Recently there was a snowstorm.
But generally, it's nice beginning of the winter here. with constant freezy temperature, snow, and almost without ice where you can fall.

Definitely got cold and windy the last few days, but at least things should start to improve soon. While I was fortunate to have never lost the power at my house during that winter storm, several over homes in the area did lose power for some time, including my grandmother who had considered staying over with me and my parents until power was restored at her home after just over a day. Also, while on the road to visit the new home my brother and his wife recently moved into, my family and I had noticed quite a few trees had toppled over from the storm, one of which even landed on someone's house (no idea who lived there or how they're doing now, but the roof was definitely damaged).

From last Thursday to yesterday, it was very warm for this time of year in Vermont, up to 80F (hot enough that I decided to put in the air conditioner in my room the day before that hot weather began). Today, it's raining and temperatures later this week are expected to drop back to a more seasonably average.

It has now been almost a week since the last time temperatures exceeded 80F, and next week's highest temperatures are expected to barely reach 70F. After how hot this summer has been, I'm looking forward to cooler weather over the next few months.

On the plus side, weather in my area is around what you'd expect for spring, now sort of heading into summer. Temperate temperatures, relatively cool at night still, temperatures range from cool in day time to warm, but not anything summer hot yet. Warmest it had gotten so far was around 82°F, but that was for one day.

Also, April 25th was the last day during this year where my area experienced a low temperature that was (close) to the freezing point.

I'm loving how it feels today. So-o-o much cooler and less humid compared to the rest of the summer days so far. Only getting up to a high of 75°F, but the dewpoint is at a very comfortable 40°F, leaving the humidity at just below or around 30%.

Unfortunately this only lasts a day, tomorrow is cloudy and much more humid, then even worse with Thunderstorms on Sunday. Well, still better than sunny and humid though, to be fair. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, not looking too bad, but still not close to being as good as today.
