I'm thinking about how remarkable it is that, despite how political discussions these days have become more toxic than ever before, this site's section dedicated to such topics has been virtually silent for quite a long time now.

Probably for the best, I suppose.

What is there to say. We lost, now is the time to hunker down and hope your verse in the poem never comes up. Any meaningful form of opposition is no longer possible, so form a local community for protection and don't draw attention to yourself, it's for the best.

I am thinking how I really want to sink my teeth into a Paleontology book. There is this one I saw that looked very good for adults.
