Aurora thought it had something to do with the fact that Burdock had fur, which would not be comfortable in this hot land.

Burdock didn't know the term she had used, but understood what she meant.

"Oh, don't worry, I wear the real "me" on the outside. Frankly, I find it hard to get a male some days. There are so many females at these taverns, and only so many males show up who are interested in "looking" for a female on any given night. And, since so many other females have looks like mine, it can be hard to get attention."

Aurora looked at him and sighed. "You are so much like the other males. Strong, tall, and interested in me. But, we are not of the same kind. It's a common misconception, believe me, but we Dracons cannot go around mating anyone that comes in here. That would be like... copulating with a horse. Still, if you want me to make you feel good, I can do that, just not quite in that way."
