That's exactly my point.  Nintendo is for everyone, not just for kids.  If I didn't translate that correctly then I apologize.  My charisma isn't exactly average.

Bragging about your friend beating Gears of War in four hours on the same day he got it isn't really impressive. That game is notoriously short from what I heard...

Nintendo games can be quite hard. Maybe not hard to complete the game, but getting 100% on some of them can be hard. Have you played F-Zero GX? The one for the Gamecube? Yeah, that game is hard. And good luck getting 100% on that game, that's the real challenge of it.

Sure not all Nintendo games are insanely hard or anything, but that's not the point of gaming. Nintendo aims for making fun and enjoyable games, and boy do they deliver on that aspect. Super Smash Bros. is one of THE most enjoyable videogame series on the market and are played by everyone and even on a professional level.

Nintendo is not kiddy, they're for everyone.

And what about the Metroid Prime trilogy? They certainly weren't easy, even just to complete. But they were enjoyable nonetheless.

Challenging or not, the important thing is if they're fun. I'd get a fun game than a very challenging game where the fun will be sucked right out of it because of the insane difficulty.

Take the game Ninja Gaiden for example for the NES. That game is INCREDIBLY hard to the point where you want to smash the controller into the ground. I tried (and I own) that game a hundred times but I rue the difficulty of that game. Fun the first few times, but then it gets annoying.

Damn birds floating on random pits hitting me to my doom! XD

Quoted for the truth. Nintendo created a lot of great games, but they are targeted for a much diverse audience. Besides, not all Nintedo games are "kiddy" as you have rationalized them out to be. The Metroid Prime games were for an older audience. The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess had a dark atompshere to it, and it was rated T. The main thing here is the games are fun and enjoyable. Super Smash Brothers Brawl is one the funnest games to play, and agreeing to what Keni said, there are people who've play the game in major video game leauges.

BTW, mcr, you had no right to harrass Cyberlizard on this fourm. That's stirctly against site rules.

So true.  One thing I approve of, especially in Smash Bros: Five difficulties, ranging from very accessable to very difficult, even for experts.

Oh!  And Contra!  I know it's not exactly a Nintendo first party product.  But good god, those games were what really defined hard.  And their extremely challenging difficulty continues on the DS with Contra 4.  I unlocked Contra on that game and I have Super C for the NES, and it took me a full month to beat Contra 4 on easy.  I still have yet to finally complete it on Normal, then Hard.

You know what I mean. xP Lucarios can breed in Diamond and Pearl.   lol  It's not like they're legendary and they don't have a gender.   :lol

If you have Diamond or Pearl you already would have already seen a female Lucario.  And if Lucario was legendary, then a gym leader AND the champion wouldn't have one.  Lucario also has a pre-evolutionary form, Riolu.  Need I say more.  If you STILL don't believe me, ask any Pokemon fan that's "up-to-date" and they'll say the exact same thing.

To currently classify a Pokemon as legendary:

- The Pokemon must not evolve or have a pre-evolution.

- The Pokemon may have a gender, but must not be able to breed to create others of the same species (note that this does not exclude Manaphy).

- The Pokemon is found on a higher-than-normal level when special places are visited, or special events are fulfilled.

- The Pokemon is stated to be legendary in television shows or the game itself.

Lucario does not meet these qualifications - it is not legendary.

Some people may think it is legendary because of the movie - Lucario and the mystery of Mew, but it is just a special Pokemon that has the controll of something called the Aura.

Keep in mind, these are honest-to-god facts and not opinions.

I wasn't doubting that Lucarios couldn't breed, and I've never played the games.  Just seems that every Lucario shown outside of the games is male.

That's probably because the Titular Lucario of the movie was a male, so everyone associates the name Lucario with being male.

Take it from THIS die-hard Pokemon fan, Lucario IS NOT a legendary.

In fact, I shall now list EVERY legendary to clear it all up:

Articuno
Zapdos
Moltres
Mewtwo
Mew
Raikou
Suicune
Entei
Lugia
Ho-oh
Celebi
Regirock
Regice
Registeel
Groudon
Kyorge
Rayquaza
Latias
Latios
Jirachi
Deoxys
Azelf
Mespirit
Uxie
Manaphy
Phione (Note: Still being debated upon)
Dialga
Palkia
Heatran
Regigigas
Giratina
Cresselia
Darkrai
Shaymin (Yes, that one IS Lengendary.)
Arceus

And to think, people write fanfictions of them having kids. (Though I'm guilty of doing the same.)

Also, to further prove that Lucario isn't always male, I have a female one thank you very much.

Well, I hope this clears up everything.  If you have any further questions on Pokemon, please feel free to ask. :)

Legendary Pokemon can't have kids? What about Lugia? Wasn't there an episode that involved a Lugia female and her offspring?
