Sara used her breath weapon again, swooping down lower to provide some cover. Then she cast an earthquake spell to help keep the enemies in an area on unsteady ground while the spell lasted.

The various rangers grouped together, 2 or 3 of them firing on the same enemy at the same time, so to concentrate their firepower. The more melee inclined ones switching to pistols to regroup with the others and to keep their firepower as concentrated as possible.

Pyro accidentally ignited a group of cloaked enemies. "Mmph mphr!" he warned everyone. Engineer pulled out the Wrangler and trained his sentry on the flanking squadron.

Spy, meanwhile, had chain-stabbed a sequence of foes and had made his way into one of the convoys. Finding the control panel, he placed a sapper and then slinked away as it exploded behind him.

Soldier and demoman were firing barrages of explosives at a chokepoint, preventing the enemy from advancing through it.

Kopa was firing magical slices of energy knocking thugs off into the void between the skylands, as the bodys were vaporized by the magical force keeping the lands up..
Tiger was blasting away, and Angel and stitch were punching the guys on the ground mercilessly.

Countersnipers were giving Sniper some problems. "They just keep coming!" he growled, hitting one and then barely ducking out of sight before three others blasted the spot where his head used to be.

The nurse signaled Demoman, who nodded. Both primed grenades and flew over there. While in midair, Demoman laid a volley of stickybombs that detonated the entire sniper nest. Nurse then whacked him with his medkit once they'd landed, fixing the damage from the jump.

"We can provide covrin' fire from o'er here!" smiled the demoman, whacking the surviving sniper with his bottle.

Guilmon used the digital hazard symbol on his shield to send out a blast at a group of enemies. Looking to see if others may need help.

Sara sent some chain lightning at a group of enemies, the lightning jumping from foe to foe as long as the spell lasted, causing damage and confusion. "That should help some." Sara said.

Deimos smiled and shot everyone of the cloaked enemies that Pyro had set aflame.

"Medic!" Zachary shouted. One of the snipers had shot him in the hip, just underneath his ballistic vest. The bulky anti-radiation suit had slowed down the bullet but it was still lodged in his hip, making movement painful. A Spirarian soldier was shot after him but the shot was fatal for it was square in the head.

Dr. Zanasiu gave covering fire as a Spirarian medic tried to treat Zachary.

Captain Fairchild sped out from the starship's launch bay. The other living planes trailed him. They made a beeline for the largest mass of enemies and dropped three large bombs on top of them.

They wheeled around and rejoined the fight, strafing a repulsorsled with autocannon fire.

"I think its best we just evacuate Nick and Kerzach back to the ship and flee!" Rainbow radioed to Stripetail.

Drobot lit his boosters and smashed a repulsorsled in a brutal uppercut. His armor absorbed most of the impact and the thugs who didn't have jetpacks were either spattered onto the ground or vaporized when they fell into intense magical field that made up the void and that kept the skylands from coalescing into a planet.

No, drive them back. we need to get supplies for winterville, and map the skylands for future reference and to establish contacts with the government of the area' Stripetail replied..' i will be coming out to assist.. keep driving them back..'

Medic dodged gunfire and trained his Medigun on Zachary.

"Doktor!" yelled Heavy, as Medic was putting himself seriously in harm's way. But before he could do anything, a squadron of shock troopers broke through the lines and swamped Medic, Zachary, and Dr. Zanasiu. "No!!!" yelled Heavy, eyes wide.

But then, through the smoke, out emerged a glowing Medic, who had Ubercharged Dr. Zanasiu and stood in front of Zachary, preventing both from taking further damage. "Push zem back!" he called, teeth gritted.

"There's quite a few of them. What'll we do?" Gnash asked.

"Formation 4." Jason said as lightning played across his hands as he brought out his Korodos spell staff. The others got close to him. He then stamped the staff on the ground and around them the wind started to pickup, quickly distorting as fire started to appear. "A small elemental fire storm from the plane of fire. Something to keep them a bit busy and give us some breathing room." Jason said. The storm circled them for 5 or so seconds, them in the eye. Then it lifted up and moved forward. They could see it was only about 10 feet or so tall. Then it started to move in the direction of a large group of enemies.

"I'll end the spell which will send it back after it's done it's work on a group or 2, the rest of you use the time to recover." Jason said.

"There's cover over there." Brooklyn said pointing at a large bolder.

"Just the thing." Jason said, the group going over to the boulder.

kovu was running to and fro swiping at the enemy with great efficiency. while he wasnt as strong, physically, as kopa was, koyu was a great strategic thinker, and in a battle being able to think on your feet is crucial. having magical powers at your clawtips was a big help too..'

tarrax flew out of the spire of winter, with stripetail riding on his back. stripetail's staff glowed brilliantly as the intense magic of this world brought to the fore his immense power. those who fired on him met a very quick end, and very soon the battle turned against chongs forces, who were being routed. kopa and kovu were helping the ground assault while the dragons, digimon and ratchet helped with the air assault.

Sara flew higher into the sky. She breathed fire at some enemies as she did another chain lightning spell, hitting most of the same enemies her dragon fire had hit, and some others as well. She did a spell to make a shield in front of her to shield herself from attacks below.

The shock troopers fired at the trio but thanks to the ubercharge, bullets literally bounced off of them.

Dr. Zanasiu and Zachary quickly took apart the shock troopers with bursts of rifle and shotgun fire.

A missile streaked past Tarrax as it locked onto a repulsorsled. In seconds, the sled was little more than a cloud of metal fragments.

"Looks like the battle's turning in our favor," Rainbow said.

Drobot flew alongside Tarrax. Two lasers lanced out from his wing-mounted cannons, killing an enemy jump jet flyer. The small bullets the soldier was using harmlessly bounced off his armor plating.

"Nick!" Dr. Kerzach shouted as he threw his knife at an enemy trooper. "Pass me a rifle!"

Captain Carson's flung two explosive darts at a repulsorsled that slowed down so enemy reinforcements could disembark.

The darts lodged in the metal chassis and soon detonated, reducing the sled to a burning wreck and severely injuring if not killing the enemy soldiers.

Explosions roared as Major Lockie and Captain Fairchild dropped several thousand pounds of bombs on a group of Chong's hired muscle. Even after the bombs were dropped, the two planes were pounding them with a seemingly endless hail of autocannon shells.

Ms. Swimmer slammed her twin sticks into the ground. The world's inherent magic interacted with the lightning elemental charge in it, and a massive column of lightning rocketed from the ground and incinerated a group of onrushing enemies.

A Spirarian trooper stood slackjawed before a bolt of magic issuing forth from the cloud of smoke broke him from his reverie. He raised his rifle to his eyes and fired a burst at the mage, killing him.

spyro used his fury attacjk to destroy a repulsorsdled while missile fire from aphelion was wiping out the airborne enemy.
Nick tossedKerzach the rifle, and started firing at the enemy from iopeningin the damaged repulsorsled. the skylanders helped as best they could, given their confined location..

Soldier rocket-jumped up to a higher vantage point, accidentally destroying two cloaked enemies with the splash. Firing a volley of rockets at a faraway sniper post, he reduced it to rubble when one rocket was a critical hit.

Sniper located somebody that was giving orders on the enemy side and removed his head with a single shot. He was then disrupted as he heard two enemy assassins sneak up behind him. But then a volley of rockets and bullets mowed them down; Engineer had noticed and whipped out the Wrangler.

Medic healed Zachary once the Ubercharge was over and ducked as an enraged Heavy jump-revved in front of him. "No one hurts doktor!" he yelled, spraying a wave of lethal bullets in a large cone in front of Medic.

Brooklyn & Gnash took to the air to do some attacks at nearby opponents, using their swords. Some sparks flying as they struck with their swords. Velma & Jason focused on attacking the same foes that were nearby those that Brooklyn & Gnash were attacking, using their ranged weapons. Velma her laser bowcaster and Jason his blaster carbine.

Just then the ground began to shake, something large was close by.

Suddenly about five thugs were hit by a voodoo spell that reduced them to the bone. Ten others were instantly petrified as the huge form of the draconian goddess Vertigo stepped out into view.

"Rest for eternity." She muttered with a hiss, the cobrasaurus exposed her tail-blade and shattered the petrified thugs into dust. With that she turned to Nick and Dr. Kerzach.

"I leave you two alone for a few moments and this is what you get into?" Vertigo asked them.

Not far away, Sheeva held two of Chong's thugs in her upper arms, her lower arms pounding them and sending the two to the ground.

Vertigo turned and hit one of the thugs with her voodoo spell and snatching another in her maw, swallowing him whole. The third was impaled by Scorpion's spear and pull towards the undead Ninja before being knocked out by an uppercut. And Vertigo petrified the fourth thug and shattered him.

"You were saying?" Vertigo mused.
