The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

This is part of a remake of the 1995 film Balto, in which Balto, after the serum run, is adopted by Rosy's family, which is further part of my mega crossover fanfiction. Now, by all means, feel free to tell me where I can improve. Just be polite about it. I will not tolerate trolling. Enjoy!

Balto's New Life

Balto could not believe the new turn his life had taken. Just a few days ago, he was Nome's hated outcast, bullied and cruelly treated. Now, as a result of his efforts during the serum run, he was Nome's hero, Rosy's pet and Jenna's mate. Still, he had quite a bit to get used to. The first was his new collar. It was a fine collar, made from brown leather with a brass buckle. Not used to wearing it, he would occasionally rub at it. However, being in Jenna's company took his mind off of it. The gorgeous red husky looked at her mate.

"You'll get used to it, Balto," she said in a flirtatious tone, rubbing her tail under his chin as she passed by.

Balto smiled.

"So, are you glad to have me here?" he asked.

Jenna chuckled.

"Of course, handsome," she replied.

As she spoke, she walked him backward toward a large, comfortable cushion that served as their doggy bed. Suddenly, without warning, Jenna launched forward and knocked Balto off his feet, causing him to land fully on the cushion. She smiled to herself.

"Pinned ya!" she exclaimed.

Balto narrowed his eyes playfully.

"All right, let me up," he said.

Jenna shook her head.

"Why would I when I have such a handsome, rugged and heroic wolf-dog to snuggle up to?" she asked.

Even in the dim light, Balto's eyes shone with love for his mate.

"And I'm glad to be the wolf-dog to help you keep the cold away," he said in a cocky, playful tone.

Jenna then moved off and cuddled up to her handsome wolf-dog.

"I'm glad to have you here too," she said.

Thus began the new life of Balto. However, as he rested and attempted to fall asleep, a thought came to his mind: Steele. What had happened to him? He looked at Jenna.

"Jenna, can I ask you something?" he said.

Jenna nodded.

"Ask," she said.

Balto looked deep into her eyes

"What do you think happened to Stee..." he began.

Jenna cut him off by placing a paw over his mouth.

"Don't talk about him. I don't want to hear unhappy things tonight," she said.

Balto smiled as Jenna removed her paw. After that, Jenna laid her head down. Slowly, her eyes closed. Now it was Balto's turn to smile. Jenna always looked positively angelic in his eyes, but she looked especially so as she slept.

"Sleep tight, beautiful," he said.

Balto then fell into deep slumber of his own. The hero of Nome still had many, many adventures ahead of him.
