Anyway, I finished building Benny's spaceship, and I have to say that it was quite interesting to see what big Lego sets these days are like. (Over the last few years, I've gotten only small ones or Bionicle sets, so I've really been missing out on what Lego really has to offer.) It took me five and a half hours to put the whole thing together, so it's a good thing I had decided to wait until I had a whole day available to work on it.

I'm now looking forward to seeing what other Lego sets I might get for Christmas.

I didn't do much for my birthday this year, though I did get some of those new Bionicle sets that came out earlier this year, and I honestly can't wait to put them all together (once I get the opportunity to do so, of course).

By the way, Malte, I got that package you sent me earlier this month. I certainly hadn't expected anything like that, but thanks anyway.

As usual, I didn't want to do much for my birthday, though I did get a few nice things, such as a few more Bionicle sets (and hoping for more for Christmas). My brother also got me a new cooling pad for my laptop computer, so now I no longer have to use that old one that always rattles loudly every time I turn it on. My grandparents were also kind enough to provide me with enough money so that I can continue to pay off my student loans for the next year. (Still not much luck on getting a job, but at least I will soon have a paying seasonal job that'll last for three weeks ahead of Christmas, so at least that's something.)
