Honestly, there are a heck of a lot more things worse to like or be obsessed about than LBT.  Money, violence, drugs, drinking, skipping school, sex, video game addictions, vandalism, crimes, and many other things that teens around me do that I would consider much worse than something like liking a children's movie. Steroids anyone? :p

LBT really keeps me out of trouble and helps me to see that being "cool" by doing those things is not necessary and it has come to the point where it is not and will never be desired by me.  Without all my LBT and computer stuff to do in my spare time, I might have joined up with some of these crazy kids.

Hello:
You are most correct, besides, LBT has nothing wrong... except for the songs :lol . I bet Don Bluth and the makers of the sequels would be happy to know how LBT helps you and all of us :^.^: .

And heck, some of the songs are good. Yeah, I can think of any number of things to be obsessed with that would leave a negative impact on you, whereas I can't think of a single thing that LBT might to do someone. Well, other than the orignial sharptooth scaring the heck out of some of the smaller audience members, but still.

I'd rather have a liking to something innocent that doesn't do any harm, than something like Friday the 13th, which is known to desensitize people.

Hello:
Even though there were some real scary scenes on the original LBT, many of them were cutted (and never to be seen if I recall correctly), the movie is simply great, and that movie+sequels can really teach some great values, specially to the younger audiences (and hopefully new fans :D ).

It seems pretty obvious where at least some of the cuts were.  I think if they had put them back in for the dvd it may well have improved the movie.

Cut scenes from the land before time are one of the most interesting topics in my opinion. In case of another cartoon Don Bluth was involved with (Robin Hood 1973) a cut scene, an alternate ending that was considered to be too gloomy to be precise, was released on a DvD decades after the production of the movie. However Robin Hood was a Disney movie. Chances are that they have much more of an archivist mentality at Disney's than was the case with Don Bluth's own productions. I think we got several hints suggesting that the cut scenes from LBT were not just cut but actually destoyed :cry
I hope that this information is wrong, but I doubt we are ever going to see cut material from the original LBT movie. It would be interesting to know about what happens to the cut scenes from the sequels, but I suppose we can take it almost for granted that there won't be a rerealease of the sequels with additional material either. :(

Hello:
And I wonder why, LBT has a greater plot than many or most of the animated films. I really hope the information we have is wrong and we could see the cutted scenes of the original LBT. And even if they were really destroyed, well, at least to have the hope of a released script, at least for those parts, to see what we missed.

Movie companies never destroy anything.  That's not the issue.  The issue is, are we goin to be able to see it?  Well, probably not.  Well this has gone off topic here so I'll bring it back.  Does anyone here hide their love from LBT from everyone, even their own parents or someone else that's close to you?  C'mon, I know some of you personally that do that. :)

Hello:
In fact, yes, not because of embarrasment... well, just a bit.... maybe not just a bit, but to avoid questions and to avoid my brother trying to tell me that I must grow up that I must worry about my future blah blah blah. I do care about me and my future, but that doesn't mean I will quite watching and visiting pages for all things I like: TLBT, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, other things too.
i hide it, yes, I will stop hiding, yes, I will scream it, nope.

I'm afraid that if the movie company doesn't see any point in storing the material it might be destroyed. Though I hope that you are right about your assumption that they would never do it, I am afraid they might have. Anyway, I guess this discussion would belong into a different thread.

Yes, nearly all the time. I've told my mother only once or twice, but she didn't mind it at all. Still, I'm so willing to hide my love of LBT, that I visit this place only on the laptop in my room, which is practically a piece of junk. I'd like a replacement, but it still works okay and I'm still very willing to use it.

My sisters, Kylie and Jana, sometime go into the Shared folder on this computer to put songs on a CD, and they surely would have seen the LBT icons on LBT video clips I have stored in that folder. They aren't hard to miss. But they never said anything about it to me, not a single word.

That¥s nice that you have so nice sisters. I have no sisters and brothers, so I haven¥t got to be scared that anyone would see my liking of LBT on my PC. But I noticed too that girls don¥t say as much as boys about LBT. I know for excample many boys which would say something like :"Oh man, what is this for crap? Are you a baby? But girls which I told my loving about LBT just said:" Why you shouldn¥t like it, it¥s a very nice serie. Sure some girls said that it¥s a bit strange, but they say this in a different way as boys.

That's cuz females tend to be less blatant, crude, harsh, and rude than males.  I don't know why.  I've had much better experiences with females as well when it comes to LBT.  Many think it's a maturity thing, but I think it's just they guy's obsession with being "tough" or trying to act cool or some ridiculous crap like that. Not all guys are like that, but I'd say a good 80% of them are. <_<

Yes, sadly you got the real point. I know many guys from school which try to showing themselves with hustling other ones around and blly them. But in reality they are just so  brave cause they have much other idiots around them. I think alone they wouldn¥t do something like this. I hate those guys

The general difference between how a male and female thinks is probably due to the brain. The human male and female brains are wired differently. If I recall correctly, the male human brain uses one half to process thought and the other half to process emotion, but not vice versa. But in a female brain, both halves can be used for both thought and emotion. According to what I heard, this could be why females are more comfortable in expressing their emotions than males are, and why male humans are sometimes confused by what is bothering a female human. I learned about this in the Most Extreme episode Battle of the Sexes.
