zanasiu let fly multiple shotgun blasts at the owls while Deimos repeatedly sent .50 caliber rounds at The Duke.

Mr. Bigmouth had a net gun ready as he tried to draw a bead on Captain Carson.

Big mistake. As soon as she saw the net gun, a flick of her wing sent a metal spike hurtling towards Mr. Bigmouth. The spike embedded itself in the launcher. Noticing the red light in the spike, he quickly hurled the launcher away just as the explosive dart detonated.

The Duke had to do some fancy flying to dodge Danasiu's bullets, and a few grazed him. Being immortal, they wouldn't be able to kill him, but they could still wound him

While the Bomb Blast was up Jason had the Korodos spell staff out horizontally and moved his fingers to move the small gems to a certain position. "Good." he said as the Bomb Burst spell came down.

"What spell did you set it for?" Joe asked curious.

"It has many names, dragon slayer, dragon slave, explosive bomb, and others." Jason said. He aimed the stuff at a target, of sufficient distance away and shot the spell. It shot out, in a straight line and once it got to the target it let loose in a huge explosion, destroying everything within it's blast radius, as well as being a bright light and the obvious sound of an explosion.

Sara did a area spell that instantly lowered the temperature to a degree or 2 above absolute zero, catching owls within the area, which shattered once they hit the ground.

the owls were being driven back. ' those who tried to attack stripetail were turned into things, some became hats, others tables, and still others bowling balls.
dulcy and samia both shot fireballs at the owls
