The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all of you! We usually don't get presents for christmas, but mom was nice this year and gave me a Lion King Bluray disc as well as a computer game (LEGO Harry Potter year 5-7) biggrin.gif

Yeah...we don't usually get presents either but I'm currently enjoying the gift cards and tips I've gotten from random Christmas spirited people. Plus I rewarded myself by buying myself some Oreos. :)
Yum! I gave myself a little present too ^^ Bought an underwater camera :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I Got:
A nice new shirt for work
A blue tie
Batman: Arkham City game
A Green Bay Packers cap
A Rainbow Dash T-Shirt (Feelin' 20% cooler already)
A Halo Mega Blocks kit
25 dollars cash
A 75 dollar gift card to the mall

We have a tradition for our Christmas dinners. On Christmas Eve, we simply order a pizza; then on the next day we have the ham.

God Bless!

Christmas rocked! I got:

A new computer from my uncle, which I'm using RIGHT  NOW
The new book in the inheritance series
Lots of candy
A mixed CD
A jar of Nutella
A Harry Potter Calender
A beanie
A light for my bike
The soundtrack to one of the harry potter films
And more!

I wish there'd be an LBT X-mas special, but they don't exactly celerbrate it. That didn't stop Ice Age from doing a Christmas special, though...

As for my presents, I got three hard-to-find Nintendo DS games.

Merry Christmas everyone! :)  Hopefully everyone was of good cheer and merry during the holiday season and experienced the true meaning of Christmas.

All I'll say about what I received is I think my parents secretly came into some money because I don't know how they managed to get what they did for me and my sisters.

I don't ask for much for Christmas these days (mostly due to no more new Bionicle sets coming out). However, I do like the few gifts that I did receive this year.

I got two more Bionicle graphic novels, thus completing that collection of mine.

I also got something that I was actually pleasantly surprised to get (something that hasn't happened in years, to be honest). I got a 4D Cityscape puzzle, basically a puzzle of a particular city that includes miniature 3D models of many buildings in the city and a chart that tells you in chronological order when to put each building on the map. I actually got two of those puzzles: New York City and Washington D.C., which took me about 6 and 8 hours respectively to finish. Looks like I found something new to collect.

My friend got me a book, volume 13 of the BPRD graphic novel series (the organization Hellboy works for, before he quits).

I got myself some of dvd's & some blu-ray.  I'm still surprised at how cheap you can get some stuff on amazon.

Hey, everyone! I'm still alive (for better or for worse :p); I've just been spending too much time with my family this holiday season to visit the forum much. Sorry. :oops

Merry belated Christmas and happy new year to the GOF! :celebrate
