They do. They are currently negotiating with the animators to make the coloring better. And more accurate.

becuse someone accidently spilt coffie all over the first film as it was in the makeing, thus, they had to wash it out, dulling the colors

Why do in some episodes and sequels, the number of Petrie's siblings are a lot, while in other sequels and epis, the sibling number decreases?
