Violet grabbed a chair and tossed it angrily at the mirror, cracking it before she headed out of her room, her look was now changed completely, her fur was completely black and a tad longer, but her tail was longer than anythign else, almost reaching the ground as she walked the hallways, not too sure where she was going to go at the moment, as she didn't want to have to head back to wedding reception because of what had happened to her.

Meanwhile, underground...

Dememoras's armies were comprised mostly of Dracons. He changed them, but they were still the same beings at their cores. What many did not know was that much of the day-to-day labor of the armies was taken care of by colonies of kobolds. Numbering over a million, these little creatures were impressed into service for Dememoras, largely by fear and by a desire to "be on the right side." Kobolds were a numerous race, known for their mining skills and fast breeding. Shaped like small bipedal lizards, adventurers and soldiers alike considered them to as much an annoyance as anything else.

Standing only at about half the height of a human or dracon, they were little threat, except in overwhelming numbers, and even then, they required good weapons, leadership, and frequently, some form of magical enhancement to be a serious danger. The kobolds in the Dracon lands numbered about 3 million, which was still less than 10% of the population of the Dracons themselves. About 1 in 3 kobolds served the evil forces loyal to Dememoras, although they didn't know his name. References to "the unknown master" or "the dark master" abounded, but these were dismissed as references to a deity of theirs by adventurers who fought these little pests, not as a piece in the puzzle of a conspiracy by an ancient evil who styled himself as a god.

Serving as manual laborers, construction crews, miners, cooks, maids, chattel servants, carpenters, waiters, farmers, masseuses, coopers, weavers, and whatever other menial tasks the armies of Dememoras could think of, they provided many services and goods, thus freeing up more dracons to fight. The fact that Dememoras could create such a larger series of armies in secret was amazing, but it could not have been done without the aid of countless little kobolds providing the daily work needed to supply such a force. He and his forces mistreated these little humanoids, regularly abusing them, underfeeding them, keeping them as slaves, and refusing to allow them anything more than a loincloth to wear and a straw mat to sleep on. This was to be the fate of the "weak", if there was submission from them, they could live, but it would be a horribly degraded existence.

Ku'ux decided to step out for some fresh air when he saw Violet walking towards him, to which he spoke up to her "Violet, you seem different now.....what did you do to your fur?" he decided to ask her.

Violet however, just gave off a glare to him "Back off bull...." she seemed to growl slightly as she walked on past him.  She was indeed, in a rather foul mood at the moment.

Ku'ux just snorted back "Look, just because you look different, does not mean you have to act different"

"Oh, and this is coming from someone who's usually in a rather foul mood no matter what?" Violet asked back as she stopped where she was and turned to face Ku'ux.

"You should watch what you say" replied Ku'ux with a glare.

"Or what? What are you going to do about it hmm?" Violet asked, only to have silence from Ku'ux "That's what I thought, you just don't have the guts to do a thing" she added on, poking his hest as well.

Ku'ux just seemed to snort back once again "Aww, what's the matter? Did I hurt the poor minotaur's feelings?" Violet teased.  She wasn't herself by the looks of things, something was very different about her.

"Back off Violet, something is wrong with you, you are not yourself" Ku'ux told her.

"Oh? And how would you know? You don't know me, how do you know that this isn't what I really am hmm?" replied Violet as she walked around him.

"You need to seek one of these mages, they can heal you"

"Blah, blah, blah, talk, talk, talk, that's all I'm getting from you, just complete nonsense, mages healing me? Pfft, I'm having far too much fun now, so I'm just going to have to decline that request" replied Violet as she walked past him and entered the temple "Evening all" she addressed practically everyone in the temple.

The party in the temple was too loud for her to be heard over all of them, but Violet managed to get the attention of Adykon, who was very concerned;

"Violet, you really need some help. Please, if you won't see a cleric who can exorcise curses, then at least go see a doctor, a nurse, an apothecary, anything! At least, let them take a look at you. That does NOT look good."

"You know, I could say the exact same thing about you....oh no, wait, my mistake, that how you always look" Violet joked back to him before putting an arm around here "Oh lighten up already, between you and me, I'm rather fine actualy"

She then stepped back slightly and showed herself off before grabbing a glass of wine from another person's plate and gave it a sip "Hey! That's mine!" was all she heard.
"If it was yours, it would be in your hands right now, but its in my hands, so I guess it must be mine" Violet replied as she drunk the rest of the wine before tossing the glass over her shoulder as she turned to Adykon again, giving off a bit of a smirk as well "One thing I must compliment on is the wine, not that bad really, not that bad at all"

Vespion decided to take matters into his own hands. Seeing that Violet was acting badly, and knowing that Jake had already been lost to a curse which modified one's behavior, the cleric approached her and cast a sleeping spell on her. It made her fall, but he caught her.

"I'll take her deeper into the temple for examination." Vespion told Adykon.

"Good. Just take care of her." the warrior replied, knowing that Vespion did that to prevent her from ruining the wedding as much as anything else.

Violet looked over to Vespion and was about to say something else when he cast the sleep spell onto her, which had enough power to knock her out.

Ku'ux walked over and saw that Violet had been sedated "About time she was taken care of, she hasn't been herself by the looks of things, I trust that you will be able to find out what is wrong with her?" he asked Vespion.

"I should" Vespion replied. He saw that the wedding reception was going well, and would continue for several hours more. Taking Violet into a room of the temple, he laid her down on a bed normally reserved for a Hierodule; this chamber was empty of the females at the moment. Before Violet could wake up again, Vespion returned with a female dracon, a healer. He quickly explained to her what was going on.

Ku'ux turned to Adykon at that point "What if you can't find a cure for her? What then?" he decided to ask him as he looked around at everyone else still having fun and what have you "However, I do have to say that doing that was best, we wouldn't want her ruining everything"

Violet on the other hand, was still out cold, just twitching now and then, unaware of what was going around her at the moment, nor having any idea on where she was either.

"I don't know, Ku'ux. I just... don't know." This was getting to Adykon. So many crises piling on top of one another. Jake was missing, an enemy army was approaching, that archmage was still under siege, Gerasia had been kidnapped, his whole race was threatened with tyranny and enslavement, and now, something was wrong with Violet.

Vespion and the healer removed her garments to examine the effects of the curse. The healer did most of the examination. Her body was standard for a female humanoid. She had well-developed tiotleglas on her chest, and a lithe body with soft fur. Her body was covered in curse-markings which shone through her furred skin. Neither Dracon knew how to get rid of them. Vespion attempted a standard "remove curse" spell, but to no avail. This kind of curse needed a specific counterspell to get rid of it.

And that's when Violet's eyes shot open as she glanced over to Vespion with a light little chuckle of some sort "My, you just could not wait could you?" she asked him rather teasingly in reagrdes to her clothes being removed off her body.

She sat up as she glanced at the female healer "Such a shame is it not? Not being able to get rid of this....curse of mine? Although, I wouldn't call if a curse myself, it's more of a gift, wouldn't you agree?" she asked both of them at the same time.

She made no hurry to even grab her clothes at the moment as she just smirked still as she sat there, almost as if she was amused about what Vespion had attempted to do in regards to getting rid of the curse upon her.

"Violet, just lie still, or I'll have to cast an even stronger sleep spell on you. This is for your own good. Now, lie back down and I'll see what can be done. You need help, and that's exactly what you'll get, girl." Vespion told her.

"Oh, you mean like this?" Violet asked back as she lay on her stomach "Or, were you after this?" she then lay on her back again with another chuckle as she glanced over to Vespion "I'm ready for my check-up Mr. Mage"

She placed a finger of hers onto her lips as she did indeed, lay still for the time being, yet, let off a yawn to signal that she was just bored "You know, you're just wasting your time, well, both yours, and my time as well, but hey, you can just keep on trying, nothing you have is going to work"

They had her lie down on her stomach. After examining her and trying several spells, nothing worked. They had her lie on her back again. Still, nothing worked. Vespion knew that the curse was pushing back against the energy he had conjured to remove it. He also sensed that the high priest could get rid of it, but he was busy meeting with the king and Kluthu, the king's court archmage. They were busy preparing a defense for the city, a task fare more important than freeing a wolf-girl from a curse.

Violet looked over at Vespion "Are we quite done here? Because I do wish to go back to the wedding reception for some more food" she added in with another smirk as she sat up again, folding her legs as well as as she just sat there on the bed "Because like I keep on telling you, but you keep on drowing out my voice, your just wasting time, wastime time that could be used for more practical means, like food and wine, speaking of which, have you tried the wine? It's actually not bad at all"

She kept her hands on her knees as well as she glanced back at the female healer "By the way, I would advice something better than what you're wearing, it's not very "traditional" one could say, looks rather dull actually" she added in with a bit of a laugh as well.

The female healer was wearing a loincloth and top, as most females of the land did. Not knowing what to say to that, the female dracon kept her silence.

"I'll let you go for now, Violet. If I catch you doing anything bad, I'll have to restrain you in ways that go far beyond a mere sleep spell." Vespion told her.

"Oh don't worry, you can trust me" Violet told Vespion as she got off the bed and walked over to her clothes, putting her shorts on before walking off with her shirt in her hand, for the time being, just tieing it around her waist.

Moments later, she was back within the hallways of the palace, having a simple waltz around as it were, just seeming to hum to herself as well "Wow, what a dull place" she ended up muttering to herself with a sigh, looking around rather dully as she approached a guard, an arm around him as well "So, do tell me, do you like your job here?"

The guard glanced at Violet, yet, remained silent still as she spoke again "Wow, even you lot are boring"

"I would advise you put on you shirt" one guard told her.

"Yeah, but that is only a suggestion" replied Violet as she left the guards alone and headed off outside into the market place for the time being before she finally decided to put her shirt on.

Eternion felt ill. Not so much in respect to his actual health as to what he was feeling deep inside emotionally. The uncomfortable reality had dawned on him, and all he could think about was what awaited him.

He now stood upon the roof of the old building, having climbed to the top in small leaps and bounds. All would have been too busy at the wedding to notice the dracon at the top of a tower... looking out over the city with nothing but a statue and his axe to keep him company.

He looked up into the air, tasting it with his tongue. He swore he could see rainclouds gathering in the distance, but it was difficult to see that far with only one eye. He would have to drink that potion soon... even though he knew deep inside he was trying to put it off as long as possible.

The idea of becoming young again disturbed him as much as the coming darkness did. For a moment, he could almost believe he was going mad... what other dracon would forgo such an occasion as a wedding to watch the world descend into chaos upon the highest spire he could climb?

Eternion had a good view of the market place from where he was. Though his eye troubled him, he glanced... Violet? No, the creature was too dark for it to be her. Of course, there wasn't any other werewolves about that he knew of... was there?

Yes, he was certainly going mad. He decided to get a closer look, leaping across the tower and onto the roof of a nearby building... he rolled to cushion his impact, and bounded to the other side, which faced the market place.

Sasha followed Eternion. He hadn't even acknowledged her! Either he was very deep in thought, or something was wrong with him... or both! Being a teenage girl, she wasn't strong or durable, but she was agile. The wooden roofs of the old buildings weren't the softest things to walk on, but they sure beat the hard stone streets. Of course, most roads were made of sand and earth in these lands, but not in the good sections of town, oh no.

"Eternion what're you-?!" Sasha approached him, and quickly saw that his gaze was directed towards a figure in the street. Peering in the same direction, the girl saw a figure that resembled the newcomer to the party, Violet. Her fur was different. Darker. Was this some sort of trick? Everything was so out of control these days...

She would worry about it later; a change of color was hardly cause for such concern. Turning to Eternion, Sasha asked him;

"Is something wrong? Is this about Violet?"

Violet continued walk through the streets of market, glancing at each of the shops before stopping in front of one.

She looked at the shop rather dully "Is this it?" she glanced around at everything else before her eyes were set upon Eternion and Sasha and just smirked to herself before started to climb up the side of the shop and onto the roof, yet, kept her sight on the two of them still.

She walked along the rooftops, jumping from one to another before she stopped a roof away from there "My, having fun are we? You know, climbing on rooftops, enjoying the sights, stalking" she said with a smirk still.
