Dr. Zanasiu leapt into the car the key belonged to. It was red Chevy Corvette. He started the engine and drove out. To his horror, several tanks were busy patrolling the parking lots and empty spaces. Since it was broad daylight, he simply had to rely on sheer speed and maneuverability to evade the tanks.

He spotted his chance and floored the accelerator. The Corvette almost flew out of the parking lot but the tanks noticed and started firing their coaxial machine guns at him. Dr. Zanasiu was forced to weave in between the bursts of machine gun fire. Several of the bullets pierced the back windows and the trunk but he was unharmed. He soon sped out of range.

Zachary and his group entered the AWTR.

"Okay, everyone, grab a weapon and power cells." Zachary said. As he spoke he grabbed a laser rifle and shoved several power cells in his pockets.

Alfred grabbed a gauss rifle that bore a striking resemblance to his shotgun, save for the detachable box magazine and a butt loaded power cell. He also grabbed several of the cylindrical power cells and loaded several magazines with the gauss darts.

(OOC: Yeah, I'll be in the third RP and will help plan for it, but, like I said, since Lab 101 needs to be discovered before Shelton will actually appear, it may be some time before I'll be posting in the RP. Which I actually like, gives me time to get my study deficit lowered.)

(OOC - Those weapons are not likely to be found in the AWTR. The Advanced Weapons Testing Range is more likely to hold things like laser rifles, gauss weapons and other stuff like that.)

Werner grabbed another laser rifle and shoved some power cells in his pocket.

Hans grabbed a .30 caliber gauss rifle with a scope. He too began loading the gauss darts into the magazine. The gauss darts he was using were larger than the ones that Alfred's weapon used but both of them had fins for stability.

Zachary got into a Humvee. Hans manned the remote controlled laser turret on it.

Alfred got into a Humvee with Dr. Greene who was busy loading railgun slugs into it.

"Do you know how to use this railgun?" Alfred asked.

Dr. Greene nodded. "I developed the weapon. I better know how."

Nixon leapt into another Humvee, PFC Reynolds manned the electrically remote laser system.

"We're ready! Get into a vehicle!" Alfred said. The Humvee's speaker system made sure everyone in the AWTR heard it.

Werner was trying to start the generator to open the doors. He then spotted some special forces troopers running in at the farthest point of the AWTR. "Guys! They're coming!" he said.

Dr Landon and Aisha buckled themselved into the middle seat of the humvee " Put your foot doan and lets get out of here.." Aisha said clutching her weapon tightly in her hands..

Werner got the generator started and the doors slowly slid open. He then leapt into Zachary's Humvee.

"Shouldn't we just simply haul ass to Carson City Camp and let them take the base?" PFC Reynolds asked.

"No! We've driven Dragonstorm out of Pelvanida, we do not want them taking it back!" Nixon replied.

The radio in the Humvees broadcast their argument to all of them.

The special forces troopers then began firing.

"Go, go, go!" Zachary shouted, heading out of the garage. Hans leaned out the window and killed the three troopers shooting at them. His laser rifle easily burned through their heavy armor.

"So what do we do? Try and wipe out the invaders now, haul ass to Carson City Camp, get reinforcements then wipe out the invaders. Or do we just let the invaders have Pelvanida?" Alfred asked, driving the Humvee out of the garage.

We try and protect Pelvanida of course.. but we do need reinforments" Dr Landon said...; we get them then head back here and clear it of special forces then we go after Dragonstorm..

Alfred stepped on the gas and the Humvees darted from the garage.

Two tanks tried to stop them but Dr. Greene's quick aim with the railgun disabled one of them and Hans's powerful laser cannon burned through the armor of the other one and set it on fire.

The convoy then headed through the broken fence left by the tanks and off into the distance. At this point, two more Humvees darted from the garage and gave chase.

Corporal Stern looked out of the back of the vehicle he was in and saw more humvees pursuing him.

"Great! Just great!" he thought to himself. "We've got more enemies approaching, and I STILL don't have any ammo!"

"There should be a shotgun and some ammo in the back." Zachary said.

Hans waited for the turret to recharge and he fired. The bouncing of the vehicle caused the beam to miss. He then heard the sound of machine gun fire pinging off his vehicle.

Dr. Zanasiu stopped at a gas station to get fuel and breakfast.

He noticed someone eying his dirty lab coat. He paid for the goods and drove off.

Meanwhile, the helicopter team landed back in Utah, where medical teams and escorts stood by. Feral never survived the trip, even with Vic's expertise. Two soldiers with a stretcher came to take the commander's body from the Black Hawk, and handed Vic a towel for his blood-soaked hands as he and Aiko got off the chopper.

The passengers from the other Black Hawk knew immediately what had happened, with Snow's telepathic powers. Everyone joined in the base to be treated for injuries...and for the Dragonstorm data to be analyzed...

Aisha hopped into the Humvee carrying hot sausage busuits for herself Dr Landon, Alfred along with soft pretzels and hot coffee. "Hope you guys like decaf they were out of regular' She said the group had stopped at a gas station to refill the tank, and Aisha had used the bathroom, and gotten some breakfast for them.

Alfred walked out of the gas station with a large mug of decaf coffee and a heavy whole wheat bagel. "Man, it seems everyone's talking about that Vegas escapade. Even when I using the bathroom they were still talking about it." he said.

Dr. Greene followed Alfred. Dr. Greene was carrying a bag of pita bread and some hummus. He had also used the bathroom and washed his face.

Outside, Zachary and Nixon were refueling their vehicles at the same time.

Hans returned with two bagel with cream cheese and two mugs of hot green tea. He handed one bagel to Werner and proceeded to eat the other one.

Zachary returned with a bowl of hot minstrone soup for himself and bagels with cream cheese for for Corporal Stern and Sgt. Clyco. He was also carrying a tray of hot tea.

Dr landon took a sausage Biscuit from Aisha, he had bought a large bag of sour cream and onion chips, a number of hot dogs and a local paper. the paper's headline read "Terror in Vegas- Sin City under Attack." A picture showed the burning wreckage of a tank. "well, folks . this has likely gone global,.."
