one by one the group filed down the stairs towards the dungeon door, which had been left open by the guards. dae led as way as best he could
his feet were starting to act up..

As they approached the cell, John kicked down the door of the cell Ashnii was held. But stopped in his tracks when he found it was empty. "No..." the boy muttered.

- thy group was on the first level of cells, ashnii was on the 3rd and lowest level. stairs went down at the end of the hallway

"I'm glad you are safe, and we all are." Chaka said looking at Kyo. "I wonder how long we'll have to wait till the others get back. I'm sure they'll be ok." She said, glancing over in the direction they went in.

As the group caught up to the empty cell, Eric stepped forward, placing a hand on John's shoulder cautiously.
"Look...I'm sure there's a...there's got to be a reason. Perhaps she escaped when we staged out little coup..."

Eric slumped against the wall of the cell, unconscious and bleeding from where his head had slammed into the stones of the cell as Sima Shi glanced at his prone form.
"Hmph. A touch kinder than that filth deserves, but a fitting sentence. I'll see to it that he never sees the light of day again. Not until he does so from within a coffin. If that...thing can even die."
He said, eyes icy and devoid of mercy...

Qa'Meret felt that he would have interveened there, but he didn't have the will to try to stop John. The Minstrel have experienced great loss and death, but what Ashnii suffered was surely a great deal. - "John, calm down. Focus on getting Ashnii back, nothing is more important now. We can deal with Eric later." - The Khajiit tried to reason with John.

In the mean time, Kyo left his dragon in a clean spot on the ground, the creature just flopped on the ground. - "Miss Chaka, I am getting worried about the dragon. It had to fight a lot and I didn't make it for that, it is not a fighting creature."

hold on there john, we have no proof it was him ' nicula said ' just some crazy nut showing us horrible images and rambling about how someone in our midst is evil incarnate, and pointing the finger at him. eric has already endured dealth, theres nothing more w can really do to him, and locking him up without proof isnt fair. i mean we'd be the same boat as the Ciount and countess we just defeated. loook i'm worried about ashnii too, we aklll are, but we cant assume shes dead, w must assume shes alive out there' sge turned to eric. ' i'm giving you the benefit of the doubt eric, so dont do anything to make me consider.

the ones who put her in this position are dead and richly deserved it. You have a more important job Sima than worry about one guy, even if he is a traitor. your job is to fix this city, restore it to prosperity, and hold off apep's hordes. Nicula said firmly. " i understand your reaction, goodness knows i'm not condoning erics involvement in this in any way, but i believe in showing mercy when asked, even if they don't deserve it.'

Chaka looked at the dragon then at Kyo, "Do you think it is sick, or needs more energy?" She asked him, showing concern on her face.

Kyo knelt next to the creature. - "I have read how archmages that can make creatures may just create a replacement... but that seems so cold, I don't want to be like them. So I hope this dragon only needs more energy." - The kid said worried, glancing at the creature and then all those corpses in the ground. He sighed.

Qa'Meret was among the first to follow Dar'Maa. - "It is great that you've found this passage. Dungeons do not bring good memories." - Then the Khajiit started walking thorugh the passage. - "I suppose that whenever we come out from the other side, we can then bring the rest of the group... but not through those dungeons." - he mentioned trying to cheer-up himself. He wonders if when they find Ashnii, it would make things more clear about Eric's involvement in this mess.

Kyo looked at Chaka and smiled. - "That is a wonderful idea, they are already sleeping so their energy is plentiful." - the kid stood up and grabbed his dragon, then he started to carefully walk between the deceased guards, trying not to step on the blood puddles again. - "Before the rest of the group tell us to move on." - he said as he place his right han on the forehead of one of the sleeping guards and after a little bit, he was successful to borrow some energy.

The kid then repeated the process with the remaining 2 guards and then returned to Chaka. - "Well, Ithink that should do it for now." - Kyo said while sighing.

Walker looked at the direction of the cell where Eric was. He wondered if he was traveling with the right group and if some were fools, trusting a total stranger instantly and blindly like that. He wondered if he should travel with them at all. Who would they turn on next.
