Because she's had to survive 12 more movies worth of natural disasters than he's had. It starts taking it's toll after a while.

In LBT 2, when Littlefoot goes to sleep, there's a treestar ith water next to him. The next morning, when he lays back down, the treestar is gone. What happened?
