Oh, they do notice them. Abnormalities just don't bother any of the gang at all because they learned in their lives to accept all kinds, just they way they are. And besides, they still have to set the example for Ali in this matter too.

I am curious about something though. Who killed half of Petrie's siblings between the time of The Land Before Time XII: The Great Day of the Flyers and The Days of Rising Water?

Yes, Spike, who she's very glad is back and not run away after VIII, came up with non word songs to sooth her to sleep and keep away the nightmares of being kidnapped by bellydraggers and flyers as well as the skeleton from V! Spike can deal with all that
