As dusk broke over the calm tropical sea of Pokitaru, the nocturnal activities were just winding down. But owing to the living planes' electronic and mechanical structures, they didn't need as much sleep. As a result, they flew patrols that lasted hours. And as it were, Captain Fairchild and Major Lockie were still slowly circling over the resort grounds to ensure everything was secure.

But even so, there were plenty who were still asleep.

With the announcement of the free breakfast for the guests, the dining room of the resort quickly filled with hungry people. Ms. Swimmer had a towel draped around her neck - evidence of her morning swim.

"How was everyone's night?" she asked as she grabbed a few fruits and a steaming cup of tea.

Captain Carson opted for some freshly made pancakes with peanut butter and maple syrup.

As she sat down, she radioed Stripetail. "Stripetail," she said. "I have two important matters to discuss with you after breakfast."

Tigeress took a seat at a table in the corner, and was soon ikjoined by lCam, Flash, Mona, Agumina. Biyomon and Gabuna. Each had opiled food on thier playes, like the young wolves had kid-sized portions of food. ' Can I start eating mom?' Flash asked as Tigeress got comfortable ' Sure, honey, theres plenty of food, so eat all you like "

"Very well indeed, Seer," Captain Carson replied as she started taking a bite from her meal.

Dr. Zanasiu and the rest of the Pelvanida group had begun to arrive.

"Good morning, everyone," Mr. Bigmouth said as he piled hash browns on his plate. "What's on the agenda today?"

"Relaxation," Dr. Kerzach said as he ate some waffles.

"Well, I know its key to write about the features you love about the one you're writing about," Jing explained to Tigress, showing her the notepad she had already come up with some lines with. "I've added some alliteration, bringing up his "beautiful blubbery behind" and his "generous ginormous gut" Since they were pandas, these weren't seen as insults.

"Any suggestions?" she smiled to the wolves. "I just have some much I admire about my future husband...." she sat next to Tigress as the dawn arrived.

Well, i think you have a good start' Tigeress said as Jing sat down next to her at the breakfast "Like I said last night, I wish Tiger wrote me poems like this.. Hmm. I would add ' I wonder at your rolypolyness, your gentle girth makes me glad. Your massive muscles reassure me, that our home will be safe. " she said, as flash pushed a plate of pancakes to Jing ' Here you go lady Jing ' the young pup said sweetly " i hope you like strawberry pancakes ' She beamed. ' Shes a panda honey ' Luca said ' she likes dumplings and tea . well, Jing, iT seems you think you've found your special someone. I'm happy for you' She said earnestly ' Anything I can do to help? Perhaps draw a design for your house? I'm a faiorly good drawer.' She said. I'd suggest painting your intended ' Gabuna said next to Jing " Something that both of you will like. Like drawing him in a king fu pose...' OR a Kiss the Cook outfit' DIxie chimed in , Laughing. ' Are you going to make him a house-husband ?' She laughed.

"Well, I would probably cook him some meals sometimes," Jing smirked in response, "But we'll both be well off thanks to my father. He's acquired a lot of wealth and treasures through his lifetime through.....various means. I was nearly married before....this horrible rooster named General Tsao kidnapped me and kept me locked up, he was so cruel. Thankfully my father and the Cooper Gang rescued me. And now....I've truly found my beloved, and I intend to keep him...." she chuckled in a cute yet boastful way.

He seems like a nice guys apart from his enormous action figure collection. " He has an action figure collection/' Flash piped up, excitred. ' Can we see it?' She asjked as po entered the breakfast area loking very tiired from his long evening patrol ' morning guys ' he said ' before noticing Jing. He turned and looked at Tigeress who gave him a ' go - ahead look ' Hi, er, Jing King, I was wondering if you'd like to go play putt-putt golf with me. IF you win, I er, will do whatever you want for the day. BuT If I win.. you er, have to get me a bunch of action figures for my collection." "Why dont you show the kids your action figure collection?' tigeress said as she went to get into the Food line. " Well everything except my figure of you ' Po blushed at tigeress " that ones special. " YOu;re sweet Po, now go get out your toys and show them. you'ree a good story teller Po"

"And if I win, future husband," Jing added in a whisper to Po's ear, "You'll have to pose for me. I have some outfits I know will look marvelous on you..." she then pulled the Dragon Warrior close and kissed him on the cheek and eventually on the lips, catching him off guard. "Ahh, you just look more handsome every day..." she smiled wistfully, "I cannot wait to marry you."

"Love is in the air," Ollie smiled, looking at the pandas.

"We'll be careful," Oliver promised the Dragon Warrior. He held the action figures gently, not trying any rough gestures with them. He admired the craftwork done on them.

"Something comfy," Jing began to reply, "Something that's clearly belonging to those only of regal stance, but not too over the top ornate." She looked at the basic outline that was being drafted, "I would suggest there be a 4th floor, one my father can stay on." She turned back to Po, "As my future husband, my father will be taking you in as his apprentice, Po. He'll have lots to teach you in the art of flame fu." She seductively fanned her face using a fan from her home.

"Yes we did, father," Jing nodded in confirmation, "It was easy for me to sleep safe and sound, knowing my beloved, big, and strong future husband was guarding me." She once again wrapped Po into a hug, squeezing him tight.

She then bumped him forward with her hips. "Even more than I, my father can tell you what to expect now that you're part of my family, Po," the Panda King's daughter encouraged him.

Tai Lung, Monkey, and Mantis could only smirk inwardly at what they were witnessing.

" I will be finishing my work on the new planets today, if anyone needs to contact me, my walkie-talkie will be on. or use your rings if you are on my team." NIck took a seat across from him, and set his plate of hash browns down. Cynder and Spyro took seats at the next table, where they werre joined by Gabumon and Gabuna as Well as Biyomon Agumon and Agumina.

Captain Carson finished up her meal and turned to Stripetail. "I will be in the meeting room," she said.

She then returned her plates and got up to go to the aforementioned location.

Stripetail grabbed a muffin and folowed Carson out of the room " anything new to report, Captain?' Stripetail said as he caught up to her. " Any news on Deimos, or where he might have been taken?' He queried. YOu mentioned two important matters, after all."

Chong summoned a trio of his henchman to his office. a gloewing red ball floated in from of his desk " take this orb and go out in the galaxy This gem will allow you to destroy the engines of ships, and take the passengers captive. Be careful with it, it only has enough magic for a total of 10 uses, so be careful with using it. ' The mage folded his hands and pulled out a trio of pictures , showing Kovu, Neyla and Carmelita " bring these three in, if you can/ they will make good sport.

Captain Carson nodded as she sat down. "Yes, my crew has picked up the transponder signals of both Phoenix and Rainbow. Apparently, they originate from the same source."

She then checked her tablet. "In addition, they have also picked up transmissions about a new show called "The Dreadzone". Normally, I would not trouble you with such trifling details but there are some severely troubling aspects."

The Human then played an ad for the show. Vox was promising a prime time "Terrarian Free For All" and the dead competitor's wings would be auctioned off as collector's items. There was a also a mention of their newest sponsor, Chong."

"At once," the soldiers said. The squad leader took the glowing red orb and pocketed it. He then saluted Chong and turned to his men. "All right, we must plan for the capture. My suspicions are that they're still on that resort planet."

So Chong is sponsoring this Vox's characters show?" Stripetail pressed his claws together " this Dreadzone, whatever it is, needs investigation. I would not be surprised if Chong sends Vox his prisoners to be used as ' contestants " on the show, we know he has very little regard for the lives of iothers. Talk to Ratchet about this, and see if he knows anything, this is after all his home galaxy and he has experience in death matches like this ' Dreadzone'' Stripetail said watching the entire ad which ran for a couple minutes, and promised blood guts and glory on Dreadzone. Stripetail's face darkened in anger at the end of it. " we need to learn more about Vox as well. What is his angle in this?"

Captain Carson nodded. "I shall acquire as much information as I can about this. Speaking of which, I believe I should bring Ratchet into this." She then radioed Ratchet.

"Ratchet," she said. "Carson here, what do you know about Vox and the Dreadzone? My crew has intercepted a transmission regarding that particular show and the inaugural airing of a partnership show with Chong."

As the radios she and the rest of the crew used were encrypted, there wasn't too much worry about Chong eavesdropping on them. She rubbed her forehead.

A shuttle landed at the spaceport on Pokitaru. Three passengers disembarked. While they were dressed in classic vacation clothing and had luggage suitable for such an outing, they were not here for a relaxing purpose.

"Looks like they got wind of what's going on," one of the trio muttered. She noticed several Spirarians patrolling the place. Despite them being in plainclothes it was clear they were armed guards.

"No matter. We'll get in and get out," her partner said. "Right now, we gotta wait."

The trio then strode up to the front desk and waited to be served.

Vox? What do you want to know?' Ratchet said via radio ' Guys name is Gleeman Vox, Head of Vox industries, which runs the gamut from holovision to merchandising. Dreadzone is an illegal fighting operation deep in the Shadow sector, on the edge of the galaxy and far away from prying eyes. Its netted Vox billions if not trillions of bolts, built on the suffering and death of his " contestants" . How do i know so much? I've faced him, and Dreadzone, before and survived' Ratchet said. " I was captured and forced to fight in that arena, upon pain of death. I thought by defeating Vox that hes slink away and Dreadzone would be shut down, but unfortunately it looks like hes back in business, and Chong is profiting from allying with him, if hes sponsoring some of the fights. Those fights draw in billions of viewers and at 50 bolts a fight well you do the math' Ratchet said. " If I had to guess,, Vox and Chong are going to come after us, and he hasnt forgotten how i beat him last time, so if you find that theres a bounty out on me and Clank, that wouldnt surprise me. "
I figure Deimos and Rainbow are just the start of that" stripetail said in reply " Definitely , if I wre you, I'd start moving folks around the galaxy, as Pokitaru is too well known a vacation spot. " Ratchet said " IF Chong and Vox are that on top of things, moving the others around would only buy us time " stripetail said. "the last thing we need is to send some people to say Veldin, and have them disappear en route" We do need to know where the new Dreadzone is, and figure out how to shut it down" Ratchet said.

She rubbed her forehead again. "I'm normally not one for first strikes, being captain of a civilian ship. But we may not have a choice." The Human sighed. "Right now, we need to gather more information."

The three kidnappers were quickly served. A bellhop assisted them in putting their luggage away. The squad leader left him a fat tip.

"Well, let's say we walk around a bit?" the third one said. "And maybe grab some food."

The squad leader noticed the onsite eatery which served up a variety of tropical dishes. She saw a few Lions eating there and nodded. "Let's."

The trio then headed for the eatery out on the beach.
