As before, Selturma looked at Kayla. The human girl was probably attractive for her kind, with black hair and light tan skin. In a moment of competitiveness, the dracon female noted that Kayla's tiotleglas were a bit smaller than her own.

"Alright, Kayla. Are you comfortable? I don't know if you dress like this much. I know Sasha does, but I also know that humans are a bit weird when it comes to wearing clothing so much indoors." What Selturma said was true from her race's perspective; Dracons wore much less indoors, although it was more fair to say indoors and in private.

Kayla sat back down on the edge of the bed for the time being, resting on her hands as she leaned back slightly and shrugged a bit.

"Ah, don't worry about it Selturma, I'm actually rather comfortable like this as well, I guess in a way, you could say that I'm not too use to being like this in front of others, but now that I'm doing this....it's not all that bad" Kayla replied back to her.

"You look a lot like a Dracon. I see that you have smooth skin, tiotleglas, and you look like you are in pretty good shape. I don't know how you keep all that hair on your head, though, and your lack of horns is... odd. And your feet are... does wearing shoes do that to you?" Selturma had seen it before on Sasha and Jake, but it never failed to intrigue her.

Dracons had three large, clawed toes and a spur, so it was not at all odd that they would find the five small toes of a human to be odd.

Kayla looked to her feet, then to Selturma's feet before looking at her "No, wearing shoes doesn't do that to one's own feet"

She then ran her fingers through her hair "Yeah, and my hair, well, I like my hair myself, so really, I'm rather happy with how I am" she looked at Selturma once again, giving off a bit of a smile as well "Sorry, I don't mean to offend you or anything like that"

"It's okay. I don't understand how you humans get around without claws. It seems like your kind is crippled without wearing shoes. I'd hate to have to put anything on my feet just to go anywhere. It seems so odd to me."

Selturma, like other Dracons, used no footwear, although they often paid the price for it in the form of much pain. That said, their thicker skin made it easier to travel without shoes than humans could.

"Heh heh, yeah, I suppose you could say that" Kayla replied back with a little laugh "Besides, I don't mean to gloat or anything like that, but I would say that my agility would be rather good actually"

She then folded her arms for a moment "I'm not slow like how some other humans can be, I am rather fast and what have you, I guess you could say I have trained myself to be like that.....or something along those lines anyway" she spoke with a small shrug again as she lay down on her back for the time being.

"I was trained as well" Selturma replied, stretching out. "I also have a tail to help me keep my balance" she added, waving her tail back and forth. "Still, I can't imagine you can balance with something on your feet. How would you be able to keep your footing if you need to press something else on the ground just to stand up?"

Selturma might have had an advantage; her tail acted as a counterbalance, although it was by no means a perfect setup.

"Yeah, that's true too, although, half the time, I don't actually wear shoes if I'm going to fight, only if I need to sort of thing, depends really on what sort of weather and how hot or cold the ground is" Kayla replied back.

She then looked to Selturma's feet again "So really, my feet aren't all that perfect like Dracon feet, but hey, I'm not worried or anything like that" she added on as she gave off a bit of a stretch herself.

"You humans are strange creatures. I don't understand how you have been able to build so many kingdoms and empires. Oh well. What kind of things can you do in a fight? I know some martial arts and I can use my claws and fangs... and my acid breath, although it is kinda weak."

Dracons had an acidic breath, but it rarely used, as only strong adult males could really do any damage with it.

"In a fight? Well, I usually like to fight with a knife, combined with my agility and all that you know....and believe it or not, so far, it has worked wonders for me....although, lately, I doubt it would work against something like a dragon for example" Kayla replied back.

Granted, Kayla, lately, hadn't kept a knife on her, since she had lost her last knife as it were, so she needed to go and get a new one, but she wasn't sure on where she would get another knife from really.

"What about an unarmed fight? Can you fight if you had no weapons? I can. In fact, that's pretty much all I know how to do in a fight, although... I am not of much use now. The enemies we are fighting against are way too powerful. In any case, do you know any martial arts? How do you humans fight without weapons?"

Fangs and claws were natural for Dracons, but humans did not have such natural tools. On the other hand, humans were not helpless; it was humanity that invented a wide range of weapons and armor which more than made up the difference.

Kayla arched an eyebrow slightly "To tell you the truth, I haven't really fought anyone with no weapons, well, not often anyway, I mean, I'm sure I would be able to handle myself with normal enemies you know"

But it was true, she would usually fight with a knife instead of fighting with no weapons at all, but granted, she would still fight without weapons if it also came to that.

"What do you mean by 'normal' enemies. We have all sorts of foes. Dememoras usually sends foes with weapons and armor. How would you fight that without weapons or armor of your own?" Selturma was skeptical, but maybe Kayla had abilities that no one had anticipated.

Was Kayla a mage? Did she had the ability to control the elements or read minds? These things weren't so odd in a world so full of magic.

That was true too, she wasn't perfect, she had not thought of what it would be like, actually fighting unarmed as she was more or less just taking wild guesses for the time being.

Selturma went on for five whole minutes about how much she enjoyed dancing, and how if that didn't work out, she wanted to be an acrobat. The game had not yet started, but both girls seemed to be enjoying themselves very much by just talking to each other.

"... and if nothing else works, I'm sure Rex will take good care of me. So, Kayla, what sorta things do you like to do?"

"Well, since I don't even have a job at the moment, I've got to do whatever I can to pass away the time, you know, meditate, a bit of yoga....stretching that is and dancing now and then too" Kayla replied back to Selturma as she then moved and layed down onto her stomach, well, holding herself up with her arms.

She did indeed, want a job of some sort, but was never too sure on what she would actually be good at doing half the time, so really, she would instead, for the time being, dance, mediate and do yoga at the very least.

I know that human females are allowed to do more things in their lands than many Dracon females do." Selturma was interested in what a human female would do all day.

"Are you some sort of noble?" She added, interested in learning how important this girl was.

"My father?" Kayla asked before giving off a bit of a scoff "I'd rather not talk about him, we don't see eye to eye as one could say, but as for my mother.....I really don't know what's happened to her as of late"

Kayla paused for a second before speaking once more "A noble? Nah, I'm no noble....at least, I don't think I am" she laughed a little bit as well "But in all seriousness, I'm not a noble you know, why do you ask?" she asked rather curiously now.

"Alright, I get the idea. We should start the game." Selturma went over to the mat, and stretched out. "Alright Jake, I'm ready. Kayla, you should come over to the mat. Jake, just make sure to tell us things like 'right foot, blue circle' or "left hand, green circle.' We should be able to figure things out from there."

The mat had several rows of circles, colored red, green, yellow, and blue. There was enough room for up to six people, so holding only two was no problem.
