It turns out the synopsis for one of the upcoming comics I shared last week may have actually been supposed to be for issue 10, with possibly the actual one for issue 9 shared here:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2022/10/new-second-synopsis-appears-for-my.html

Remember the upcoming new comic series featuring the G4 cast in the roles of Little Women? Here's a two page preview of the first issue in that series:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2022/10/2-page-preview-for-little-fillies-g4-1.html

Here's a synopsis of issue 3 for that series:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2022/10/my-little-pony-classics-reimagined.html

Also, here's a brief preview clip from the Winter Wishday holiday special that'll be out on Netflix almost a month from now:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOHqH1gjFKE
(There were also a few preview images shared as well, but I'm a little hesitant on sharing them since one of the images has a rather freaky animation error.)

Now for the weekly new content, starting with the new episode of Pipp's Podcast:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2022/10/episode-5-of-pipps-podcast-releases.html

Spoiler: ShowHide
For this Nightmare Night special episode, the song and dance segment at the beginning (and end) obviously featured the similarly themed song from one of the recent Tell Your Tale episodes, and the in-universe advertisement in the middle featured Sunny's smoothie cart. This episode had multiple guests, starting with Izzy demonstrating how to carve a pumpkin lantern, then came Sunny to share her new "dark berry" smoothies, and finally Hitch and his critters arrive with some kind of beetle that makes spooky song noises (and if you're wondering why Zipp is the only one of this group to not show up, a text sent at the end of the episode reveals she had mistakenly thought the episode would be done a day later that it actually was, causing her to completely miss out). Overall, one of my favorite episodes of this series so far (though I'm still looking forward to when Zipp will finally make an actual appearance).

And here's this week's new episode of Tell Your Tale:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypZwAw6YRZ8

Spoiler: ShowHide
While not exactly Nightmare Night themed, it certainly featured a lot of giant pumpkins. As we all know by now, Sparky's dragonfire power can transform objects into different things and turn them back to normal when applied a second time, which for this episode results in Pipp getting trapped inside one of the pumpkins. And with Zipp accusing Pipp of always asking her online followers for help and not coming up with any original ideas on her own, this discourages Pipp from taking the obvious idea of using her phone to let the others know where she is. While it was nice to see the return of Izzy's chef bot from one of the earliest episodes, I do have to question how no one ever noticed Pipp inside the giant pumpkin and later inside a giant hollow pie, let alone how Pipp went through that whole process practically unscathed. And when everyone panicked during Pipp's effort to escape, at least Zipp was the first to realize what was really going on, and once Pipp was finally free, Zipp acknowledged that she shouldn't have been so harsh to Pipp about trying to solve problems without help. Overall, while certainly better than the most recent episodes, this one still seemed rather mediocre compared to the entire series.

And it looks like my hope of seeing full episodes of Make Your Mark on YouTube were false, because the next video released was yet another compilation of random clips from the first four episodes, scattered around so much that I won't even bother linking it here. Though a more recent video features the song from episode 3, so I will at least share that one:

Issue 6 of the comics released yesterday, and here's a five page preview of it:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2022/10/my-little-pony-g5-comic-6-3-more-pages.html

A bunch of images from the upcoming Winter Wishday special that'll be out less than three weeks from now:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2022/10/14-more-pictures-of-my-little-pony-g5.html

This week's new episode of Pipp's Podcast:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2022/11/episode-6-of-pipps-podcast-releases-all.html

Spoiler: ShowHide
The special guest for this episode was Queen Haven (who acknowledges that she has listened to every episode of this podcast), with Jazz being so excited to meet her that she ends up fainted for half of the episode. While it's just Pipp and Haven talking, it's revealed that Zipp has once again failed to show up for an episode she was invited to, and when that frustrates Pipp, Haven demonstrates her remarkable diplomatic skills by reminding Pipp that Zipp has also been frustrated by some of the things Pipp has done over the years, specifically citing Zipp's most recent birthday party where Pipp tried to arrange a karaoke (which anyone who knows Zipp would know she would absolutely hate that). After the song and dance segment (featuring the party song), Jazz recovers just in time to participate in one of Haven's favorite games called "Once Upon a Time" where everyone takes turns telling a story one word at a time, often resulting in some rather silly endings. Finally, the episode ends with the usual quick answer of the same five questions. Overall, a nice episode, though I'm starting to suspect the running joke of Zipp failing to show up could mean we might not hear from her until practically the final episode.

This week's new episode of Tell Your Tale:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8JP67e7O8Q

Spoiler: ShowHide
We all know how obsessively creative Izzy can be, and when she is introduced to the concept of street art, she immediately and excitedly goes for it, even adopting the secret identity of "Sneaksy". Of course, it was almost inevitable there would be issues with how everyone would react to it, so while most welcome the new mystery artist, Hitch tries to strongly discourage it (especially after Queen Haven orders for one piece of wall art to literally be cut away and moved to Zephyr Heights, forcing the Main Five to rebuild and repaint that wall). Izzy soon understands why not even great art can be applied literally everywhere and the importance of permission for such popular works, so when she overhears Pipp's desire to have her own piece of Sneaksy art at Mane Melody, Izzy happily delivers on it. Overall, a rather good episode, and one I'm very grateful to see after the recent string of poor episodes.

As for Make Your Mark content on the official YouTube channel, while there's yet another compilation video of various clips from episode 3, there's also this video featuring a song from episode 7 (though the visuals are just a compilation of various clips from that episode):

The first issue of the "Classics Reimagined" comic series "Little Fillies" is out (remember, this series features some G4 characters in the roles of characters in the "Little Women" novel):

Spoiler: ShowHide
The special guest for this episode was Posey Bloom, who you likely remember as the earth pony who complained the most against the return of magic during the Chapter 1 special of Make Your Mark. After the song and dance segment to help Posey calm her nerves (using the art song from last week's Tell Your Tale episode), Posey talks about how she initially hated magic because it brought so much change that it scared her and the earth ponies didn't have any magic at first, but once earth ponies got their magic, she was excited by how it made her gardening hobby so much easier (which she demonstrates to the point of getting a little carried away). After the in-universe advertisement for a promotional at Mane Melody, Posey decides to use all of the different flowers she had just grown for tea leaves, so the three mares try different combinations of tea (in the process, understanding that it's completely okay whether you decide to try something new and different or if you would prefer sticking with something plain and simple). After that, the episode ends with the usual quick answers to five questions (interestingly, Posey's favorite song turns out to be Izzy's trash song). Overall, while not exactly an exciting episode, it certainly was interesting to get a better idea of things from Posey's perspective.

And here's this week's new episode of Tell Your Tale:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HE-NeYLp-MA

Spoiler: ShowHide
This episode featured a holiday called Harvest and Hugs Day (apparently their version of Thanksgiving), with the main dish being a carrot cake (which I suppose makes sense considering all ponies are vegetarians). I don't have much to say about how everything kept escalating into bigger problems (though I did like the revelation that Zipp still has a mini oven that she used to use a lot back when she was a filly). Eventually, Queen Haven explains the reason she loves this holiday so much is because it was a rare opportunity to have the entire extended family come together, and even shows a picture of herself with all those other relatives, so that was certainly nice to see. Thankfully, once the tension was out of the way, everyone was able to work together to improvise a meal for the holiday. Overall, a relatively nice episode that I enjoyed watching.

Only a few more days until the Winter Wishday special comes out, and late last week, we finally got an actual trailer for it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0eR5a6dNac

Another clip from the special also just came out today, featuring a song:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Iz7PrQgfAo

For the weekly content, here's the new episode of Pipp's podcast:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2022/11/episode-8-of-my-little-pony-podcast.html

Spoiler: ShowHide
This episode featured three special guests, the three fillies Glory, Seashell, and Peach Fizz, who we know are huge fans of Pipp. (Personally, this is one of my least favorite episodes, mostly because I can't tell the difference between the voices of the three fillies, making it hard to follow unless they specifically mention one of them by name.) Obviously, they are so extremely excited to meet her that it takes some effort from Jazz and Pipp (including the song and dance segment featuring the bananas song) to finally get them to calm down. Among various things they talk about, the fillies mention that they first met each other during Pipp's very first performance at Mane Melody (courtesy of Peach Fizz spilling her smoothie), which makes sense considering they're different kinds of ponies and never would have known about each other before magic returned. The fillies then participate in a game of fan trivia, with the prize for correctly answering a question about Pipp being a backstage pass to Pipp's next concert. Glory and Peach Fizz correctly answer their questions, but Seashell didn't (technically, it was correct but incomplete), and since the other two refuse to go without her, they offer to give up their special passes they won. However, Pipp is so touched by their dedication of friendship to each other that she rewards them the third pass as well. After finishing the episode with the usual quick answering of the same five questions, it's mentioned that this will be the final episode of the season, so we'll have to wait and see if any more episode will come out sometime later. Overall, while definitely not among my favorite episodes, at least I appreciate hearing a little backstory about those three fillies. Also, if this really is the end of the first season, then I'm quite disappointed that Zipp never got to make an appearance at all, so I can only hope there will be a second season sometime in the near future.

And also, here's this week's new episode of Tell Your Tale:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11dsOsSBSgc

Spoiler: ShowHide
I have to admit, Izzy and Zipp working together to fix up that old tram car and turn it into the Mare Stream flying RV is exactly the kind of episode I was hoping to see ahead of the Winter Wishday special, and it seems this came with perfect timing as it's literally the last one before the release of that special. While I knew that a runtime of just five minutes meant we were unlikely to see many specifics of how the work in progress would go, I did not expect the magical lantern would instantly magically transform a partially successful repair project into a fully finished technological wonder (kind of a cheep move, but that's literally the only thing I have against this entire episode). Interestingly, the montage of Izzy and Zipp working together (after they figured out that working separately was getting them nowhere) also includes the work song from one of the very earliest episodes of this series (when the Main Five renovated the Crystal Brighthouse). I also liked the additional parts, such as Izzy trying to fly by levitating a hang glider she's holding onto, as well as Izzy using a homemade parachute to prevent the vehicle from crash landing after accidentally disconnecting the magic lantern power source. Overall, definitely among my favorite episodes of the entire Tell Your Tale series.

The Winter Wishday special will be available to watch on Monday, so I'll make a separate post within a day or two of that to share a summary and my thoughts on it.

Winter Wishday will officially be available on Netflix tomorrow, so here's two more preview clips that have come out in the last few days:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-i_ShnRabE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUR76EjjfVo

I will update this post after I've had a chance to watch the special, so I can share my thoughts on it.
EDIT: and here it is...
Spoiler: ShowHide
Winter Wishday has arrived in Maretime Bay, and Sunny is eager to celebrate it with her friends for the first time. However, Hitch had promised to celebrate it with his Grandma Figgy, Izzy wants to celebrate Wishiehoof by going to Bridlewood and hanging an ornament on the wishing tree, and Pipp and Zipp have a royal obligation to perform in a concert to celebrate Wishentine. Not wanting to interfere with any of those plans, Sunny agrees for everyone to attend all of those celebrations before returning home in time to watch the Wishing Star. Visiting all those distant places in a single day seems impossible, until Izzy and Zipp decide to reveal a secret project they've been working on, which is converting an old tram car into a flying vehicle, and while it doesn't look like much at first, Sunny's magic lantern suddenly transforms it into a very spectacular vehicle that resembles an RV with wings, which Izzy decides to call the Marestream.

Despite what is apparently the first snowfall the coastal town of Maretime Bay has ever seen, the main ponies fly in the Marestream to their first destination, which is Grandma Figgy's house. Hitch explains to his friends that his grandma always wants everything done in a particular way for the holiday, but once they meet her, it quickly becomes clear that it's actually Hitch who insists on following the exact same holiday tradition, and that Grandma Figgy actually welcomes some changes, though the others are respectful enough to Hitch to play along with the traditions (while also doing some new things when he's not paying attention). After enjoying some hot cocoa, looking through a few photo albums, and building some gingerbread houses, the main ponies say goodbye to Grandma Figgy (who also allows Zipp to borrow a book about ancient holiday legends) and depart in the Marestream.

They next arrive in Bridlewood, and after Izzy provides everyone with scarves to protect against the colder than usual weather, they head to the Wishing Tree, where the unicorns each hang an ornament to supposedly ward off any misfortune. Despite her friends running on a tight schedule, Izzy takes some time to greet many of the other unicorns, using the traditional holiday greeting of "Frosty Feelings". Even after Izzy finally gets around to hanging her ornament, she's so pleased to see everyone that her friends practically have to drag her away just so they can leave on time.

After a terrifying flight through a blizzard to reach Zephyr Heights, Pipp gives some VIP tickets to the others so they can relax in a special suite at the theater before the royal Wishentine concert, while Pipp and Zipp follow their holiday tradition of window shopping with their mom, Queen Haven. After a while, it's time for the concert performance, and Zipp and Pipp (and their friends) are shocked to discover that it's been expanded to six acts. Once the royal performance is finally done, the main ponies try to rush back to the Marestream, but can't find it under the immense snowfall. They are soon able to find it, thanks to making a wish on Sunny's magic lantern, and once they climb inside, Zipp realizes that (according to the book she had borrowed) the blizzard is being caused by all the unicorns who are unaware their holiday greeting is actually a magic spell that brings cold weather.

To stop the blizzard, the main ponies rush back to Bridlewood and warn the now freezing unicorns about what they've been unknowingly unleashing. Izzy suggests changing the holiday greeting to "Warm Wishiehoof", and once enough unicorns start using it, the blizzard soon clears away. With that problem solved, the main ponies return to the Crystal Brighthouse just in time to watch the Wishing Star soar through the sky. Although none of them have any gifts to exchange, Sunny is just happy that they were all able to enjoy their holiday celebrations together.

First of all, I think it's fair to say that due to the three tribes being separate for a very long time, the old holiday known as Hearth's Warming (which celebrated the first unification of ponies) would have ended up forgotten, and in its place developed three different versions celebrated by each of the formerly separated tribes. The fact that some of the holiday songs even have the same melody but with different words would seem to indicate that. At Grandma Figgy's house, one moment that I found really notable was one of the photos we saw was when Sunny and her dad once celebrated Winter Wishday with Hitch and Figgy, which was really touching when you consider that Argyle is not around anymore. In Bridlewood, it was nice to see Alphabittle make his first appearance since the movie (not counting Tell Your Tale) along with that poet pony (who is apparently named Onyx), and that we apparently got to see some of those bunnycorn creatures (albeit quite different from how they're depicted in Tell Your Tale) as well. At Zephyr Heights, while I expected Zipp to dislike participating in the concert or wasting time with window shopping, I was quite surprised to see Pipp sharing the same feelings as well (I guess the urgency of going through all the other holiday celebrations in one day might've gotten to her). Some amusing things were the pegasus guards trying to pass off the decorative empty presents as containing clouds, and the concert running so long that almost everyone grew bored and tired by the end of it (except Queen Haven, who seemed to be the only one who remained enthusiastic the whole time). Finally, it should be noted that while we know unicorns are capable of many magic spells, we've thus far seen them only use levitation of objects, so this is virtually the first time that any of them became aware that their magic can do other incredible things, so it'll be interesting to see what other magic spells they might rediscover later on in the series.

Overall, a nice holiday special to close out the first year of new episodes, complete with a lesson in enjoying the holidays with friends and family regardless of how you celebrate them.

Aside from the release of Winter Wishday earlier this week, not much new significant things to share. No new episode of Pipp's Podcast, so I guess the first season of that series really is finished. Pretty much the only thing there is to share in this week's post is the new episode of Tell Your Tale:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hR5Anw7wsA8

Spoiler: ShowHide
Since the Winter Wishday special mentioned that Maretime Bay had never had any significant snowfall before, of course one of the first Tell Your Tale episodes to follow that special was going to feature how the ponies who live there would react to it. While it's nice that almost everyone is able to have a good time in the snow, it seems Posey is once again the one earth pony who hates anything new, and often ends up subjected to all kinds of abuse along the way. At least Posey got a happy ending in this case thanks to Sparky, whose previous use of dragon fire around her didn't go so well, so it was certainly nice to see them getting along better this time. Also of note, I'm a little confused by the design of those pony versions of snowboards, where apparently the boots are not attached to the board at all.

I almost forgot to post this week's update...

Anyway, a new mobile game has recently been announced, which will be exclusive to Apple Arcade, so here's some info, images, and a trailer for that upcoming game:

And as usual, here's this week's new episode of Tell Your Tale:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyqzof5KbfA

Spoiler: ShowHide
Looks like we can expect the next few episodes to be holiday themed, with this one featuring Sunny going through a lot of effort to bake holiday cookies just like what each of her friends used to enjoy. It was interesting to see another example of the different cultures between the three pony kinds, with Grandma Figgy teaching to "bake with your heart", Alphabittle teaching a highly superstitious baking ritual, and a royal secret recipe locked inside a vault in the Zephyr Heights palace. I thought it was great that Sunny was ultimately successful after so many struggles and failures, so I would consider this one of the better episodes of this series.

Issue 7 of the comics was released this week, and here's a three-page preview of it:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2022/12/3-page-preview-for-my-little-pony-g5.html

Spoiler: ShowHide
Another holiday themed episode, and this time we're back to the antics of Opaline demanding Misty to capture Sparky. After several gags, I knew right away that Misty had accidentally captured Cloudpuff instead of Sparky (and since Cloudpuff was wearing a sleeping mask the whole time, all the ponies and their friends still remain completely unaware that Opaline even exists). I'm also curious about exactly what kind of magic the main ponies had used while wishing on that wishing star at the beginning of the episode, so hopefully a future episode might further explain that. Not much else to say on this episode, so I'll consider this one as simply average.

I'll admit, I missed out on MLP when it had its moment in the spotlight. However, I am familiar with it due to my involvement with two of its fanworks. The first, and the one that also made me rediscover LBT, is Equestria at War, a total conversion modification for the WW2 grand strategy Hearts of Iron IV set in a magitech dieselpunk version of Gen 4's world, featuring complex narratives, politics, nation-building, and warfare:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1826643372

It's quite a fun play if you have HoI IV and it inspired me to create my own dieselpunk world, Paravian.

Another MLP story I've followed is an interactive fanfiction that crosses over with Cultist Simulator. The players vote on the actions of Velvet Covers, a noblemare who has been inducted into the occult world that hides behind Equestria's shiny exterior. She must brave the House of the Sun to find a way to save her world from annihilation:

https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com/threads/esquestria-the-house-of-the-sun-a-pony-cultist-experience.71721/

MLP and cosmic horror is a strange combination, but it works quite well and I've taken some inspiration from it in The Lands Beyond, my upcoming Outer Wilds/LBT crossover quest also on Sufficient Velocity

Not much new to report this week. The second issue of the "Little Fillies" comic miniseries came out a few days ago, but I'm not going to bother posting a link for it because I can't help but feel like that particular comic series has proven to be of rather low quality.

Anyway, here's this week's new episode of Tell Your Tale:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgLnmIPZyrU

Spoiler: ShowHide
This episode obviously demonstrates the old Secret Santa tradition of giving a gift to someone without revealing to anyone who you are gifting to, only with Izzy being more dramatic with the concept and insisting that her friends should create their gifts instead of buying something. While they never directly revealed who gifted which gift, it was very easy to figure out who they were. While it was also obvious that the others are hardly as good with crafting as Izzy, at least some convenient dragon fire from Sparky vastly improved the gifts (except the one Izzy received, which she felt was already perfect as it was), so maybe we might see one or two of those items again at some point later in the series.

A few things regarding the comics, to start off. First, here's a two-page preview of issue 8 that'll be out in two weeks:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2022/12/two-page-preview-for-my-little-pony-g5.html

The synopsis for issue 11 has been released (and I must admit, it does sound kind of interesting):
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2022/12/my-little-pony-g5-comic-11-gets-synopsis.html

And the comic that just released this week is a special 10th anniversary edition of the very first issue of the Friendship is Magic comic series, and included with it is a special short bonus comic:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2022/12/my-little-pony-friendship-is-magic-1.html

With all of that out of the way, here's this week's Tell Your Tale episode:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESmfo8mS-EA

Spoiler: ShowHide
Pipp attempts to show her followers everything she does all day, apparently in an effort to reach a hundred million followers, all because Hitch had once made an off-hand remark about Sparky possibly having that many followers if he had a social media account. Somewhat not surprisingly, Pipp exhausts herself to the point of falling sick in bed, and Hitch feels bad about unintentionally causing it, so he helps her to relax. While Pipp does in fact reach a hundred million followers thanks to Sparky recording that heartwarming moment, Hitch wisely puts away Pipp's phone to keep her mind off of social media so she can get some much needed rest. I think the lesson here of not working yourself too hard and taking time to care for yourself can apply to many of us (myself included in some ways) and not just social media influencers. Overall, easily one of the better episodes of this series, in my opinion.

Not much of interest this week, so I'll just go right to this week's new episode of Tell Your Tale:

So, basically, two of the three Pippsqueak fillies get lost in the woods while everyone is gathering in Bridlewood for a fireworks display, and while everyone is eager to help search for them, the three tribes have their own ideas and don't even consider working together until Sunny gets everyone's attention by using her magical alicorn form and insists everypony must work together. Once Sunny finds the missing fillies, she guides everyone along a trail to help the fillies make their was out into the clearing where everyone is gathered. While it's interesting to see there are still lingering tendencies for the ponies to stick with their own kind and they must occasionally be reminded to work together, I personally thought the method of using "cutie mark glow" to mark the escape trail seemed a little too out there. Overall, not a bad episode, but not really a great one either.

Issue 8 of the comics just released, and here's a five page preview of it:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2023/01/four-page-preview-for-tomorrows-my.html

And here's this week's new episode of Tell Your Tale:

Spoiler: ShowHide
I usually don't care at all for anything related to beauty products, but this episode did intrigue me a little because of Izzy offering to help Pipp by showing her the Bridlewood version of a spa, which mostly involves the use of mud from a special bog (which Izzy calls the "Spog"). Pipp is initially disgusted by it, but after accidentally leaving some of it on her hair for a while and seeing the results, she realizes how great it actually is, and becomes more open to endorsing it when Izzy provides her with some bottles of that mud that she had mixed with other ingredients to make it more visually appealing. (For those who dismiss Izzy for being too silly all the time, I would point to this as an example that she really does use some smarts and common sense at some moments.) Overall, despite covering a subject I'm never fond of, it was a rather decent episode.

I'm sure that us fans of LBT can easily remember which episode of the TV series uses a similar theme and lesson. ;)

The third part of the "Little Fillies" comic miniseries recently came out, but again I won't bother posting any links as what I've seen so far continues to be of rather poor quality.

There's some official guidebook due to release sometime next month, though apparently it's been released early in some places, so now we're aware that this book will present us with some new information that had previously never really been explained in any of the shows.
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2023/01/sunnys-book-of-adventure-released-early.html

Surprisingly enough, no new episode of Tell Your Tale is on this week. Apparently, that series has now switched to a bi-weekly schedule, so the next episode won't be out until next week.

And just revealed today, the very first official suggestion that the new generation of MLP will eventually make their first appearance in Equestria Girls:

Well, there's practically nothing new this week worth mentioning. Apparently, the next new episode of Tell Your Tale won't be out until next week, for some reason. Also, Tell Your Tale episodes will eventually become available to watch on Netflix at some point later this year. And, uh... that's pretty much it.

Some interesting things to share this week. First, the synopsis for comic issue 12 has been revealed:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2023/01/synopsis-for-my-little-pony-g5-comic-12.html

Also announced was the first of a series of special compilation comics from the G4 series featuring specific characters, starting with the best of Twilight Sparkle, which will be available in early May (though it should be noted there will not be anything new added in, so these will all be just reprints):
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2023/01/my-little-pony-best-of-twilight-sparkle.html

A few interesting things about G5 content has also been revealed, such as an official height chart, color chart, some lore behind each of the three settlements, some new information about each of the main five ponies, and more:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2023/01/official-size-chart-for-g5-ponies-and.html
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2023/01/g5-my-little-pony-toolkit-for-2022.html

Finally, the unexpected hiatus of Tell Your Tale is already over, so here's the new episode (I guess they wanted to wait so it would premiere closer to the holiday being featured in it):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8QU-EmZs7s

Spoiler: ShowHide
So now we see another holiday from G4 continue in G5, and this time it's Hearts and Hooves Day. Izzy is very enthusiastic for that holiday, but with much of Maretime Bay seeming to care very little about it, Izzy quickly tries everything she can to encourage the spirit of the holiday, but her efforts only cause many problems throughout the town. Zipp eventually helps Izzy to understand it'll take time and a much more relaxed effort to convince other ponies that Hearts and Hooves Day would be worth celebrating. I've often noted how surprisingly realistic this show tends to portray various issues, and I'd consider this episode another excellent example, because it shows that if some people don't care much for a certain holiday, trying to repeatedly shove it in their faces will not make them appreciate it more, but rather is more likely to make them care even less about it. Overall, despite my personal preferences not being favorable for the featured subject, I'd consider this a rather good episode.

No new episode of Tell Your Tale this week, so it seems the new bi-weekly schedule could very well be true. We'll see for sure about that by next week.

Issue 9 of the comics was released this week, and it seems that after the last few issues featuring filler content, this issue will finally continue the main storyline of the series. Here are the preview pages (in separate posts, because neither of them include all of those pages):

The fourth and final part of the "Little Fillies" comic miniseries has released. Once again, I have no desire to share any links regarding that due to the poor quality and extensive "creative liberties" I've been seeing from that series, so I'm just glad it's finally over and hopefully they can move on to something better.

An official guidebook for G5 MLP has recently released, titled "Sunny Starscout's Book of Adventure", which basically describes Sunny's point of view from the events of the New Generation movie and the Make Your Mark series:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2023/02/sunny-starscouts-book-of-adventure-my.html

Finally, here's this week's new episode of Tell Your Tale:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZ2fX6kdNgk

Spoiler: ShowHide
So now we have an episode centered around the pony version of Carnival. Also, with Misty once again following Opaline's evil schemes, they try to use something called "blazeberries", the scent of which causes critters to become fiercely enraged. While the intended target of Sparky managed to avoid the effects with a perfectly timed sneeze, the resulting haze gets to all the other critters and they chase Hitch and Sparky into the abandoned Canter-Logic factory (always nice to see that place, especially since we've still yet to see the interior in the main series). Although the other main ponies are unaware of this due to getting ready for the festival, once they realize Hitch is missing, Zipp is able to figure out what happened, then brings her friends with her to help Hitch by using hair dryers to blow away the blazeberry fog and allow the critters to return to normal. Overall, not a favorite mine nor one that I dislike, so pretty much a rather decent episode in my opinion.

And since this confirms Tell Your Tale is now on a bi-weekly schedule, I will probably not bother posting an update at all next week, unless some other significant news comes out within the next week that's worth sharing.

For the comics, the synopsis of issue 13 has been revealed:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2023/02/my-little-pony-g5-comic-13-synopsis.html

Here's a two page preview of issue 10 (though I can't remember when exactly that issue is due to be released, but it is the next comic due to come out):
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2023/02/blog-post.html

Also, the entire Tell Your Tale series (at least as far as episodes that have already released on YouTube) will become available to watch on Netflix on March 27:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2023/02/my-little-pony-tell-your-tale-heading.html

And finally, here's this week's new episode of Tell Your Tale:

So, yeah, Sparky has an upset stomach, much of the episode was spent on the main ponies trying everything they can to help him feel better, and just when Misty arrives to follow Opaline's order to kidnap that dragon, Sunny figures out the cure by blending together all of the various foods that Sparky's dragon fire had created into a single gross smoothie and feeds it to Sparky, resulting in that toxic gas being released all at once right in Misty's face. As I'm sure you can imagine, fans are already losing their minds over perhaps the most blatant fart joke yet seen in this series. Personally, while this episode is hardly among my favorites, I just don't really hate it that much, so I guess it really depends on whether or not you can handle seeing one fart joke.

Issue 10 of the G5 comics came out last week, finally concluding the first major story arc. here's a five-page preview:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2023/02/5-page-preview-for-g5-my-little-pony-10.html

For those of you who enjoy listening to the songs and music, volume 3 of the Tell Your Tale soundtrack has released:
https://www.equestriadaily.com/2023/03/tell-your-tale-vol-3-soundtrack.html

And as usual, here's this week's new episode of Tell Your Tale:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuAwT-9QCpQ

Spoiler: ShowHide
Sunny wants to introduce new smoothie flavors to everyone, but struggles to get anyone to even try anything other than their usual orders. She decides to make it easier for everyone to try new flavors by utilizing Izzy's baker bot, but a test run with her friends causes the robot to overload and start spraying smoothies all over town. They attempt to minimize the mess by simply eating the smoothies flying around before they hit anything, and once the robot finally shuts down, they discover they actually like the new flavor that essentially is a bit of everything, which they decide to call the "alicorn special". I will say that as silly as things got with that malfunctioning smoothie robot, it could've been much worse (let's just say the consequence of excessive consumption doesn't appeal to everyone, so I'm glad we didn't really see that here). Also interesting to note is that Misty got to be included with Sunny's friends, all without any interference from Opaline demanding yet another crazy scheme to kidnap Sparky, so this was actually quite a nice change of pace for that particular pony. Overall, a relatively good episode.
