Collaborative Project?

So, I'm still smackdab in the middle (actually not even that far) of my latest fanfic, which I'm enjoying quite a bit. However, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a collaborative story with me at the same time. Details right now are minimal. I was thinking that if someone was interested, I could talk to that particular author about a potential storyline and work from there.

Just an idea. Let me know what you think!

Hmm, I may do that, although I'm currently working on another fanfic, which I'm in the middle of.

That's a pretty good idea, too, although the one I'm currently working on is kind of my baby, not to sound selfish. I'd been planning it for a while. Still, chomper98, if you're up for this, let me know!

I could try this, but I may not be able to devote as much time to this, as, like you said about your fanfic, I've been planning for a while, so I will think about it.

Alright, cool. Any ideas for a plot, time, and/or setting? If not, I can work these as well.

I got an idea, a main character is killed on an adventure, Chomper is blamed, and he is exiled(though he just barely avoids the death penalty.) Redclaw finds him, and tries to kill him, but he escapes, and finds his parents, dead, and killed by leaf-eaters, the ones that exiled him. He starts hating the leaf-eaters, and soon, Sharptooth, who survived, reveals that he was Chomper's uncle, and that Littlefoot and the others tried to kill him, this basically turns Chomper to the dark side, and he begins to train to exact revenge on the Great Valley, though not with an army, systematically hunting main characters down. Thats my idea, tell me if you like it.

I like it. I was actually thinking of something different, however (which does not mean I prefer it, of course). What about doing a story that happens at the same time as the LBT timeline, but with different characters, outside of the Great Valley? It allows for a lot of writing freedom, and there's no rule saying the characters couldn't meet the gang at some point, as well.

Just a shot in the dark on my part. Let me know what you think. Plot details could follow, if you want. I've been tossing around a few ideas of my own.

Absolutely. I've already got one in development. I could see this being quite a bit of fun. If you want to give this a shot, send me a character description when you can. I'm in no hurry, since this thing's still in the brainstorming stages. I'll try to throw a couple of plot ideas out, which you can also contribute to, and we can pick the best out of that group. Once a plot is set, I'll finalize my character.

I'm always interested in working with someone on a fanfiction.

I have a lot of ideas that people might be interested in. The main problem is that I often struggle to find enough time to do the actual writing. (I've recently decided to resume work on my fanfic, so I should know.) The best contribution I can give to anyone on writing fanfiction is to explain a basic framework of what I imagine to story will be like, along with some dialogue I've come up with. Detailed descriptions are something I'm not good with at all. :unsure:
