Well I really can't do much since in the RP I'm still with Mrykin I can try to keep in the rp with the other characters i'm RPing as.

I still am.  I have mine off by themselves for now since I'm confused as to who is where & maybe a minor detail or 2.

Well mostly everyone is at the thundering falls, everyone else is at the cliff barrier, or rather going away from it. Anna, Guido, and Anna's characters are off near a watering hole where Anna is fishing. And then Myrkin and Chomper are elsewhere catching bugs. Then Chronicler and Ruby are in Ruby's cave just talking.

I hope that cleared up a few things.

As for the [1] last I heard there is a limit of about 2 posts a day.  It's a way for me to keep track of how many posts I've done for that day.  Got the idea before where there was another rp that had a limit of 2 posts a day.  This way with a mere glance at my last post I can tell how many posts I've done for that day.

I checked Myrkin's profile, and apparently he last visited the GOF on July 20th. I think he's just been "quiet" lately; he drops by the forum, but doesn't post anything. Perhaps he's forgotten about the RP. If no one's done so already, I personally think the best course of action is to PM him and ask him if he's still playing or not, and what we should do with Sierra, Rinkus, and Chomper if he is not. We'll have a much better chance of finding out than we will if we just keep waiting for him to notice this thread. Same with the other RPers who haven't been active lately.

I wouldn't say that, though quite a few people aren't really playing this rp anymore it seems like. A lot of the characters have been already taken, unless some of the other players are not indeed playing anymore, feel free to say so here.

Tell me what characters you want to play and I will see which ones are aviable for not.

Not really sure, I figured I'd first focus on the fictional me getting to the LBT Universe. Also I'm gonna be a Dome head (Pachycephalosaurus) any idea which Characters are free, also I was wondering if we could bring back Sharp tooth (From the first film), since there are a few stories about Sharp tooth surviving.

Sure, you can use that character, how would you like to present him? Just so I can get you up to speed with the plot, Red Claw is also in this rp, who is also blind, he's going after my character, Amy for blinding him completely. The others are in the Great Valley are at the falls, at the barrier wall surrounding the Great Valley.

While I'm not the boss of this RP, I personally disagree with the idea of bringing Sharptooth back. For one thing, I just don't like it. I'm not particularly fond of those fanfictions that bring Sharptooth back; I've always felt that the gang's crowning moment; the one that really cemented their ties as a group, was the defeat of Sharptooth. And it's not very realistic that he would have survived either. He fell off the top of a cliff into a lake (not that huge falls have fazed him much before), was hit in the stomach with a giant rock that must have knocked the wind out of him at least, and we saw his body sinking into the depths. And given that the gang didn't leave the area right away (the next sceneóthough originally intended to appear earlieróshowed Littlefoot on a precipice above the same lake, with no Sharptooth in sight), he evidently didn't climb out anytime soon afterwards either; the gang would have noticed that, and probably tried again to kill him. He couldn't have lasted without air for that long; it seems certain he drowned. As big a fan as I am of Sharptooth, in my mind he's gone for good.

As you mentioned, Rat_lady7, we already have Red Claw as a villain for this RP. There’s also Screech and Thud, of course, and Myrkin (whom we don’t know is still playing) introduced a subplot of sorts involving his character being blackmailed by Sierra and Rinkus. Personally I think Sharptooth would overshadow Red Claw, as he can still see (albeit with only one eye) and is almost universally considered by fans to have been a much more impressive and dangerous predator.

Also, we can’t have every post in the RP with Sharptooth in it be about him attacking the Great Valley and fighting the residents; whenever such events have occurred in the RP, most of the players have gotten involved, because some characters have to go and fight the intruding sharpteeth, and for many of those that don’t get immediately involved, it doesn’t make sense for them to just stay where they are and continue whatever they were doing as if everything were normal. Even for the players who didn’t get involved in the confrontations, they would be an inconvenience to them, as many of the other characters whom they would otherwise interact with would be distracted by Sharptooth’s attack.

At any rate, what would Sharptooth do when he’s not attacking the valley? I personally have a hard time imagining him spending his “free time” conversing with other predators the way Red Claw does with Screech and Thud.

Rocky, are you interested in using Sharptooth because you like the character, or do you just want to RP with a sharptooth character? If it’s the latter, perhaps you could create a sharptooth OC to use instead.

I agree with Pangaea on all points. I'm not a fan of fantasy, and I always prefer a more factual explanation for anything. Based on what we saw, I can definitely say with absolute certainty that Sharptooth is dead. The way I see it, a blinded Redclaw desperate for revenge is antagonistic enough.

Also I was wondering if whoever controls Hyp, Mutt, and nod is still active.

I was also thinking maybe we could kill of red claw, screech and thud, and make a new  sharptooth  antagonist, and have said antagonist kill chompers Parents.

With all due respect, I'm sure everyone else in the RP would be even LESS likely to agree to that then to resurrecting Sharptooth and having him show up. I for one do not want to have Screech (who is one of my characters) killed off, and the already-established villains taken out of the picture to make room for an OC villain. And while I can't speak for her, I seriously doubt Rat_lady7 would consent either.

Still, I assume it would be okay if you wanted to use an OC as a villain (though you'd have to check with assuming it's okay with Rat_lady7 to be sure), provided that he or she doesn't kill off any important characters. Alternatively, you could bring back a different sharptooth from the LBT canon; one whose fate was ambiguous, like the Giganotosaurus from LBT V, or the Spinosaurus from XII.

Seeing as Rat_lady7 is the one in charge of the RP, I don't feel “qualified” to tell you for certain (you'd have to hear it from her), but I'd expect that the answer is no.

No, no one's playing them (or ever has), though again you'd probably want to get permission from Rat_lady7 before you introduced them.

Good question there…it would take a lot of digging through the RP thread to clear it up, and even then, it's not always apparent which form a particular member is at a particular time. The following is what I know:

ïAmy, Chronicler, and I have always only been in our dino forms. (My character has met them both.)

ï My character has also met Anna (CT) and Rick (GVG), but I'm not completely sure if he's seen them in their human forms.

ï You, as I recall, had your character switch to human form at one point, but I don't know how long you stayed that way, so my character may not have seen it (However, he strongly suspects that you are human based on the fact that you are a benevolent, English-speaking sharptooth ).

ï Amy apparently knows that you, CT, F-22, and I are GOF members.

I'm not sure if mine, Flapper, has seen anyone switch or if he's met any others or not.  I guess maybe he has, not sure on any of those counts.  In anyway he's remained in dino form his whole time here and would likely remain in dino form the whole time to fit in better.

Alright, just to answer Rocky, I want to lay down some rules and restate some, since obviously, not everyone has read them.

I'm just going to quote what other people have said to clarify some things, but first I just want to say one thing.

Rocky It's okay if you type another post or in other words double post. If you edit the post, I can't tell if someone did it or not since there is no notification about it, but I can tell if someone has made a new post because I am notified about it. That's just for this rp though, in some other topics that AREN'T rp you may need to edit.

This is a big no-no in a lot of rps, you don't control another person's character without their permission. But if you want to create another character, by all means you can.

However, there is a condition for this, which I will explain to your next question:

No one is controlling these characters at the moment, but if you want, you can control them if you want. The maximum of characters in this rp is 4 characters, this is so everyone can have a fair amount of characters to control. Since you only have one right now, you can control those three. But if you want to control another character you have to choose if you want to let go one other character.

Like I said to your idea about the Sharptooth, we need an agreement with others. My first reaction would be no, since I have an idea with Red Claw.

We need an opinion to see what the other rpers want. Since an rp is indeed a group project.

Alright...now about the human switching.

I know CT's character switches to human and to dinosaur. However, everyone else seems to not be doing this. I have nothing against doing this, there is no requirement on doing this, but I personally just want my character to stay a dinosaur.  

I know when Noname was playing, he was human.
