This game has sat idle for so long, I actually forgot about it for a while (as well as what my word was). The good news is that I now do actually remember what my answer is, and I would very much like to see if anyone can solve it, despite now being down to the last wrong guess allowed.

Well, I'm sorry to say that's not the correct answer. Normally I would accept only incorrect letters as guesses used up, but I'll give some mercy and call an end to this round. The correct answer is...

Londinium

...which is the ancient Roman name for the city of London. At the time I had started this round, I was going through a brief fascination with the Roman Empire, mostly thanks to replaying CivCity Rome, an old game I had last played several years ago. I've long since completed everything there was to complete in that game and moved on to something else.

Anyway, I took some time to think of a new word for the next round, and I think I've got one that should be rather interesting...

The issue there was that you insisted that the word did not have the letter N in it, but rather the uniquely Spanish letter Ñ. It's not something you see on most keyboards, so if it's something that I must copy and paste from Wikipedia (which is exactly what I just did for this post), then I consider it too much effort for what's supposed to be a casual game. As far as I'm concerned, words in this game can be anything, so long as it doesn't include anything outside of the 26 letters of the English alphabet.
