Ehh well, I get all giddy and happy around the holidays, just like a child

What can I say, it's the festive aura around me that makes me I want to jump around and hug random people and fill them with cheer... that or end up getting arrested O_o

The things I got for Easter (besides lots of candy, of course):

16 GB flash drive
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days DVD (although I own all the books so far, I find the movies more humorous)
A toy resembling a baby chick that lights up when you shake it (I bet many kids got those!)
A CD: The Best of Smokey Robinson and the Miracles: The Millennium Collection (because clearly, I need more Motown in my music collection!)

(Bumping the thread, just 'cause!)

I am very analytical when it comes to music. Naturally, on a song with multiple instruments, if I listen closely, I hear all the instruments and know quite a few of the notes by ear. However, I'm sort of like Paul McCartney or Phil Collins in a way, as in I've never been an expert at reading or writing music in any way. Naturally, I am a percussionist in the high school band. I can easily play music for things like bass drum, snare drum, cymbals, even timpani, but only once in a while will I play mallets. Even though I love mallets dearly, I'm no quick music reader. It takes me a while to play things on 'keyboards' (which is what mallets are collectively called).

I have also been crazy about musical instruments for quite a while, whether it's a keyboard, a guitar, a bass, strings, woodwinds, horns, percussion...anything, really! Lately, I've had an obsession with them!

I play the keyboard/piano(whatever you call it) as well. I think I'm quite good though I should practise more often

I could play some percussion as well I guess... but my parents wouldn't like the noice

I have NO patience. I really want to get things "out of my system" so to speak, like right now for example. I'm TRYING to get registered for my tour director certification classes in November, BUT... no one's picking up at the phone at the academy. >_> This is making me rather impatient as I'm ready to go and sign up.
