Littlefoot siezed an opportunity and bolted for the edge of the forest while the others distracted Kireek. He did not bother to look back. The longneck just kept focusing on what was ahead. He knew he had to reach the herd and get help.

Kaga saw Littlefoot run away and eaped in front of Kireek to block his path.
The iguanodon looked down at the raptor and said, "If you chase him, we'll get away. If you stay and fight us, he'll get away. Either way, you lose. You may as well just give up and get out of here."

Hunter was surprised at Mim's agility but she too seized the moment and slipped into the shadows and followed Littlefoot out of the forest, just in case he needed help finding the other elders. She managed to catch up to him and asked "Do you know where you're going? Cause I don't"

Longtail noticed a shadow moving, and without thinking pounced on the moving shadow and tackled it to the ground. A scuffle could be heard, and Longtail screamed in pain and shouted "Now you're mine!"

Kireek laconically looked after the fleeing Littlefoot, and then turned to Kaga grinning madly.
"You think so? That may be the case, except...I have backup..."
His eyes narrowed to slits as he continued, saying...
"Now, perish."

Dante lunged the second shadow, flooring it with a vicious kick.
"Wha-?"
The opponent wasn't Virgil, nor was it a familiar face...

Dodging an attack, Kaga said, "Is that the best you've got? You're pathetic!"
He backhanded Kireek away from him and added, "So far, all you have done is make empty threats. It looks like Virgil can't find competent goons so he had to settle for you."

Kaga took a step forward and said, "Besides, if you do anything to us, you'll have this entire valley after you."

Snork rushed at one of the attackers and grabbed the troodon by the throat.
He didn't know this one so he just flung the raptor aside and was about to go for the one he was sure was Virgil when Strafe shouted, "Look out!"

Someone struck him from behind, knocking the swimmer to the ground.

((OOC: No, there is only Kireek near where Mim and Cera currently are. However Kireek has alluded to having allies, he may be lying, but I don't know. :^.^: ))

"How do you know that there are others or that you are not just lieing?" Mim said. "I think if we feed you to some fastbiters and sharpteeth here no one will come to your rescue." Mim said.

Cera stood ready, she had an idea or 2 but was going to wait and see how things developed before she did any of them. She remembered Mr. Thicknose mentioning how threehorns could use their heads for more then smashing rocks & how Littlefoot sometimes had sorta good ideas.

Suddenly, another raptor walked back into the clearing holding Littlefoot and Hunter.
"These weaklings were escaping you, Kireek. Lord Virgil would be most displeased."

Kireek looked at him, narrowing his eyes.
"Silence Alastor. I intended to let you entertain yourself. That is all."

Dante looked at the unconcious foe, shaking his head...
"This is not a good thing. Virgil must have allies now..."

Mim got with the others wondering what to do now.

Cera was thinking. If they could not get to the grown ups, then maybe the grown ups could come to them. Petrie wasn't here to send off for help, so that left only 1 alternative that she could think of. She took a deep breath, threw back her head and shouted as loud as she could. Not a shout of anger.

Mr. Thicknose was eating and hearing the shout looked in the direction. "That does not sound good." He looked off to one side. "I do believe some flyers nest near here. I think I'll ask if some of them may not mind flying over in that direction to see what all the screaming is about." He said mainly to himself and set off.

Hunter looked really upset. Not at the fact that she was captured again, but the fact that she didn't see or hear it coming. She then hissed and said "When I get another chance, you are so going to die...I promise you that!" She said to Alastor with as much hatred as she could muster.

Longtail looked over to Dante and said "So if this isn't Virgil, then where is that little hatchling at?"

Snork lay on the ground and saw his attacker walk around and stand in front of him. Snork suddelny rolled onto his back, made a fist, and punched the attacker square in the face, sending him flying backwards through the air.

Snork got to his feet and shouted, "Is this the best you've got, Virgil? Is the mighty Virgil too scared to confront us himself?"

Strafe whisperd to him, "Don't get overconfident."

Snork alughed and replied, "That creep doesn't scare me. Besides, he ruined our game!"

Littlefoot growled to Alastor, "Put me down, you creep!"
He smacked the raptor between the legs with his tail.

Kaga taunted, responding to Kireek's comment "Sure. I bet. I can't decide which of you two is more pathetic. You..." he said refering to Kireek, "Because you're all talk and no show, or you..." he said revering to Alastor, "Because you just got whacked by a kid. You're both pretty low, threatening children an all. Your mother must be real proud."

The iguanodon took a step forward and said angrily, "I'm ending this right now."
He swung one of his front legs at Kireek, aiming at him with his spiked thumb.

Mr. Thicknose arrived at Rhyn's family's nest and looked up.

"Hello, is anyone home?" He asked. He saw a head of an adult poke over then another, followed by some smaller heads of their children.

"Hello, do you want something Mr. Thicknose?" The father asked.

"Yes, I wonder if you heard that screaming a while ago?" Mr. Thicknose asked.

"Yes, I wonder what is up." The father said.

"I am also curious. I was wondering if one of you could fly over in that area and have a look to see what is going on. It may be nothing, but one can never tell till one has seen." Mr. Thicknose said.

"I was about to do that since I see no other flyers in that area." The father said.

"Thanks, and good luck." Mr. Thicknose said.

"Can I go too daddy?" Rhyn asked.

"No, you stay here. I"ll be right back." He said and then launched himself into the air, flying at a high altitude and over in the direction of where the scream came from.

"Come on out, coward!" Snork shouted, trying to lure the enemy out.
He was begining to wonder if Virgil was even still there. Perhaps he had sent in his menions and left. It would be a very cowardly thing to do and the more Snork thought about it, the more angry he became.

Littlefoot watched as Kaga and Cera attacked the two intuders and then found some rocks that gave him an idea. Using his tail, Littlefoot began flinging the rocks at Kireek and Alastor.

Dante suddenly saw a flash of movement, then dove, pushing his friends out of the way as several sharpened rocks flew towards them. Virgil stood there, grinning evilly.
"Good Dante. Now, you have to face me..."

Kireek dodged Kaga's swipe, then flipped backwards, shattering the rocks that Littlefoot had launched at him...

Even as the others fought against Kireek's attack, Hunter stood absolutely still as if she were afraid, but that was far from the truth....she was only waiting for the right moment to make her move and bring Kireek down without him realizing what had happened. As Kireek smashed the rocks that Littlefoot had thrown, she saw her one and only chance...and took it!

Hunter lunged at the fastbitter and tried to bite down on his neck, while using her claws to try scratch at his face.

Longtail smiled as Dante pushed him out of the way and he heard Virgil's voice...Longtail then slid into the shadows of the trees around him and positioned himself behind Virgil and when he was sure he was solely focused on Dante, Longtail jumped at Virgil without making a single sound and opened his beak for a single bite onto his neck.

Mim and Cera went at Alabaster since Kireek seemed to be occupied. Cera charged horn first while Mim came at him at a more orderly pace and not charging.

Rhyn's father flew over to the spot the shout came from. He circled looking down. "My my," He said to himself, "This does not look like they came here for a relaxing dip in one of our pools." He said as he circled around and headed back to his nest to tell Mr. Threehorn as fast as he could.

After he had be told he nodded, "Yes, I agree. Some of the other grown ups need to be told. One of you tell Mr. Threehorn, he loves to fight. And Grandpa & Grandma Longneck, they are big and experienced. Be sure to tell some of the braver and experienced adults and make sure to tell some other flyers so the word can be spread. I'll head there myself." Mr. Thicknose said.

The family of flyers headed off, each to tell a different person as Mr. Thicknose started in the direction of where the shouting had come from. Rhyn went to tell the Longnecks, while her father went to tell Mr. Threehorn, her mother another adult, and her siblings to tell some other flyers.

Things had gone far enough. Kaga wanted to end this now and get help for his friends. Ignoring Alastor, Kaga took another swipe at Kireek while he was distracted with Hunter, hoping the fastbiter would not be able to fend off two attacks at once.
