"I don't really think we have time to-" Adykon said, but he was cut off by the sudden approach of a large, winged dracon, who suddenly landed right next to the party!
It was not quite fair to say that he had come out of nowhere; indeed, Vespion had sensed a creature with a mixed nature. A being of light and darkness. What was unexpected was how suddenly this being emerged and how powerful this being appeared to be. His head was covered in seven horns, far more than the two that a normal dracon has, and his tail was clearly like that of a scorpion's!
It took a moment to register, but Adykon was the first to notice it. This creature, whoever he was, whatever he was, had the same basic appearance as Dememoras! No, this was not quite so. This being had red scales and claws on his hands and feet that were normal, and while it was clearly not normal, his wings looked somehow less threatening than those of Dememoras, or even than those of the Dragonblooded soldiers. His wings were less angular, more natural, and were somewhat smaller in relation to the rest of him.
"Who-who are you?!" Vespion was the first one to ask.
"My real name is of no concern right now, but you may call me Typhon. You have no idea how long I have waited to meet you, Adykon, and you, Vespion. It is rather fitting that you should be the first one to address me, cleric."
This "Typhon", if that even was his real name, made no attempt to attack or threaten the party. His appearance was no coincidence; he had been waiting for this moment for reasons all his own.
