I'm not a fan of apocalypse theories (Y2K was disappointing enough), but I'll still see this.

I don't care much for apolcolyptical themes, and I don't believe in the Mayans' 2012 doomsday prediction. Not sure if I'll watch this one.

You know, they never actually predicted doomsday. Their calander just stops in 2012.

I thought they predicted the date to be December 21, 2012. At least that's what I had learned in World History :unsure:.

I think that was the date they were supposed to reset their calendars.

The effects certainly looked amazing, but I'm also not a believer in end of the world theories. I might still see this. It certainly looks better than Day After Tomorrow

Don't be too sure. They even used the same scene from Independance Day with the plane taking off as the runway explodes beneath it in the trailer. My guess is it'll just be a rehash of this group's other films.
