ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS:[/b]
As you all have probably heard,
Rat_lady7 has decided to leave the GOF (hopefully it will only be temporary), entrusting me and The Great Valley Guardian with the "In The Land Before Time" RP.
Having been an active participant and supporter of this RP for over a year now, I have no intention of letting it die, and will do my best to keep it going. So please, all of you continue posting and enjoying yourselves in this RP!
Rat_lady's dinosona (Amy, the flyer) will, of course, be leaving the RP. My thought was that she would leave with Pterano (who, in
a recent post, agreed to teach her to fly), possibly to the Mysterious Beyond. Sometime this week I plan to post this event (either a post I wrote myself, or one which I post on Rat_lady's behalf, depending on whether or not she responds to the PM I sent her). This will take Pterano out of the picture as well, reducing the number of characters to pick up for Rat_lady.
I was thinking of taking over Red Claw, thereby controlling all three members of the sharptooth pack and making their actions easier to coordinate, though I am willing to negotiate with anyone who wants to play him and believes that he or she can keep him in character and maintain his objectives in the RP.
The other characters now open for playing (at least until Rat_lady returns) are:
Littlefoot
Mr. Threehorn
Tria
Rebecca (Petrie's mother)
While I'm willing to play any number of these characters if no one else takes them, it would be rather difficult for me, and I'm not sure I'd know what to do with all of them (especially Littlefoot and Tria). So if anyone would like to or is willing to pick up any of these characters, please speak up. Thanks.
Apart from the character changes, the RP will continue as normal. The plan is still as follows:
ï My character (Pangaea) leaves the others and meets up with Ozzy and Strut.
ï As Pangaea attempts to convince the egg stealers to leave the valley, Screech and Thud (who have found a path into the valley) attack. Ozzy and Strut run off, while Pangaea is captured by Screech and Thud.
ï Screech and Thud bring Pangaea to Red Claw, hoping to use him as bait to draw Amy out of the valley (not knowing that she has left).
ï Someone (possibly Guido, Petrie's mother, or a character belonging to another player who volunteers) who has witnessed Pangaea's capture from afar, informs the other dinosaurs, prompting them to form a rescue party (consisting of anyone who chooses to participate).
ï Eventually, the group faces off against Red Claw, Screech, and Thud, who see that Amy is not with them. (It's possible that Chomper could even tell them that Amy has left, and tricks them into leaving to search for her in the wrong direction.) Nonetheless, the valley dinosaurs have to fight to get Pangaea back. Hopefully they succeed.
