I'm pretty sure that's the wrong Spike.

LOL, yeah I saw that on EQD too.

Woah, EQD is still on?? I wouldn't have expected that seeing how they had problems for posting things without permission and such.

What is EQD?
Equestria Daily is some sort of a digital journal for pony-related aspects. It was one of the first pony-related sites out there, but it has grown really strong and it's a reference source for the everyday brony (although a lot of people seem to hate it due to some of it's policies; "We accept everything" they said, but I have met people who have sent them material by the hundreds and none of them was ever published, nor a reply was never received).

Personally, I don't mind the site at all, and I think that it is a bit overrated.

Well, they DO Have to have standards. They can't just accept every poorly written piece of crap that gets forwarded to them.

I know, but some of them were truly masterpieces with hundreds of favorites on DeviantART and stuff... I just don't get it.

Besides, I have seen some poorly made paint drawings making it to the site.

Erm, that's subjective. Point being it is not an official site and is still run by fallible human beings. Even if they do sometimes let something in that they shouldn't, well, to error is human.

Nice.  I had assumed that their work on the Equestria Girls movie would delay the start of Season 5.

Fair enough, my friend.

Of course, he was right all along (I still don't like that site, but he was right :)).

For anyone who might be interested, a charity livestream by one of the most well known MLP fan artists, Jananimations, is about to start.

You might know him from videos like Button's Adventures and Picture Perfect Pony.

All needed information can be found here, including the stream link:

See you there :) I go by the name of DerpyRocks in that chat.

Also, my buddy finished another drawing:

And here's the source: http://fav.me/d8dwia3
Go and give him some (deserved) favourites :D

Before anyone panics, I'd just like to point out that a recent update on Equestria Daily confirms that the "somepony will die" tweet was just a joke. Just ignore it and move on...

Not to mention, a lot of people we're curious when they said 7 main characters.  The seventh one was Spike.  So many forget him. :D

And how about that owl character? Is he THAT irrelevant?

While not irrelevant Owlowiscious' role doesn't really get him anywhere near the significance of Spike. Not only for lack of speaking ability but also for much less frequent appearance. In spite of his unquestionable intelligence Owlowiscious seems to be set a bit more on the same level as Tank, Angel, Gummy, Opalescense and Winona. It may be a bit unfair (since we rarely see him in the role as Twilight's nighttime assistant), but Owlowiscious is considered more of a pet while calling Spike that would sound a bit like snide.

100% Agreed. I haven't seen the series in so long that I forgot how much he has appeared.
