The storm was dying down a little and Eddie was still feeling restless, so he opened his bedroom window and stepped out onto the roof, the symbiote enveloping him completely and transforming him into Venom.

He leapt for a nearby rooftop, deciding to go do a little exploring. It was a pity the buildings here weren't tall enough to make webswinging more possible.

"Hmm, I think I just heard the name of our dear captian," Venom said to himself as he landed on the rooftop above Gibbs.

(ooc: I'm not sure if this post is okay. I kind of got the idea from your post that Gibbs is near the outside of whatever building he's in and "swore" makes me think his voice was raised just enough that Venom might overhear him, but I can edit this out if that's not the case.)
