Looks like the latest episode actually had a little request in it from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Yep! The Wheelchair Pony was voiced by a kid who wished to be part of the show. That is awesome!

LIVE STREAM POST!

Okay, before I begin, I want to say that today and next week, due to early work schedules, I won't be able to watch the newest episodes live and will have to wait until after work to watch them. I'll make sure to at least give my thoughts on the episodes.

Anyways, for today's episode, Rarity struggles to come up with a new idea for her dresses. Spike decides to fix it with a spell that results in both good and bad ideas. Gee, how bad could it get?

A rather interesting episode. Spike sure can be quite naive. Good thing he eventually realized the mistake he made and put a stop to it. Also nice to see that pet owl (I'm not even gonna bother trying to spell his name) having a somewhat significant role. Finally, we got another mention of dark magic (in this case, a spell that gradually takes over Rarity, making her completely insane). Makes me curious about what else could be out there.

Just three episodes left to go, over the next two weeks.

REVIEW POST!!

Take it from someone who has noticed it too well. It is difficult to admit when you've done something wrong for the one you love, especially when it makes them happy. As such, I don't find it surprising that Spike had difficulty telling Rarity the truth of how bad she was making things. It's no surprise to me that it took a breaking point for him to do the one thing needed to break the spell.

Overall, I did enjoy it, but it's not one of the greats of this season. Still, it was good for what we got.

Next up, it's the Equestria Games, and Spike gets to light the torch, but he's too nervous to do so! He takes drastic action to prove he is as brave as he says he is. I'm calling it, Twilight won't get her key here! (Sorry fans, but it's NOT happening until the last episode.)

It's the knee-jerk first reaction posts that you are seeing. Basically just first impressions on the first thing you notice, and let's face it, it's the way the character looks that is the first thing you notice of them. I don't consider those REAL reviews as they have yet to explore the main core of it.

I just simply ignore first impressions of such things these days.

Anyways, on to what I want to post.

Quite an interesting episode. Looks like Spike's role in saving the Crystal Empire back at the beginning of season 3 has had quite an impact on how the crystal ponies see him: practically as great and "brave" as any of the princesses. Being placed on such a high pedestal, it's no wonder he freaked out at the torch lighting. Despite some further humiliation, at least he was able to eventually get over his fears of being a disappointment.

Season finale next week. Can't wait to see it.
